Annabella’s Point of View:
“Anyway, I will follow you, in case anyone tries to molest or bully you,” Mira stuttered as she looked at Megan, a grimace on her face.
Megan and I were surprised to hear her lame excuse, but I didn’t bother to reply to her, instead I told Megan to go with the flow.
As they were about to leave the house, there was a knock on the door, and before we could attend to it, the door was pushed open, and Millen entered, a pass card in her hand.
“Millen!” We were overjoyed, and we jumped on the confused looking lady excitedly. I held her arms, while Mira and Megan checked her body to see if she was injured.
“Humm, okay…” Millen stuttered, confusion written boldly on her face. “What is going on here? Are you girls drunk?” She asked with raised brows, wondering why we were being clingy towards her.
“Oh Millen, I thought I’d lost you,” Megan cried out with a melancholic voice and burst into tears. Mira folded her arms, looking at Megan with a funny look on her face, while I wrapped my arms around Megan’s waist to comfort her.
“Lost me? What is going on, girls? Is everything alright?” Millen asked with arched brows, and dropped her handbag on the chair, looking tired.
“Well, we couldn’t find you, so we thought something bad had happened to you!” Mira explained to Millen, whose mouth was wide open in surprise.
“Huh! You couldn’t find me? Seriously ladies, I remember clearly that I informed you I was going to meet you later.” Millen replied with a hoarse voice, and I suddenly remembered.
“Ohh, it escaped my mind. Anyway, how is Henry, and what took you so long?” I asked my little sister curiously, and she sighed sadly.
“It’s a long story,” Millen informed us as she took a seat. We also sat down, wondering what could have made our fearless queen worried.
“I just realize what the LGBTQIA people and supporters are passing through,” Millen began with a solemn voice. We didn’t make any comment, we just looked at her, wondering where she was coming from.
“I think I want to be an advocate for them, I want to create a large community to support and assist the helpless among them. We have the money sisters, we can do it.” Millen explained with a hushed voice, looking stressed and eager.
“Wo wo wo, calm down, milady. What actually happened? Were you bullied by anyone?” I asked with raised brows, and quickly went to her side. “Tell me the truth sister, what happened?” I probed her, and Megan and Mira supported me with their curious eyes.
“I wasn’t actually bullied, but Henry was….” Millen explained, and without finishing her sentence, she burst into tears.
This surprised my sisters and I, because Millen wasn’t the type to show her emotions, she was always discreet with it.
I hugged her and cleaned her tears with my hands. Megan and Mira also joined the moment. Millen was embarrassed, and she stylishly shifted away from our side.
“Whatever happened must have gotten sister Millen really sad. She is not the type to cry over anyone.” Mira whispered to Megan with a melancholic voice.
“I am so sorry, I think I scratched my eyes too much,” Millen lied, trying to clean her already cleaned eyes. I smiled at her, and tears began to roll out of my eyes involuntarily.
“Humm, then a bug must have entered mine,” I replied to her with sarcasm in my tone, and gently pushed Megan to her side, while Mira came to hug me.
“Please, take her to her room, and try to coax her to bed. If she tries to act elderly, you have my permission to discipline her,” I said with a playful tone, and Megan burst into laughter, when her laughter died down, she nodded her head at me, and turned to face Millen.
Millen looked like she wanted to be alone, but she knew it was impossible, so she shrugged her shoulders in agreement, and we kissed one another good night. They both left the sitting room, and Mira quickly poked my hand.
“But big sister, what could possibly be wrong with sister Millen? She has never acted this way before.” Mira said, looking at me with curious eyes.
“I don’t know, and I will do anything to know what happened. But don’t worry, let her get some rest, when she is ready to talk, we’ll listen to her,” I assured the last born in my family of six, and she nodded her head at me.
“Okay, I will go to bed then. Good night.” Mira’s sweet voice said to me, and I hugged her tightly before pecking her forehead.
“Sweet dreams. I love you.” I replied with a smile on my face, and gently patted her cheeks. We shared a quick smile, before Mira left for her room.
“Humm, being the first born to three sisters is one of the hardest jobs in the world!” I exclaimed and took a deep breath, before collapsing on the nearest chair.
My eyes landed on the hand bags which my sisters left on the chairs, and with a light growl, I stood up and picked each of the bags.
I wanted to make my way to my room, but the alcohol dizziness from earlier returned, and I nearly fell to the bare floor. I staggered all the way to my room, and flinged the bags on my bed.
“Urhh!” I sighed heavily, and fell to the bed like a log of wood. I looked at the ceiling for a while, wondering what I should do next.
Just when I was about to close my eyes and sleep, my phone’s notification bell rang, and I tiredly removed my phone from my bag.
I sluggishly scrolled through the internet, but on seeing one of the captions and the picture under it, my jaws dropped.
“Oh my gosh! Why is Amanda so thoughtless?” I yelled at the top of my voice in shock, and quickly sat up.
“How dare she post my personal picture without my consent? And why is Lee Eul bent on ruining my reputation and his?”
