Chapter 1068

“What happened?” Sylvia slightly furrowed her brows. “Jasper, what’s going on?”
“Evie is missing!” Jasper explained how he had gone to handle the discharge paperwork and returned to find Evie gone.
Sylvia was momentarily stunned. “That child… really knows how to worry people.”
She sighed. “Her childhood was unfortunate, and she was tormented and humiliated by the Anto Family in various ways. So, she has always lacked confidence and is very sensitive. She might not want to burden you… I have a suggestion for you…”
Jasper felt a pang in his heart. “Please, tell me.”
Especially when he thought about the treatment Evie received from the Anto Family, it made him so upset that he wished he could destroy the Anto Family.
“You should try to get her pregnant again as soon as possible. It could help her build confidence.” Sylvia chuckled, thinking the idea was a bit harsh. “She might have gone to Middle Evroya… Based on my understanding of her, she might want to help Isabelle with the children. You can try intercepting her at the airport first, and if you can’t find her there, then head to Middle Evroya.”
“Alright, thank you, ma’am.” Jasper hung up and immediately contacted his brothers to start searching.
Sylvia shook her head helplessly. “Evie is really something.”
Mollie looked puzzled. “Is Evie still insecure? She seems so lively and cheerful, not like someone who lacks confidence.”
“Some people’s insecurities are deep-rooted and not visible on the surface.” Sylvia thought of Evie’s thin face. “I have something to take care of; I need to go out for a while.”
With that, she grabbed her phone and walked out.
She drove her BMW out and kept calling Evie on her phone, but couldn’t get through.
By the time she reached the airport an hour later, having rushed as much as possible given the distance from the city center, she still hadn’t found any sign of Evie.
Just as she was getting anxious, she heard a familiar voice behind her. “Ma’am!”
It was Jasper.
“Did you see Evie?” Sylvia turned to ask him. The man shook his head. “No.”
He had brought over ten brothers with him, but they had searched the entire airport without finding Evie.
“She either hasn’t arrived yet or has already boarded a plane.” Sylvia frowned. “I’ll contact someone in Middle Evroya. If she’s gone back, you can head over there.”
“Alright.” Jasper nodded. “I’ll keep searching elsewhere.”
They split up again to continue their search.
Meanwhile, Evie was already thirty thousand feet in the air.
She had bought her ticket while still in the hospital and left secretly while Jasper was handling the discharge paperwork, heading straight to the airport.
By the time Jasper realized and tried to catch up, she was already on the plane.
Her small face still showed signs of exhaustion as she gazed at the fluffy white clouds outside the window, feeling an immense weight in her heart.
She felt unworthy of Jasper and the love from the Gibson family.
Jasper deserved better. Rather than dragging him down, she thought it best to leave first.
But why did her chest hurt so much?
She slowly closed her eyes, and two lines of tears silently fell.
The plane continued its flight when suddenly there was a severe turbulence, causing screams throughout the cabin.
Evie was startled but then heard a sweet voice from the flight attendant. “Hello everyone, I am the chief purser of this flight. The plane encountered turbulence, so please don’t be afraid. The turbulence will soon pass…”
As she spoke to reassure everyone, another violent jolt hit the plane, causing some children and elderly passengers to scream uncontrollably. Some timid women also clutched their heads and screamed, “Oh my God! This is terrifying!”
“What’s happening?”
“What are you doing?”
During the turbulence, two black men suddenly appeared out of nowhere, holding knives with wicked smiles on their faces. “Hand over your valuables!”
Evie’s eyes widened in disbelief. What? She had just managed to get on a plane to escape, only to encounter a hijacking? Her luck was unbelievable!
She wondered how these men got through security with weapons.
Ridiculous!
As she was in a bad mood, one of the black men approached her first, seeing her small stature and young beauty. “Quickly, hand over your money, or my brother and I will enjoy you right here in front of everyone!”
