Christopher POV.
“You can’t kick Paul out of the programme,” Hazel tells me, she was quick to defend him, he’s the youngest in the bunch, and the only dominant he got interested in him is Hazel, she’s more than interested, she applied to be his mommy, I can’t break her heart. We are a family here, she’s part of the pack, of the company, and I shouldn’t punish a pup for shifting, they do it when they are worried, scared, and overwhelmed.
Now imagine a little who’s all of those, and sitting between other people, other doms, and littles, I allowed her to go and follow him. Although he’s a pup, he’s still strong, and he can hurt her in case she pushed the wrong button, but thankfully we didn’t hear any kind of screams or yells or calls for help.
“I won’t kick him out, but you need to keep him under control,” I answer Hazel, we’re back in the office, she’s not in any shape to take care of the rest of the littles, instead I had to pull her to the side, as I had to do with Katie and DJ the other day when Katie threw a tantrum.
The program was going very well, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have any kind of tantrums thrown, toys were thrown around, littles falling sick, mostly Katie and Bambi since they are the only humans, but even the young pups could get sick as well.
“Do you think she’ll manage to calm him down, he’s never pushed me away before, he’d just cry and cuddle closer to me, not push me,” she says on the verge of tears, I didn’t want Hazel to cry.
“Hey, it’s fine, it’s how the little one copes with everything, it’s a break-in for him,” I assure her, every little act differently, but they all are little in the end and they’ll come back in for hugs and loves soon.
“I think that’s them,” I say hearing footsteps coming toward the office, they’re not that light on their feet, I was ready to hold Bambi again, I can say I need to check her fever and check if she’s okay, but in reality, I want to hold her, I haven’t held her since the morning, and that’s way too long for a possessive person like me.
“Hey…” Hazel says going toward the door, ready to welcome her little back in, but it wasn’t Bambi and Pauly who came in through the door.
“I’m back bitches!” a guy says, holding an AK-47, a machine gun, and he’s standing now in my office, when he smiled, I could see the fangs, a vampire, vampires don’t come in our company, they don’t love or stand Thalia since her stunt with them so long ago, but they could hold a grudge, and they don’t forget.
Although I’m immortal, we live for a very long time, and although we don’t die that easily, and we could heal, but a gun like this, it would kill us if they hit us in the wrong spot, a bullet to the head or heart, it would be a deadly hit. Bambi and Katie can’t be near the gun, they don’t have any of the healing powers we have, and they are ours to protect.
“Hey,” I say standing up right away, I know this guy, I kicked him out from the program, and now he’s back for revenge.
“You thought you could kick me out, didn’t you,” he says, I didn’t even know he was a vampire, why did a vampire join our company, they all hate us.
“You should leave,” I say in a calm voice, I’m not using my dominant voice with him, I’m trying to get him to leave with the least amount of damage possible.
“Leave? I just got here, it’s time to play,” he says shooting the ceiling of the room, hitting the light, making the office go darker, and he starts laughing, he looks to be high or drunk, but how did he manage to get here, we have security, I know my own brother takes care of the security over here.
“What do you want? Money?” I ask him, I need him to stay away from the little, from everyone, they must have heard the shot, the whole company is filled with cameras as well, security should be coming in soon, but there’s no one here yet.
“No, I don’t want your filthy money, but I’ll take your heart and all the littles you have around here,” he says, I can’t let him have any of his demands, not the littles of course.
“We can’t give you those, how about we take a seat and talk this through?” I suggest to him, but he lifts the gun and places it against my head, I don’t have any of my regular weapons on me, nothing, I can’t shift and bite his head off. Instead, I had to hold both my hands up, showing him I mean no harm, I can get him whatever he wants, as long as we get away from the little and this whole department now.
“Tell me something, how did you get here?” I ask him, I wasn’t any kind of danger toward him now, I’m just trying to talk to him, trying to stall him as long as possible, to give the guys I trained to get their arses over here and save me.
“How I got here, that wasn’t so easy, you know,” he says, I wanted to smile and tell him I know, I worked on the security.
“But you managed to?” I ask him, I only shifted my body slightly, shifting my fingers at Hazel telling her to get out of here.
“I had someone to help me in here,” he says with a chuckle, of course, he didn’t come in here without help, does that mean we have a traitor in our land.
“But this is a very big company,” I say, “How didn’t you get lost,” I say, he found our department.
“Don’t worry, I could find you,” he says with another crazy laugh, he was too busy laughing, I tried to push the gun out from against my forehead, but he was quick to recover, he pulled the gun back up, and hit me on my head with it hard.
“Oh, you think you can get me talking until your man come over?” he says, while I spat out the blood.
“No one is coming! Get up,” he says the gun pointed to the back of my head this time, pushing me out of the office.
“Time to call everyone in,” he says, it’s been over the six minutes limit they need to get ready and be here, he was telling the truth, my men aren’t coming, we’re screwed.
