Bambi POV.
“Bright and early,” I say to myself, I was up and ready to get to work, a job that I can do, I can spend time with littles, I can do paperwork, true I never graduated high school, but I spent a lot of time around smart people, around people who only talked about their business, it feels like I graduated business school without even going.
I tried to look sophisticated, I tried to look good, it’s a job interview, or maybe I got the job, but I still need to look good for the job, alpha Thalia won’t allow one that looks like shit to work for her, that’s for sure. I know what their company do, it sells all and any kind of BDSM related, and things medical related, but it also plays matchmakers, littles or any kind of subs could go to the company and find their other half, by training under the company.
I wish I could go and apply for being a little or a sub, or anything, but that costs a lot of money, more than I have, maybe working with them would be enough, enough for me to learn a little bit about them, about how to act like them, and maybe finally find someone who’s right just for me.
But who am I kidding, I’m dreaming way too much, I can’t keep on dreaming, no one wants me, who’d want used goods, I’m just an old toy, no one would pick me up, never again.
But for now, I’m good with just being a worker there, making enough money to keep myself afloat without having to get back to the old ways, I’m dressed in a skirt that’s long enough to cover my bum for a change, along with one of my best blouses and my low heels.
I left the house and started the walk toward the bus stop, I got called some bad words, I’m always called that, ever since they found out what my job was, noticing the cars picking me up, noticing my work time, they could find out what I’m working. I ignored them all, let them come and try to live my life, try to provide for your mother, try to survive, you’ll do just the same without a second thought.
The bus was far away, but I managed to walk over, I had to sit on the bus and wait until the very long drive was over, I hate the bus, it smells off, and people were looking at me all funny some even whispering bad words about me. Some knew me back from the human district, it’s not very big, every town and continent got a human district, not many of us are alive any longer, but the ones that are, we’re all over the place. And most of us know each other, in return they know me and know what my old job used to be, finally after forever, it was time for me to start the walk toward the company, no bus would stop in front of a company this big, I had to take a deep breath and walk in the company, only to be stopped by security, I wasn’t worried or scarred like Colin was feeling on his first day.
“Hello, I got a job interview,” I tell him in a calm voice, waiting for him to allow me to get in.
“With whom?” he asks me in a firm voice, but he didn’t scare me, I dealt with worse than him back in my days.
“Alpha Thalia Rannulf, call her if you want,” I say with a confident smile on my face, she didn’t say to get over here, the security didn’t seem to have believed me, he took his phone and called someone before allowing me in finally.
“Hello, I got an apointment with alpha Thalia Ranulf,” I tell the receptionist, and she does some call of her own before allowing me in.
“The last floor,” she says, and I nod walking toward the elevator, I clicked on the last floor and waited for the elevator to take me up.
“Hi Lillie,” I tell my friend and the alpha’s assistant she must know I’m coming, she smiled at me, and she even gave me a hug, I know her from all of our playdates along with Colin.
“I’m so sorry about your mother,” she says and I hugged her tighter.
“Thank you,” I say.
“The alpha is waiting for you,” she says leading me to a big wooden door, when did the alpha even make it here, she’s a really early bird.
“Good morning alpha,” I say standing in front of her desk, Colin wasn’t near her, instead he was standing next to the window, he jumped over to me to say hi, well to hug me so tight, almost making me fall with my high heels.
“Colin, come here,” alpha Thalia calls him, he let me go and I manage t stand up again, he went to sit in her lap.
“What are you doing here?” Colin asks me, didn’t she tell him?
“She’s here because I offered her a job,” the alpha answers him, he looks at me first, then at his alpha, a million emotions going through his mind and over his face until he finally landed on a happy face.
“She’ll be working like?” he asks with a wink.
“No, she won’t,” the alpha destroys his dream.
“Ohh…” he says, the face he gave me, I couldn’t help the smile that went over my face, he’s just so adorable.
“She’ll be working in the little department, I have your contract over here, please read it and sign it, I’ll give you an hour,” she says in her firm alpha voice.
“Okay,” I say taking the contract and going to sit on the sofa ready to read the contract, it said that I’ll be working in the little department as the head of the department assistant, a room would be provided for me, along with food and clothing. I’m forced to stay on campus until the training term ends, I’m also obliged to follow the rules of the department, and would be subject to discipline from the head of the department.
Any kind of dispute would be solved by the alpha, all parties of this contract are under the protection of alpha Thalia Ranulf and Moon and How company.
The contract didn’t seem to be bad at all, the only questionable part would be the discipline one, but having some money cut off isn’t the worse thing ever, I decided to sign it, there, I’m not an official employee of Moon and Howl company.
