Because I have a lot to teach you

CAELLUM’S POV
Naledi dropped a tray of food in front of me.
I stared at the content, wondering what on earth it was.
“I hope you enjoy your meal, my lord!” She said, taking a seat on the dining chair beside me.
Our eyes met and I deadpanned. “What is this?”
“Dinner.” She said blinking like she didn’t know what she’d done.
I took a spoon and scooped its contents, taking a long good look at it.
“Is that?” My eyes narrowed and my nose scrunched, “brown soup?”
“I made a delicacy.” She purred, “Let’s call it Naledi’s special. Have a taste. I bet you’d love it.”
I dropped my spoon, shaking my head at her ridiculousness. “Are you trying to kill me?”
She sported an aghast look. “What? Of course not! That would be me breaking one of the set rules. You know I can’t do that.”
All her words reeked of sarcasm. Was this her way of rebelling against me? I gave her my best poker face.
“C’mon! Don’t be picky. I’m only doing my job. Have a bite.” She cringed when she looked at the soupy plate. “Or a drink.”
“Ha ha, very funny.” It wasn’t funny at all.
“That’s what you get when you have a woman who has never entered a kitchen make meals for you.” She shrugged. “It’s not my fault that I am incapable of serving in this department.” The words sounded rehearsed rolling off her tongue. “However, I can be very proficient, and borderline excellent in other areas.”
She got up, walking around me, “I know I’m good with a gun.” Her face appeared around me. “And I bet you know that too.” She stood in front of me and all I could see was her curvaceous body. “So let’s rid ourselves of this bullshit and get to the part where I get an actual job.”
Gone was the humorous look and in place was a serious one. That was fast.
I got up from my chair, done with the atrocity of a meal she prepared. I was having a hard time judging if she really didn’t know how to cook or just her bizarre attempt at making a point which was perfectly noted.
My lips stretched into a wicked smile. If she thought I was going to back down then she had another thing coming.
“Waiting on me has got to be the easiest job with an attractive pay.” I let my eyes descend on her body. “I still can’t wrap my head around why you hate it so much.”
Naledi looked like she had a stroke. “Why I hate it so much?” she chuckled. “I don’t remember saying that, my Lord.” She gritted, wearing a fake smile. “I was just concerned about your well-being. Seeing I am unable to serve your needs, I won’t be wicked to occupy this position when I’m not fit for it.”
I raised my eyebrows and let my fingers trail her face. Her beautiful oval-shaped face. For a brief moment, my eyes dropped to her lips. What I wouldn’t give to get another feel of its red goodness.
“Interesting,” I muttered, as an idea came to mind. “What if I told you I was willing to teach you all you need to know? To kit you up with the skills that makes for the perfect maid.” I gauged her reaction and my fingers trailed her lips. “What if I taught you what it takes to satisfy me?”
She swallowed, and as little as that action was, it stirred a desire within me. A desire to possess her. To claim her and take her in every possible way. Beginning from this table.
Our eyes met and the atmosphere was sizzled with tension. Unspoken words. hidden desires.
“I am more than willing to learn to satisfy you, Alpha.” She spoke in a tiny voice, void of sarcasm or attitude. I felt my member twitch at the submission in her tone.
This woman was going to be the death of me.
“Good,” I said in a low tone, our faces inches away from each other. “Because I have a lot to teach you.”
********
“Everyone out,” I ordered as soon as we got to the central kitchen.
I watched the staff bow their head in respect, the squirrelled out of the kitchen, leaving me with Naledi.
“You have a kitchen in your chambers,” Naledi said but I was too busy getting out Aprons.
“And?”
“I’d think that would be the best place to teach me whatever it is you have in mind.” I could tell she didn’t like this. It was clear from her whiny-scratchy tone.
“And stand the risk of burning up my chambers? No, thank you.” I hopped from one cabinet to the other, taking out the things I needed for a decent plate of macaroni.
“Ha, ha. Not funny. Word will spread.” She said, and I think I might have detected a hint of worry in her tone.
I turned around with a raised brow. “Word will spread?”
“That you are doing…”
“Doing what?” I pushed, trying to understand what she was getting at.
“This.” She gestured between us, “Me.”
I smirked, “Then they would be right. Because I have every plan of doing you.”
An exasperated look passed her face, “There’s no use.” She dragged a stool. “Let’s get to it. The earlier we get it over with, the better.”
“Good. Grab an apron and watch me closely,” I stepped between her legs, “Because I’ll only do this once.”
She took a deep breath and swallowed. “Good thing I’m a fast learner.”
Soon enough, we whipped a delicious-looking macaroni that made my stomach sing. More like I did while she watched closely, asking the most ridiculous questions.
At some point, I thought she was trying to get on my nerves, but I soon realised she was really just… clueless. That made me wonder just how many things she was clueless about, and how I wanted to be the one who walked her through that process.
“How is it?” I asked, watching her swallow the mouthful of macaroni.
Naledi’s eyes rolled over and she moaned. Yes. An actual moan.
My mouth stretched to a smirk. I needn’t any more affirmation.
“That good?” I asked when she delayed speaking.
“Don’t be modest.” she took a napkin and dabbed her lips. “I’ve tasted better.”
Now that was a lie. An obvious big fat lie. I opened my mouth to speak but got cut off by my phone ringing.
I raised my finger, “Caellum Morello.” I said in a brisk tone, one hand on my waist and the other holding my phone.
My face grew cold as I listened to the message for me. “I’ll be there soon.” I gritted and walked out of the kitchen with Naledi hot on my trail.
I got to my chambers, only to realise I was still on an apron.
“What’s up? What’s going on?” Naledi asked as soon as she got to my room.
I was in no mood for jokes. “I have to go. Arrange my clothes and clean up.” I shot orders, stripping my clothes.
“Tell me what’s going on, Caellum. Your clothes aren’t even messy.” She said in a tone I didn’t like.
My eyes turned red and I entered into my closet, ransacking every fucking item till it was piled in a huge fat mess.
“Well, now its messed up. Shut your big mouth and fucking get to work!”
