BRIELLE
“Thank the goddess you’re back!” Tania cried, running into my arms for a hug. I held her close, embracing my sweet maid, who had tears in those googly eyes of hers.
She didn’t even allow us to step into the mansion fully. She spotted me at the entrance and just dived into my arms for a squeeze.
“Don’t you ever leave like that again. Even if you want to go away from this place, please take me along,” Tania said, sniffing while lifting herself from the hug.
I gave a smile at her and said, patting her shoulder, “I am not leaving. I am here to stay.”
She gasped out in joy, hugging me once again. In that position, I directed my eyes at Argon, who was staring at me lovingly, feeling pleased with my words.
“Let’s go inside,” He said, drawing nearer with his hand falling on my back.
I nodded, entering the mansion to meet the servants of the home, all lined up to welcome me. They all bowed and greeted, “Welcome, Luna.”
Finally, after all these months, they now know who’s the true luna of this mansion. They should thank their Alpha for resetting their senses, otherwise, they would have seen the other side of me.
Only Tania showed her loyalty. The others just showed ten percentage of their respect and sat on the ninety.
“You must be tired from the journey. Please, let Tania escort you to the room. I’ll come later to check up on you, okay? ” Argon said, caressing me from the back.
“Okay, ” I responded with a light smile, taking hold of Tania’s hand.
Together, we both walked up the stairs and straight for my bedroom with my little luggage.
The moment we stepped into the room… “Best plan ever! ” Tania shrieked almost quietly, dancing crazy near the door.
Her joy bloomed not only my heart, but Bane’s as well. She laughed at Tania’s dance moves, calling it her medicine.
“At least her mad steps would help me in forgetting that kiss from Argon. It was so… BLEH! ” She complained, expressing her irritation to what occurred at my so-called new home.
“Oh, he’s lucky. I had wanted to bite his mouth. Then we’d have see blood oozing out like a river, ” She chortled deviously, making me chuckle at her nasty plans.
Another successful mission achieved. I finally drove that man insane. He is now crazy about me.
The journey was long and a bit rough for Bane, Tania, and I. But I knew we would eventually arrive at our goal very soon. And I can’t help but laugh at that man who thinks he can just crawl back into my life with ease.
What a pathetic fellow.
When I heard Estelle announcing that wedding date to the councils, I had to portray myself as the most happiest woman on the face of the earth, just to get on Argon’s nerves.
I wasn’t just provoking him, but wanted the dummy to blurt out the truth about his hidden feelings for me, and call off that wedding before it even starts. He is as stubborn as a stain on a white cloth. He wasn’t ready to confess his love to me.
So, I took the highway by ruining that wedding in a nice manner. Well, all credit goes to Bane, who made that disgusting poison for Estelle, after we discovered that the fetus in her womb was gone.
We know well what her next move would be, so why don’t we blast her before she tries her nasty trick on us?
And just like that, we succeeded in winning Argon’s heart by pretending to be affected by the poison. He had no choice but to submit himself at my feet, slowly revealing his care for me.
To ice the cake, I told the councils, with my sweet, innocent, angelic nature, to give Argon back his throne.
They melted at my words and had no choice but to do as I wish, marking me as the embodiment of love and peace
What a title, Haha!
Before they contacted Argon to come over, I left their place and carried out the final plan with Tania, giving her the divorce papers I signed, to give to Argon when she arrives at the mansion.
Everything was part of our plan. Bane contributed the most. She made sure Argon followed our trail to a point where he’d crave for me badly.
And the result was marvelous.
“Oh, how I wish we had a recorded his sad face. He almost cried when you screamed at him, ” Bane laughed, mocking Argon.
I smiled, nodding at her words. It was a beautiful moment for us, watching the man who once mocked my love for him back then, falling and begging me to accept his heart.
An eye for an eye, so the saying goes.
“We’ll see how strong his love is. How about that, Bane? ” I asked my wolf, feeling fired up.
Bane was delighted too. She had so many tests for Argon. “Let’s set up a burning pyre and order him to get in if he loves you. No! Let’s makes him stab himself with a silver knif to prove his love! Oh! So many things to do!”
