Katie POV.
We kept on playing, it was really fun and we even managed to get William to sit on the ground and play along with us, he wasn’t very happy about it, but we managed to get him to play along with us, he groaned and whined at the fact that he’s a big bad vampire and he shouldn’t be playing a tea party, but he’s a very competitive man when we started playing race of the cars, he wanted to win, and I was on his side since I wanted to be on the winning side.
“That’s enough girl, really,” he says we have been playing for hours now.
“Nope, not enough,” I assure him.
“Mhm, not near enough,” Eve agrees with me, we need to play some more.
“Fine, you two can keep playing, I’ll go down and check on your dinner,” he says leaving the room, we play together for another hour before we’re called down for dinner.
We went down to the kitchen and took our seats, it wasn’t William the one who cooked us dinner, instead, it was one of the many chefs he had around the place, but he stood with them and made sure they cooked the food the way he wanted it to.
“Take your seats,” he says and serves both of us our food, mine was cut into smaller bite pieces than mommy, and even then I struggled a bit.
“I’ll help you,” mommy says going to hold the fork for me.
“No, you eat, I’ll help the little angel,” he says smiling at me.
“Nu-uh, me Kitkat, Angel is my friend, she has two daddies,” I explain to him why he called me the wrong name.
“U know Angel, who doesn’t, we work together,” he answers me with another smile.
“She works for the school sweetie, along with her daddies, that’s why he knows her,” mommy explains next.
“I remember,” I answer her, I know that Angie has to be big a lot of the time for work, but she takes most of it out when she’s little, she’s the biggest brat ever.
“Open up,” William says feeding me my food, stuffing my mouth with too much food.
“Go slow, she’s gonna shock,” mommy scolds him.
“Sorry,” William says going slower and offering me some water.
“Who do we get here?” another voice asks coming into the kitchen, he was the opposite of William, but just as pretty as him.
“Uncle Dylan,” mommy says jumping up and hugging him tight, this must be the brother we share this place along with.
“Hey Evy, I knew that he would bring you back,” Dylan says hugging her tighter.
“Release my mate,” William growls from the other side of the room.
“I’m her uncle, I get to hug her, wait there’s two of them now, I get to hug them,” he says coming closer to me, swopping me in his arms as well, now he’s holding the both of us.
“Aren’t you going to say hello to your only and favourite uncle?” Dylan asked me and I blushed.
“Hello,” I say, looking at the guy with a blush on my face.
“Ahh, she’s so cute, how did my stupid brother manage to get you?” he asked me and the blush got even worse.
“He didn’t, she’s mine, but I’m nice enough to share,” Evelyn says to him with sass which made the both of us chuckle.
“I knew she wouldn’t fall for the big bad vampire,” Dylan says hugging me still.
“Would let them go now? They are having their dinner,” William scolds his brother.
“We’re gonna have a long and happy life, you gotta get used to this,” Dylan teased his brother.
“Let them finish their food, take a bath and then you can spend some time with them,” William answered him.
“Fine, you can have them until then, but no pulling bedtime bullshit on me, I need to have some proper time with them,” Dylan says in a firm voice.
“Sure, sure…” William says, they might be ancient vampires but they still fight like young siblings.
We finished our food and took our baths and then we finally got our chance to spend some time with my newfound uncle, I hardly knew him, but Evelyn did and she trusted him, so I trusted him too.
“So tell me more about you,” Dylan says to the two of us.
“Uncle Dylan you know me, but now I have a little one,” Eve says.
“Yeah, I do know you, but let me get to know the new girl,” Dylan says, turning his full attention to me.
“I’m Katie, I’m three hundred years old now,” I say proudly, I’m not a little girl anymore, I’m an older vampire.
“That’s so cool sweetie, and how old are you when little?” He asks me, making me go red, I turn to mommy, hiding my face in her neck, not wanting to tell him how old I’m really.
“She’s a little-little,” mommy says and Uncle Dylan does an Oh sound understanding.
