Simon POV.
“We can’t use phones, we can’t trust anyone, my brother won’t believe I made you drive me for nothing, when you get home, throw a fit, make it look bad, yell at your wife, make sure everyone thinks I made you drive me cause I want your little gang,” Storm says telling me to stop, we’re now on the edge of her territory, I don’t trust her people enough not to kill me on sight, we are on their good side, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try to kill me still.
“Okay, and then what?” I ask her, I get the idea, I’ll have to hide the fact that we got along, I’ll have to create a reason as to why she asked me to drive her, but that doesn’t explain how we would kill him unless if that’s she’s lying to me.
“Then you have to stay there for a week, a full week would be good, pretend to be on his good side, I won’t say a year, or two. I know humans are worried about losing their years and their life, so in a week, I’ll be there,” she says.
“Be there and then what? I still haven’t heard your full plan yet, I don’t think you said anything that would help me,” I say, going straight to the point.
“Yes, don’t be so impatient, wait for me to talk,” she scolds and I waited for her to explain her big plan, the one that was going to save us all from the badass vampire lord.
“Yes, your majesty, but I don’t have enough time to wait for you and your brilliant plan, we got to have a move on it,” I say reminding her I don’t have much time.
“Yes, in a week of time, I’m coming back to his house, I’m gonna have a backdoor left for me, you’re gonna have to leave it open, I need a way in, and then we’ll have to slip into his room, leave the rest for me, you’re gonna have to slip this into his wine, just a couple drops, to make him sleep, don’t drink from it, just add some into his drink unless if you want to sleep and not wake up,” she says handing me a tiny vial of poison? I wasn’t sure what she gave me.
“And when he knows what I gave him, he’ll kill me for it,” I say, with an eye roll, I wanted him gone but I didn’t have a death wish either.
“He won’t taste it, it won’t kill him, you just have to be smart about it,” she says, and I was ready to kill her now, but I can’t kill her, I need her help.
“Fine, in one week from now, and if you’re not there? Then what?” I ask her.
“Simon, I’m not a child, I’m not someone to mess with, you know what the name Storm means on the street, I always keep my word, unless I’m dead, you’ll see me in one week, don’t talk about me, don’t tell anyone about our plan, don’t say anything, keep it to yourself, don’t trust anyone, the walls got ears, I’ll see you in one week. My brother would be dead, I’ll get my prize, and you’ll be free, or as free as possible,” she says with a shrug.
“In one week,” I say ending the chat, she opened the door and left my car, I drove back home, I went to my home first, I packed a whole suitcase, one that would last me for the whole week I’ll be staying over at his home, that unless if I died before I get to come back home. And if that happens, I have a special suit that I want to be buried in, it’s written in my will, I left my home and went toward the vampire lord’s house, I haven’t told AJ that she wants him, but if he doesn’t want to go, I can shoot him or manage to get him away.
I walked inside the house without being told off, I acted like I owned the place, and no one bothered telling me otherwise, I went toward our room, trying to find my wife, ready to start a fight with her, raising hell about my lost job.
“I can’t believe this Sophia,” I screamed out loud and she looked at me confused, I simply nodded and kept on talking, screaming about Rain, calling her every bad word in the dictionary.
“I’m going to shower,” I say out loud, and then walk toward her, I dragged her with me to the bathroom, we both took our clothes off and stood under the shower, where the water could hide our whispers.
“In one week, she’s coming back, we’ll have to open a door for her, but she’ll do it, we can’t talk about it, we can’t mention it, the walls have ears,” I whisper to her, as we finished our shower and went out.
We got ready for bed, and we slept in the same bed she had to sleep in for a while along, I played with her hair and listened to her talk about her staying in there, she told me a bit about her father, and how she used to live.
“When this whole thing is over, I’m doing a second wedding for you,” I say still playing with her hair.
“I want a beach wedding, I want it to be a big wedding, no, I want a small wedding, but I want a dress this time,” she says making me chuckle.
“And you need a new ring,” I say kissing her now empty fingers.
“I hated my old one,” she confesses.
“I’ll get you something better, actually I got something better, but I’ll leave it for our wedding,” I say holding her tight.
“Fine, but if it’s ugly, I’m not scared to tell you off anymore,” she says making me laugh out loud, let the walls hear us, we’re going to have a big wedding and he’s not invited.
