Love?

Simon POV.
I stayed quiet, I just told her that I love her, and I don’t know how she’ll react to that, what if she only thinks of this as some sex, and job for Elijah. Maybe I’m better off pretending to be asleep, maybe I shouldn’t say anything, should I hold her? I never hold anyone after sex, but I hold her every night while we sleep together, is this the same, and why the hell am I overthinking?
“Boss,” she whispers after a couple of minutes, she’s been so quiet, I thought she fell asleep.
“Yes, Sophia?” I answer her.
“I think I’m falling for you as well,” she says in a whisper, but then she went back to being quiet, not adding anything else.
“You can call me Simon, in private, when it’s just the two of us,” I say, I don’t allow anyone to call me by my name, well except Lucas and maybe her, in private.
“Okay, Simon, I think I love you,” she says, I turned to her, her face was just as red as it was when we had sex.
“And I think I love you too,” I agree with her, I think I fell for her.
“How?” she asks moving to the side, hiding her body with the blanket, I had no idea what she was hiding, I saw it all, I touched it all, I licked it all.
“How? What?” I ask her, not understanding what she means.
“Why me? Lucas said you don’t love anyone, AJ said you killed people before,” she says and I chuckled, she means the facts that she heard from the girls in the club.
“You mean why I fell in love with you?” I repeat her question, I don’t even have an answer to why I’m in love with her.
“Yeah, that why me?” she repeats the same words again.
“When I saw you, I didn’t see a scary vampire who attacked a customer without a second thought, I was worried that I’m gonna have to kill you, but then I came over and I saw you, I saw those eyes,” I say touching her face, making her blush again, I knew she was different from that moment.
“Good thing you haven’t killed me,” she says with a small smile making me laugh.
“I’m really happy that I didn’t kill you, we wouldn’t have been here,” I say.
“Mhm, and we had sex,” she whispers the last word.
“Yes, the first time is never that good, wait till we do a second round,” I say kissing her neck and making her moan and move.
“Where are you going? I want my kisses,” I say still going on kissing her, until I decided to give her back the favour she did earlier.
“Hey,” she whines, as I bite her neck, just a little bit.
“What? You bite me first,” I say, still biting her neck, then licking the spot I bite, making her moan.
“Stop it,” she whines, and this time I do let her go, this is her first time, she can have a pass, but only tonight.
“Fine, did you like what we did?” I ask her, I never doubt my experiences, but I want to check on her, make sure she’s all good.
“Yeah, it was good, I get why people do it,” she says still blushing making me smile.
“Yeah, it’s fun,” I agree with her, a smile on my face, I kept on playing with her hair, seeing her whole body relaxing in my arms.
“Sophia,” I say getting her attention now.
“Hmm?” she answers me, her eyes starting to close, she’s ready to fall asleep.
“Why did you leave me?” I ask her, why did she leave back then, and what happened to her?
“I… I…” she says looking down to my chest, avoiding my eyes.
“Yes, you, what happened back then?” I ask her.
“I was told that you kill the women you talk to, and then we were good, I thought that life with you was good. And then I went out on a walk, a stupid walk, and you changed, you became heartless, I thought you were a monster,” she says, she’s right, I was a monster.
“I might be a monster, but I’m only like this when someone betrays me,” I confess to her, it’s sex talk, and I’m being very honest with her right now.
“I’ll never betray you,” she promises me, and I believed her.
“What did you see?” I ask her, meaning when she was out without me.
“I thought you were a monster, but you’re not even near the real monsters I really saw,” she says.
“Hey! Don’t you underestimate me,” I warn her in a teasing tone, I knew there are much worse monsters than me, but she had to deal with them to find that out.
“You’re my big bad monster,” she says with a giggle.
“Hey, don’t you dare laugh at me,” I warn her, but I was still playing.
“Big very scary monster,” she says now laughing out loud at me.
“Get some sleep, Lil-sinner, I think the sex got to your head,” I say with an eye roll.
“Fine good night big bad monster,” she says holding me, and I hugged her back, both hands going around her holding her.
“Night,” she says with a yawn ready to sleep.
“Love you wifey,” I say with a happy sigh, deciding to do one quick online purchase before I sleep, I knew she’d either love it or hate me for it, but in both cases, she’s gonna wear it.