One of them even reached out with his black hand towards Evie’s fair neck. Evie sneered and slapped his hand away forcefully. “Sorry, I’m broke! Want money? None. Want my life? I have one!”
“But I doubt you two trash have what it takes to take it!”
Everyone on the plane gasped in shock. What was this tiny girl saying?
Was she not afraid of death? How dare she provoke these hijackers?
The two black men were also taken aback by her tough demeanor and sharp words.
They looked at Evie’s small frame and face again and couldn’t help but laugh. “You’d better be sensible; we have knives!”
“Bang!” A loud noise!
Before anyone could react, one of the black men was punched by the small girl and slammed into the cabin door!
Everyone was stunned!
The other black man was also shocked!
While they were still in shock, “Bang!” Another loud noise! The other black man was also punched into the cabin door by Evie, grimacing in pain alongside his companion.
This…
The scene was surreal; almost everyone widened their eyes in disbelief, questioning their own vision.
What did they just see? A tiny girl knocking down two big black men?
The two black men struggled to get up and tried to rush at Evie again, but she stood up from her seat and approached them. With swift kicks, she knocked them down again!
They refused to give up, got up again, only to be beaten by Evie repeatedly.
After three or four rounds of this, they finally passed out.
“Clap-clap-clap-”
A slow clap came from not far behind Evie.
Annoyed, Evie turned around to see another black man holding a gun pointed at a three or four-year-old child’s head. The man sneered at Evie. “You’re quite capable, aren’t you? Let’s see if you can save him from me.”
The child turned pale with fear and burst into tears.
His parents were already terrified and fainted, kneeling before the black man begging for mercy. “Please let him go; he’s only four years old! Please!”
“Begging me? You should beg this woman instead!” The black man was extremely arrogant.
At this point, the flight attendants, pilots, and crew members were all too scared to move, fearing any action might provoke an irreversible disaster.
Evie’s face tightened as she coldly stared at the gun in the man’s hand. The dark barrel seemed ready to fire at any moment, ending an innocent life.
“Let him go; I’ll be your hostage.” Evie raised her hands and spoke calmly.
“Take off your clothes and walk towards me.” The black man leered at her petite yet curvy figure as if she were already standing naked before him.
“Alright.” Without hesitation, Evie began unbuttoning her clothes. Her coat fell off, revealing a black sweater underneath. She took off the sweater too, leaving only a tank top.
The tight tank top accentuated her figure even more strikingly. Her fair skin contrasted sharply with the black tank top, making her look even more eye-catching.
Her black jeans hugged her straight legs perfectly, and she wore a pair of combat boots-she looked incredibly cool!
Step by step, she walked towards the black man until she stood right in front of him.
“Let him go!”
The black man tossed the child aside and pointed his gun at Evie’s forehead. In a commanding tone, he humiliated her. “Kiss me!”
Facing the gun barrel, Evie smiled. After confirming the child’s safety, in an instant!
She swiftly grabbed the man’s wrist and yanked it hard with a cracking sound!
The man’s arm was dislocated!
“Bang,” the gun fell to the ground.
A quick-thinking flight attendant crawled over to pick up the gun.
The black man didn’t expect Evie’s reaction to be so fast and skilled; he screamed in pain. “Ah! I’ll kill you!”
He tried to grab the gun, but Evie was faster. She stepped on his back, making him scream like a pig being slaughtered.
“Think you can handle me?” Evie sneered and kicked him towards his companions; he passed out too.
The flight attendants and crew quickly rushed over to tie up all three hijackers.
Surviving a disaster!
Almost all passengers on the plane breathed a sigh of relief; some cried with joy, some cheered happily, some hugged each other and laughed…
The captain personally came over to thank Evie. “Thank you for saving everyone on this plane.”
“Thank you!”
Passengers also expressed their gratitude one after another. “You’re so brave.”
“How are you so amazing?”
“Oh my God! That was incredible; I recorded it!”
“I’m going to post it on social media!”
“I can’t believe she’s so powerful!”
