NALEDI’S POV
Splash!
Luka was awakened by a bucket of sizzling hot water, filled with vervain. A smile graced my face at the sight of his red hot body, and horror-filled eyes.
“Rise and shine darling,” I said in a sing-song voice, feeling a wave of pleasure looking at his fear-stricken eyes.
“You! What are you? What have you done to me?” He struggled against the chains that held him bound. “Let me go!”
“Oh Luka,” I tutted, “I am only just getting started. Besides, we were having a lot of fun, aren’t we?”
“Is this about money? I have loads of it. I’ll give you anything. Name your price.” He said, breathing harshly, “Just let me go.”
I squatted a few feet from him, admiring the terrible state of his body. I must say Korah does wonders if given the opportunity.
How hadn’t I thought of this a long time ago?
“You mean the way you let go of the girls you kidnapped and trafficked?” An evil glint. “I don’t think so.”
“Why? Why are you doing this? Who sent you?!”
I didn’t like his tone. Humming a song underneath my tone, I headed towards the side of the dungeon and picked up an empty gun. Slowly, I filled them up with wooden bullets.
It’s about time to get the party started. I turned around, aiming for his chest, slightly towards the right side of his heart. This was going to be fun.
“You see, for the longest time, I wondered why I was keeping you alive. Why did I have to wait for the right time to take you down? Why must I go to the lengths of getting you to trust me before I got my revenge on your human trafficking rickety ass.”
I placed the silencer on my gun, and without a second thought, pulled the trigger.
“Arggghhh!!!!”
Luka yelled, shaky with pain and unable to help himself – Just like the women he imprisoned.
“And then I came to a conclusion.” I continued like I didn’t just put a bullet dangerously close to his undead heart. “I didn’t have to. I literally didn’t have to put up with your shit but I did anyways.”
I heard footsteps behind me and a smile graced my lips when I saw a replica of myself walk right in. I turned just in time to catch our dearest Luka looking between us girls with a bewildered expression.
“After I killed that woman in the cave and watched you ship innocent women to the Yakuza’s right underneath my nose, I figured there was nothing stopping me from getting rid of a scourge like you.”
“The Alpha is on his way, My lady.” A glamoured Korah said and I smiled.
I’d informed my dearest Alpha of the recent twists of events. I was hoping he could get here as quick as possible and catch a bit of the show.
“Do you think I can go down like this? I have people scattered all over the world. They would be searching for me and you don’t want them to catch a mere human like you,” He roared in pain, “Let me go and I’ll pretend this didn’t happen. I’ll let you live. Whoever you-”
The next second a smell of burnt flesh filled the air. With that smell came a shriek from Luka who was now on fire. Cheers to Korah standing beside me.
“It’s crazy how you still think I’m a human regardless of the fact I have long put away my shadow spell.” I snickered, “Believe me hunny, I am a lot more unhuman than you can ever be.”
Korah lit up his thighs and he roared in pain, his pains increasing.
“What exactly are you? How are you able to duplicate yourself!”
“Oh, you mean her?” I smirked, taunting him, “This is just Korah. My beautiful witch and fire elemental.” I introduced, while his thighs were ravaged with fire. “You see, I have a lot of witch friends. Some of which are experts in putting up glamours and hiding their true selves in order to get rid of scums like you.”
“And judging from the fact you fell right into my trap, I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of this sooner. Truly, all men, dead or undead have a weakness, I just needed some time to figure out I was yours.”
“Bitch!” He spat out blood, and the sight was a beauty to behold.
“Oh save it. You are going to need a lot of strength to stand what I have in store for you. I figured you needed to pay for your crimes before I inevitably launch you into hell.” I turned to Korah. “I want every single piece of his body burning.”
Marcus stepped into the dungeons and his timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I beat him to speak.
“Marcus, lovely timing!” I said, turning around, “While Korah roasts the life out of him, could you do him a favour and see to it that he doesn’t die? The last thing I need is for him to drift off before we get him to pay for the crimes he committed.”
“The Alpha is here.” He said in reply and I nodded,
“Great! The more the merrier, then.” I dropped my gun at the side of the dungeon and sat on a chair as I watched Korah, who was soon transformed into her real form, roast Luka alive.
“What a sight to behold.” Caellum’s voice found its way to my ears and I couldn’t decipher if he was in a good mood or not.
Regardless, I turned to the door like an excited toddler.
“Caellum! You are just in time, grab a seat and witness the downfall of Luka Donatello.” I said in a dramatic way and like expected, Caellum rolled his eyes.
Safe to say he wasn’t the most pleased in the room. But that’s fine. He was never a fun person to be around anyway.
“I think I am more interested in how you got him in your basement as a prisoner, mere hours after I told you not to do anything rash.” His tone was clipped, there and then I saw it.
Caellum was far from pleased.