“Your ideas are creepy. But still, I like it, ” I giggled, only to notice Tania looking at me.
She had a smile across her face, pointing at my head and asking, “Are you talking to my Wolf queen?”
Wolf queen? How many titles do Bane have?
Tania had become so obsessed with Bane, that she can’t stop herself from giving her beautiful titles, just to please Bane.
As for my wolf… She doesn’t care because it’s what she likes!
“Yes, I was talking to her. She’s really happy to be back home, ” I answered Tania, taking my seat on the bed.
She drew closer to me and asked, ” So, what next? Alpha Argon has now accepted you as his Luna. Are you going to start staying in his room and…”
“In his room? No way!” I interrupted Tania, swaying my head immediately.
“Yes, I agreed to return back with Argon, but I didn’t accept his love completely.”
“Wait, you didn’t?” She was surprised. That’s because I didn’t tell her what I was going to do when Argon comes looking for me.
After the passionate moment, I had told Argon I wasn’t going to accept him fully until he proves his love to me.
“My heart came locked after accepting you and Estelle’s love. Opening it means… It’s going to be hard for me, I’m sorry,” I had apologized to him, faking pains.
Now filled with love, Argon held me closely and decided to give me time to heal. “No matter what, I’ll be by your side, waiting for you to say yes to me. I am ready to prove my undying love to you, Brielle. In fact…”
Right there in front of me, Argon tore the divorce papers into pieces, so it won’t stand against our reunion. “When you agree to be mine, I’ll throw a grand wedding to express my love for you,” He had planned, kissing my forehead.
I shared this with Tania, so she’d know what was going on.
“Oh, that’s smart. Don’t let him think he can have you easily without working for it. Brilliant!” She cheered, clapping for me.
I was swimming in this praise when all of a sudden… “I think you need to head down stairs and intervene in this matter, Brielle,” Bane said, sensing something.
Taking her words, I exited the room swiftly and came to the top of the stairs, just in time to find Argon confronting that man that calls himself Jerome.
I almost forgot that he drove Argon and I back to the mansion. In fact, I am pleased he came along.
“We still have an unfinished business with that pudding head. Time for you to test Argon’s love and see if he has indeed surrendered himself to you, ” Bane suggested.
With a smirk, I walked down the stairs to meet Argon, who was venting his anger at Jerome for his past deeds. “Even if the goddess should step down and tell me to take you back, I will never listen to her,” He groaned, pointing at a helpless Jerome.
The former beta had his head bowed before the Alpha, unable to utter any word but receive the harsh words coming from his mouth.
When I drew nearer to Argon, I asked, “Even if I say you should forgive him, you’ll say no?”
“Brielle?” Argon was stunned to find me standing next to him. “Why are you here? I thought you were…”
“Argon, please,” I interrupted, taking hold of his hand. “I know Jerome has offended you by taking sides with Estelle and her father. But he didn’t know they were misleading him into believing their words. Please, think about all his sacrifices so far. Give him one more chance,” I pleaded, waiting to see what he’d do.
Argon’s face furrowed at my request. He took a glance at Jerome and gave a sigh. “Fine, I can’t say no to you,” He said, smiling at me.
“If you could find it in your heart to forgive my past mistakes, then who am I to do the opposite?” He grinned, cupping my face.
“Ah, perfect! The dog is being loyal to his master. Very good, Brielle,” Bane praised, thrilled with the result.
Honoring my wish, Argon forgave Jerome, telling him to resume tomorrow as Beta of the pack.
On hearing this, Jerome fell at Argon’s feet, thanking him for showing him mercy. “Thank you so much. I am so grateful to you, Alpha. ”
“You should be thanking my Luna, not me. You know well I wouldn’t allow you back. I don’t have a pure heart like hers, ” Argon said, correcting Jerome.
Quickly, he drew closer to my feet, bowing and appreciating me for my help. “You are indeed a Luna. You are so kind. Thank you.”
“It’s okay, Jerome. Welcome back, ” I said, smiling at the fool.
I haven’t forgotten what he did. He can’t go free without having a befitting reply from Bane. If only he knows what she has planned for his sorry ass.