“I don’t get to play with little-little often, I work in the police and most people I work with are big buffed bad vampires,” he tells me and I nod my head yes understanding what he meant.
“Oh, okay,” I say waiting for him to tell me more.
“And if I have to guess, then you were changed by Eve?” he asks me and I nod, she’s my mommy and the one who’s been taking good care of me my whole life.
“Yeah,” I say out loud.
“Tell me more about your life, what do you do?” he asks me.
“I live with mommy,” I answer him looking at her for help.
“We lived in the school since I was a teacher, she’s my student helper,” Eve explains to him.
“Wow a student helper, I never went to school, I had to take some courses online, but it’s nothing like going there,” he says.
“You should try going, they’d love to have you around,” I say giggling thinking of how the kids would love to have a piece of him, or try to get him to fall for them.
“Maybe if I get you to be there with me, I’ll go,” he says making me blush.
“I don’t know when I’m going back, but I’ll help you, are you a daddy?” I ask him.
“I am, along with other things,” he answers me.
“Oh, okay,” I say knowing that vampires can be more than one simple thing, and they could have more than one classification.
“I’m going to go check with daddy William, you okay staying here?” Eve asks me, looking at the upstairs.
“I’m fine,” I say not minding sitting with Uncle Dylan.
“I’ll be back,” she says kissing my cheek and running up the stairs, I turned back to Uncle Dylan who pulled me closer to him for a hug.
“Now tell me more about you, tell me everything, and I’ll tell you a million stories about them two,” Uncle Dylan says promising to tell me all their dirty stories.
“Uhm… I think one of your men dragged me in, back when you first took over, and then William was very mean to me,” I confess to him.
“Oh my god, my brother was mean, you don’t say,” he says with too much sarcasm that matched mine.
“Yeah, he’s very mean,” I say again and he chuckles.
“I knew it, you should have been brought to me, I like littles,” he says petting my head, it wasn’t an awkward way, and after years of being a little I’m used to the attention now.
“I wish,” I say, although I’m trying to be on good terms with William, that first memory never left my head.
“Katie, why are you with my brother?” he asked me in a calm voice, he could see the fear in my eyes.
“He’s with mommy, and I’m with her,” I answer him.
“That’s not an answer, I know Eve can manage to be with the both of you without you two being in the same house, so do tell me, why are you with my brother? He’s a scary vampire, he’s one that doesn’t give two chances and he’s a firm daddy, you’re way too young to be with him,” he says.
“I saw how happy Evelyn is around him, the way they act around each other, and they are too happy together,” I say the truth, they are so glad to be together, and that they have each other.
“She can still be happy, she can meet with him without telling you, she can do it at work, or when you sleep, I have multiple partners and they don’t always get along together,” Dylan explains.
“But I want her to be happy, and to be her, when she’s little, she’s different, she’s so happy and if her happiness means being around William then be it,” I tell him.
“But he scares you,” he says again, reminding me of why I didn’t like William much.
“He scares me, but Evelyn trusts him, and I trust her, I’ve been trusting her for more than three hundred years, and during those days she never hurt me, I’ll have to get over my hate, he’s not as bad as I thought of him to be,” I say, I’m telling him too much, but I had to say those words out loud so I could think out loud.
“That’s some big words coming from a little-little, I’m guessing you’re under two,” he says and I smile.
“I am, but I’m also three hundred years old,” I say with a knowing smile.
“You’re right, you’re one hell of a catch, if you get bored with my brother, you can spend some time with me,” he says with a wink and I nudge him on the shoulder.
“Nah, I think I’ll stay there with them,” I say with a small smile.
“You have one hell of a big heart, so cute,” he says hugging me tight, making me giggle, he kept on petting my head which reminded me.
“Oh my god! We forgot Tiger!” I yell out loud, we have left my cat behind along with my other stuff, we didn’t bring anything with us, we just moved in here without further notice, without talking about it either.
