NINTEEN.

Katie POV.
I woke up on the same bed as William, I looked at him and saw him deep asleep, snoring, I poked him in the face, and he woke up groggy, he looked at me confused and then remembered what happened last night and how we ended up here in the same bed.
“Wake up,” I whine, and he finally wakes up, he sits up and yawns looking at me.
“Why are you awake so early?” he asks me confused.
“Where’s mommy?” I ask him a firm voice, and he sighs, he gets up from the bed, yawning one last time before going to the bathroom, was mommy there? I got up too and followed him inside, I saw him peeing and I screamed, that was embarrassing, I turned my back to him and closed my eyes.
“You should knock or call first,” William explains to me.
“You done?” I ask him, still having my eyes closed and my back turned to him.
“Yes, I am, come here now,” he says pulling me up on the sink, he helped brush my teeth and wash my face, he offered to change me and change my clothes but I wanted mommy to do it.
“Nu-uh, mommy,” I say.
“Fine, let’s go find her,” William says picking me up, I yell first, he’s taller than mommy and when he held me I was much higher than when mommy does the same.
“How does it look up there?” he asks me going down the stairs, I could see another part of the house from up here.
“It’s good,” I say, enjoying the view from up there, I noticed that mommy had fallen asleep on the sofa, poor thing she must have been exhausted and fell asleep there.
“Morning Eve,” William says looking at her waking up groggy, she groaned and whined getting up, wrapped in a blanket she walked back upstairs to get ready for the day but what about me, I whined, needing to be changed too.
“Give her a second,” William says with a tight smile looking at her moving and groaning.
She didn’t come back after that, instead, we followed her back upstairs, she was laying on the bed head first, snoring, William chuckled at her and offered to change me again, and this time I agreed. He placed me on the bed near mommy and he sat on her other side, he played with her hair and I landed a kiss on her cheek.
“Hey, wakey-wakey,” William says waking her up.
“Tired,” she whines, she never whined about being tired around me, she always got up when I did but I guess she was too tired to get up.
“I’m going to cook breakfast though, don’t you want to eat?” he offers her trying to get her to wake up.
“Mommy, tell him to make us pancakes,” I whisper to her and she nods turning to William.
“We want chocolate pancake,” she says and he chuckled.
“You two are teaming up against me?” he asks and we both nod our heads yes, we were teaming up on him and it’s really fun to tease him.
“Fine, Eve, you still need to get ready to get your pancake, do you need help?” he asks her, she neevr need help, she usually help m and others but this is different I guess, she gets to be spoiled we’re on vacation.
“I can do it,” she assures him and walks toward the closet, she didn’t pick her usual clothing style, instead she went with something easy and flowy, just a pair of sweats, she styled her hair first into space buns and then offered to style mine, she did mine into two pigtails, we kind of matched and I really loved it.
“I’ll go get the pancake ready,” William says leaving the room we finished getting ready and then we both walked down, she didn’t try to carry me, she just held my hand.
“Smells good,” Eve says and I nod my head yes, it did.
“Come on,” I say taking a seat on the chair and she does the same sitting next to me, we were both served the pancakes, I offered Eve a bite from my plate and she took it happily, offering me one of her own.
“You two want milk?” William asks getting two cups of milk, a sippy cup for me and one with a straw for her, we both took took the cups happily and finished our breakfast.
“How was it?” he asks after we have eaten everything.
“Good,” I say nodding my head.
“Not too bad,” Eve says in a teasing voice.
“So what do you want to do today?” he asks us and I shared a look with mommy.
“Wanna play?” I ask her, she plays with me all the time and I only had Ethan to play with yesterday and although it was fun, I didn’t want to go out yet.
“Yes, of course,” she says excited to play with me, and she’s not even pretending to enjoy playing, she sat down on the floor with me and we played with my stuffies.
Mommy played with me for over an hour, she made the teddy move and talk making me giggle, I played the same way with her, I made my teddies move too, I made them dance around hers, and she giggled.
“You girls having fun?” William asks us, sitting down next to us.
“Mhm, mhm, Kitkat is the best little one ever,” mommy says ruffling my hair, she ruined the style that she had made for me, I looked at her with a pout and she blew a kiss at me. ‘
“What do you want to do next?” he asks with a smile, we could kep on playing here or we can play outside.
“We can play outside,” I suggest and mommy gets up holding my hand, I looked at William and he followed too.
“What do you want to play?” he asks now that we’re outside.
“Hide and seek,” I say excitedly about the game.
“You count,” Mommy says holding my hand and started to run dragging me with her as I giggled at the whole situation.
“One… two… three…” he starts as we took off, we hide behind a tree, but then mommy climbed up and helped me up.
I giggled as he started to look for us, mommy placed a hand over my mouth to shut me up, and I stayed quiet, he looked for us and he searched behind the trees, behind the rocks, but we were hidden very well up there.
“Girls,” he yells when he couldn’t find us, mommy giggled too, and that got his attention, he turned to us with big eyes, we giggled again.
“Found you,” he says and run toward us, he stood under the tree with a big smile on his face.
“Come down,” he says and we both shook our heads no, I didn’t know how to go down alone.
“Come down or I’ll go and get you,” he says and I looked at mommy, should we go down, she just giggled happily and kept on going up on the tree leaving me behind.
“Evelyn! Stop it,” he scolds, he got up on the tree and caught me first, he pulled me near his chest and turned to Evelyn.
“Nananana! Come and get me,” Evelyn says still climbing up.
“Evelyn, stop it, come down,” William says jumping down, putting me on the ground checking on me, making sure that I’m okay.
“Are you okay?” he asks and I nod looking at mommy, why is she so high up.
“Mommy, come down,” I say, wanting her to come down and play with me.
“You’re okay sweetie, stay here, I’ll go and get her,” he says kissing the top of my head, he jumped back up on the tree and got up to follow her, she giggled and yelled when he got near her, he pulled her by the arm and dragged her down screaming and crying.
“Mommy you okay,” I run to her with fear in my eyes.
“She’s fine Katie, she just didn’t like being brought back,” William says giving her a side hug, I looked at her with worry, she pouted at the fact that she was dragged here.
“Tell her you’re fine Eve,” he says.
“I’m fine Kitkat, don’t worry,” Mommy says hugging me tight.
“Come on let’s play another game,” William says guiding us back into the house, we took a seat down, he gave us two papers to draw and colour on them, we got the papers and started to draw, I decided to try and draw a wolf.
“What you’re drawing?” mommy asks me.
“Wowf,” I answer her with a smile.
“Nice, I’m drawing him,” she says nodding to William with a smile on her face.
“Coow,” I say keeping on drawing, I did my wolf and she did William.
“We show him?” she asks me as we were both done.
“Yeah,” I say nodding my head and getting up taking my paper with me.
“Daddy William look,” Evelyn says, and my eyes went wild at the name calling.
“Let me see girls,” William says with a smile on his face, he saw the drawings.
“Good job girls, that’s very good,” he says seeing the pictures.
“Thank you,” I say blushing.
“We should put them on the fridge,” he says turning to the fridge putting them on the fridge, hanging them both.
“Do you want to draw some more? Or watch some TV little ones?” he asks us next, he called both of us littles.
“TV,” Evelyn says excitedly, holding my hand again, and taking me toward the TV, she sat me down and turned a show on, it’s one that’s not my usual pick, it’s one my friends usually pick, my older friends, mommy doesn’t usually put those for me, she picks the one for younger littles, but not today.
“You mind if I watch with you?” William asks sitting next to me, I shrugged and he takes a seat near me, watching the show, whispering some explanation to when the show was too hard for me to understand.
