Bambi POV.
“I’m here to borrow my friend,” Colin says to Christopher, he and Lilly were both standing in the little department.
“Borrow her?” Chris answers them raising their brow up.
“Yes, borrow her for the day, or I can call mommy,” he says, is he trying to threaten Christopher, I don’t think that would work with him.
“Are you threatening me, little boy? Why don’t we go and get your mommy? I can tell her about your new attitude,” he says making Colin take a step back, I would be scared as well.
“I’m not… I mean… mommy got work to do!” he says quickly, trying to get out of the trouble he’s too soon to get in.
“Then better watch that tone, you want the little deer, ask politely,” he says.
“Can I please, please borrow Bambi, she’s been in the company for so long, and I want to get to the park with her,” he says, before adding another “Please!” with his significant puppy eyes.
“Who’s taking you?” he asks him since Colin said that the alpha is busy.
“Petter will,” he says with a smile.
“Really? My brother is?” he asks, making my mouth fall open, he’s brother with big bad Peter, I know that Peter is Thalia’s personal assistant, driver, and security, he even stays at her places sometimes, but I had no idea that he’s related to Chris, and from my knowledge of the supernatural, that’s a big thing, he’s very high in the food chain in the pack and company.
“Mhm, you know daddy likes to take me to the park,” Lilly adds, she is Peter’s little as well.
“Really? Because last time he took you there, you ran away from him and I heard he tanned your bum in the park,” he says making Lilly blush, and I never knew she’d blush!
“We love our relation out in the public,” she says with a shrug, making me smile, she’s so sassy, she’s worse than Katie.
“You want to go little deer?” he asks me this time, I really wanted to go with them, and I nodded my head yes.
“Then go sweetie, behave and have fun,” he says, I ran to my room to get my purse, I don’t use my phone around here, but I’ll take it while going there.
“Come on,” I tell my friends, but they kept giving me looks on the way out of the company, to the black car, Peter was driving giving us privacy in the backseat.
“What up with you and Christopher?” Lilly asks me, I just shrug, nothing up, he’s my boss, and that’s all.
“Come on talk Bambi, why are you hiding things from me?” Colin asks me, but I’m not hiding things.
“I’m not hiding things, there’s nothing to talk about, he’s my boss, and I just want to move on with my life,” I answer them for real.
“That’s it?” Lilly asks raising a brow at me.
“Yeah, that’s it,” I say what else do they expect from me?
“But he’s hot, and he got some of daddy’s genes, you should know he’s really good, at like… everything!” Lilly says I would blush, but Colin blushed instead, and that was funny enough for me to laugh instead.
“You can be a little as well, you know being little is the best thing in the whole world,” Colin assures me, he’s a little, of course, he’d say so.
“I know, but I don’t know if I’m ready for this, not yet,” I say my mother’s death, my old work, my new life, that all took a big impact on me and I wasn’t ready for anything yet.
“You got to move on Bambi, you’re the strongest girl I know,” Colin says making me smile.
“And what about your mommy?” I tease him.
“Mommy is a badass, you’re a strong girl,” he says.
“Nope, you’re a strong bitch!” Lilly says out loud a bit too excited about it.
“Lilly, I’ll drive you back to the company,” Peter scolds from the driving seat, clearly hearing her.
“Sorry,” she says, I can’t believe that Lilly apologises or blushes, but I guess Peter is a bad guy.
“We’re here,” he says parking the car and letting us three out of the car, Colin was ready to take off, but I held his hand back, while Peter had to pick Lilly up.
“The weather ain’t that good, we’re only staying for a little while, stay where I can see you, he warns the three of us, I didn’t mind obeying him, he scares me and I want to stay on alpha Thalia good side.
“We will,” I promise for the three of us, I even added puppy eyes to get Lilly out of the dark.
“Go,” we take off running to start playing, we started with my favourite of all games the swings, Peter had to push all three of us taking turns, and the cold air was hitting my face, it felt like a great change from being locked in the company the whole time.
“What do you wanna play next?” I ask them, although we do play in the company, but it’s also my job to keep Pauly entertained, and he’s just a baby and doesn’t do much of the running around or playing with the big toys, If I ever become a little I’m one to be on the older side, I like playing and running a lot!
“Wanna play tag?” Lilly asks, and I nod, I wanna run.
“I’m in,” I say, tagging Colin first and starting to run away from him giggling, he took after me, the little thing got faster, I don’t know what Thalia is feeding him, but I’m doubting its steroids.
“You’re it!” Colin yells and runs away from me, I took after Lilly, but I was quickly reminded she is a wolf, and supernaturals are always faster than humans. I went back to running after Colin, he was my better chance of winning, I also got him, but that’s when I felt something fall over my nose, I ignored it, but then it hit again, over my head, then over my arms.
“It’s raining,” I say stopping in the middle of the park on the verge of tears, this is going to ruin my game.
“So?” Lilly says standing next to me now.
“We can’t play in the rain,” I tell her, my mother never allowed me to play in the rain.
“Who said so, come on,” she says, I looked at her with the biggest smile on my face ever, and she was so close to me as well.
“You’re it!” I yell and take off running under the rain, it felt amazing!
