Simon POV.
I had the best sleep of my life, it’s been very long since I had this good of a sleep, Sophia, my Saint, my Lil-sinner, she’s sleeping right here in my arms. She was even snoring, I don’t think she has ever been this relaxed in my arms and I loved it, I was happy to have her so happy in my arms, I kissed the top of her head, a kiss that’s a sign of love and support, one that I don’t do often.
I was happy to stay in here, in the bed with her forever, now that she was asleep, I could tell how young she is, she might be hundred years old, but she looks young, she looks like a young adult, one that’s just stepping into the real adult world. Last night she called me a monster, but then said that she met the real ones, what did Elijah do to her, why would she think he’s much worse than me?
I’m a badass, I know I’m a terrible person, I killed a lot of people, I hurt others, and I didn’t give a fuck about any of those, but the girl laying next to me, I can’t even get myself to do anything that would hurt her or leave a mark, it’s one thing to spank her and it’s another thing to whip her with chains.
“Simon, I want coffee,” she says her eyes still closed, remember my last thought about not hurting her, it doesn’t include slapping her naked ass to teach her some manners.
“Is that how we ask?” I scold her like a child, making her giggle, both eyes still closed, she could pass for a girl who just celebrated her eighteenth birthday, just a child, but she’s been through a lot, I knew that much, she met the real monsters out there.
“Can I please have coffee?” she asks, and I slapped her ass again.
“Hey, what’s that for?” she asks opening her eyes now, looking at me with those brown eyes.
“I love spanking you,” I say with a chuckle, but she can have her coffee.
“Spanking me comes with a price, I want coffee,” she says making me laugh out loud, she got demands now.
“Go get ready for the day, we’ll have coffee afterwards,” I say, letting her out of bed.
“You want to save water?” she calls out making me laugh, I think I created a monster of my own.
“Always,” I assured her getting out to join her in the shower, we didn’t do much, she was sore after last night, but I got to hug her, and kiss her under the water, tonight if she’s feeling it I’ll show her other ways to make love.
“I can’t wait to have coffee,” she says as we both got dressed.
“Sophia, you’re a blood vampire and not a coffee vampire,” I remind her.
“Right, right, blood, can I have that in my coffee?” she asks making me laugh, she’s funny too.
“No, let’s go,” I say holding her hand and walking out toward the kitchen.
“Thanks a lot for the ride boss, we had to crash over in the club, none of the men were available to pick us up,” Lucas says as soon as he saw me in the kitchen.
“Weird, glad you enjoyed your night,” I say with a smile, I might have a slight hand to do with that.
“Why does Saint have that colour on her face? What happened?” Lucas asks reading Sophia’s face, I’ve been staring at her pink face since last night, I think I got used to it.
“Nothing, coffee boss?” she asks, shifting the topic off her.
“Yes,” I answer Saint and get to make us breakfast, it was a regular morning, or as regular as our morning could get.
We even sat down to eat like the messed up family that we are, that until there was a knock on my door, it was hardly eleven am, and no men of mine would come over this early, we hardly slept last night, and our days only start in the afternoon really.
“I’ll get the door,” Lucas says getting up and moving there, I heard him open the door, and then it was quiet, two sets of footsteps walked back toward our kitchen. We all turned around to see who was there with Lucas, and surprise-surprise, it was Elijah.
“Elijah, what are you doing here?” I ask him through gritted teeth, he wasn’t welcome in my house.
“I’m not here for you, I’m here for my daughter,” he says the words sounding like poison, eyes locked on my wife.
“Lord,” she says the words filled with fear, this wasn’t my strong Lil-sinner, this wasn’t my wife, she sounds like the lost vampire I first met in my club scared after she had a blackout.
“Why are you in my house, we agreed on me working with her, and she’s here with me now,” I say standing up, hiding her behind me.
“I need to talk to her and AJ, now move out of my way,” he says, looking me dead in the eyes, the only good thing about vampires is that they have manners, they’ll always repsect their manners.
“AJ, take Saint and go wait in my office,” I order him, they both turned to their lord waiting for permission, he only nodded and they both left the room.
“What do you need them for?” I ask him.
“I need to have a chat with them,” Elijah says.
“Elijah, this is my house, they are under my protection,” I remind him, of the rules of being over my place.
“No harm would come to them, I assure you, thank you for your warm welcome,” Elijah says.
“You’re welcome, let me show you the way,” I say showing him off to my office, I didn’t stand outside the office to hear them, there were other ways to listen to their chat.
