Katie POV.
“Now what?” I asked mommy, should I keep on calling her mommy? Or do I call her Eve when she’s feeling little, yesterday she was a little one, I know she was acting just like a little and she’s a very cute little, I enjoyed playing with her.
“What what?” she asks me.
“I mean what do I call you now? What do we do?” I ask her, not sure about our future anymore.
“You still call me mommy of course,” she says, looking at me with a firm look.
“But what about when you’re little? Do I still call you mommy? You don’t act like mommy then,” I say telling her why it didn’t feel right then.
“Right, you’re right, but you’re not going to see me in my little space often,” she says shaking her head at me, but why won’t I see her little ever again? Why would she hide that from me.
“Why mommy?” You can be little around me, I’ll take care of you,” I promise her.
“Kitkat, sweetie, we can’t both be little and be left without supervision, I’ll guide you into troubles instead of shielding you from them,” she says with a sigh.
“That would be fun,” I say with a giggle, she giggled too, she knew it would be very funny then.
“Do you want to go back to school?” she asked me, and I shook my head no, I didn’t want to go back to school, we’re having so much fun in here, it’s different than when we were there, it’s different than the days we had to spend in class.
“But it’s more fun to stay here, why do we have to go?” I ask her with a whine.
“Then what do you want to do little one?” she asks me next, I thought about it, what do I want?
“I want to stay here, for you to be little and have fun,” I answer her with confidence.
“I can’t be little sweetie, I explained why,” she answers me.
“You can’t be little without someone who’s old to look after you,” I say and she nods her head yes.
“I have an idea,” I say with an evil smile, after everything that I had discovered during our stay during this holiday, I have decided to do the smarter thing in here, mommy needs the help and I’m going to give it to her.
“Yeah?” she says hearing me out.
“We keep William,” I whisper to her and she chuckled, she actually laughed.
“What do we keep him in a cage and feed him like Tiger?” Mommy asks me.
“Well, we don’t keep Tiger in a cage, but it’s okay to keep William there,” I say remembering the fact that mommy called him daddy before, when she slipped, she called him daddy.
“Sweetie, if we keep William as you’re putting it, it won’t mean that he’ll be there just for me when I’m little, he’ll be there for the whole time, for when you’re little and big, he’ll be here for when you wake up and go to sleep, I can’t just tell him to stay on standby in case I slip,” she explains to me.
“Hmmm… mommy you know him from before?” I asked her, during the couple days that I knew him so far, he wasn’t that bad, he said that he’ll be my friend, he’s my mommy’s friend, but the way they act around each other, it feels like they knew each other for ages now.
“Yeah, I do, he’s the one who changed me into a vampire, he’s the one who was there for me when I first came to this world like this,” she answered me.
“Is he a good daddy?” I ask her, it’s been three hundred years, I’ve been looking for one but I never managed to find one that was good for me, never found the one who’d take the both of us in, I didn’t want to lose my mommy only to have him instead.
“He was the best, I’m not gonna lie, he’s the best daddy ever when it comes to playing, to a bedtime story, to going out, to even having food along. But he’s always busy, you know he’s our president, or the equivalent of one, and he doesn’t have all the time of the world like he wants to, he’d leave me alone to entertain myself for hours,” she says.
“But… but you’re not alone anymore, you have me,” I assure her.
“That’s correct my little one, I have you,” she says kissing the top of my head.
“Mommy, I have an idea,” I say again, deciding to go with it, we should do this, I want her to be happy, and I don’t want her to lose her chance of happiness.
“Go ahead, tell me,” she says again with a smile on her face.
“We keep William, he can be your daddy, and when he’s busy we stay together,” I say and she looks at me with a smile.
“I’m glad you came to this solution, ’cause I wanted to tell you something,” mommy says and I nod.
“We had a talk, we want to be both your mommy and daddy, that means we’ll both share you and you’ll share us, and as you said we’ll be here for each other when he’s not around, and we’ll get other’s help,” she says with a smile.
“Okay, that’s good we got a plan,” I say happily, that looks like a great plan.
“Yes, we got a plan baby, let’s go down and tell William about our plan,” she says.
“Shouldn’t you be saying daddy?” I tease her, my mommy has a daddy now, that’ll be fun.
“I will when I’m little but you have to say it most of the time,” she teased me, since I’m mostly in my little space, and rarely big.
“Hmmm… I’ll think about it,” I say teasingly again.
“Come on, let’s go tell him,” mommy says picking me up, we went down and joined William in the living room, Tiger soon found us and took his rightful seat next to us.
“We have decided,” mommy starts and I nod, we have.
“Yes?” he answer us.
“We have decided to keep you,” she says happily.
“Yup, you can be her daddy,” I say out loud.
“And yours,” he says raising a brow at me.
“You’ll have to ask me nicely, and I’ll think about it,” I answer him with an evil smile on my face.
“Can I be your daddy Katie?” he asks me, and I pretend to be thinking about it.
“What do you think sister? Do we keep him?” I ask mommy with too much sass.
“Yeah, you should, he’s a good one,” Evelyn says and I giggled, she knew we planned on keeping him since the moment we came down here.
“Okay, you can be my daddy,” I answer him and he sighs in relief.
“Let’s have some celebration breakfast, where do you want to go?” he asks us getting up, I wasn’t used to going places, we usually just stayed in the school.
“I don’t know,” I say blushing.
“Then I’ll pick, but promise you’ll love it,” he says guiding all of us out.
We all got in his car, I didn’t have to sit in the stupid car seat for once, instead, I sat all alone in the backseat, with the seatbelt on me, he drove us out of the whole farm area, and back into the city, I wasn’t sure where we’re going but I knew the ride was too long for me to stay awake during the whole thing, I soon fell asleep during the ride.
I woke up being moved, I looked at who was moving me and saw that William was installing a car seat next to me, and I was getting moved into it.
“What happened?” I ask them confused.
“We figured it’s best to get you safe while we drive,” Mommy says and I groan, I thought that I got away from the special seat.
“Where are we going?” I ask them next.
“Breakfast, more of a brunch, and then I’ll show you your new place,” William, I mean daddy William says, and I nod, if mommy was okay with this, then I’m okay with this as well, I trust her and I trust her judgment when it comes to William.
