Stella POV.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Finn says coming into my room, he sounded very angry and furious, I looked at him confused, what is he talking about?
“Tell you what Finny?” I ask him with a raised brow, what is he talking about?
“You know what! How could you Stella! I’ve been worried about you! I’ve even told Mom we should look into getting you a therapist!” Finn says, more of yelling at me still angry at everything that’s going on, but I had no idea what’s really going on, he left my room and went to his, so I decided to follow him, what is he about?
“What are you talking about Finn? Therapist? I’m not crazy,” I say looking at him with hurt filling my eyes, I didn’t enjoy the way he was talking to me.
“I know you’re not crazy Stella, but you’ve been terrified, and you needed me to sleep in the same room as you to make sure you’re okay, and I did that, I stayed with you when you needed me to, and now you’re hiding things from me,” he says, I was grateful for the fact that he stayed with me when I needed him to, but I still had no idea what he’s talking about.
“I’m grateful Finn, but that doesn’t explain what you’re talking about, what am I hiding from you?” I ask him again, what was I hiding from him that got him so mad at me.
“Then why didn’t you tell me the real reason you’re spending time with Theo, he’s insane, and a psycho, but you’re spending time with him why? He’s threatening you or something?” he asks me, it’s because I’m holding his soul, but I can’t tell him so, instead I stayed quiet and just shrugged having to hold back and not tell my brother anything.
“Stella! I know why you’re spending time with them! Even if they are scary, we could keep you safe, and we could move you out of town, we’d do something,” Finn says, being the best brother ever.
“Finn, I’m okay, I’m not being threatened, you don’t have to worry about me,” I assure him, Theo has decided to be a lot less of a jerk and spending time with him makes things a bit better.
“Right, because the magic of spending time with wolves makes everything better,” he says sounding sarcastic, we all sound the same, we share the sarcastic trade we got from mom.
“Finn, let me explain, it’s not like this, it’s not because they are wolves, there’s more to that,” I said trying to calm him down.
“I’m worried about you Stella, and still you’re defending them!” He yells at me.
“Finn, let me explain,” I begged him but he was too gone to understand or even hear me.
“Out Stella!” he yells at me.
“Finn,” I beg him, I didn’t want him to be mad at me.
“Out Stella,” he yells again, and the whole yelling gets our parents’ attention, one thing they don’t approve of is yelling, so when Dad came inside his room I knew we were screwed.
“What’s going on here?” Dad asks us looking at us with n angry look.
“Nothing,” I say the same time that my brother calls me a liar and ask me to get out again.
“Finn, what’s going on here?” Dad asks my brother.
“She knows what’s going on, tell her to leave,” Finn says angrily.
“We don’t treat each other like that in this house, Finn apologize to your sister,” Dad scolds him.
“I’m not the one who did anything wrong here,” Finn refuses.
“It’s okay dad, he’s just upset,” I say trying to defend my little brother, it’s my fault that he’s so angry at me, maybe it was better if I told him right away since he and Cici are spending such a long time together.
“That’s not an excuse, what’s going on Finn?” Dad asks him again.
“Nothing,” Finn says this time, we can’t tell dad the truth, we both knew it’s best to at least keep that hidden from our father.
“And all the yelling?” Dad asks us.
“We’re sorry,” I say trying to get out of all of this, but dad doesn’t believe in forgetting and forgiving.
“Since you two are acting like kids, I’m going to treat you like ones, both of you are grounded, to your room Stella, and stay there,” he orders me, I looked at Finn who had a giant pout on his face, he didn’t want to get grounded just as much as me, but it’s too late to get dad to change his mind, with a big pout, I went to my room.
I sat on my bed feeling hurt and aching from the inside, I tried to wipe my eyes, to hide the tears, but all the words that Finn said hurt, I didn’t mean to hide things from him or to have him be that mad at me.
I heard Theo and Milo trying to talk to me through our bond, but I didn’t understand what they were saying, and I didn’t bother to try and understand them, I stayed in my place with more tears falling down my face, maybe if I call Calesti and talk to her about this, maybe if I talk to her we could find a way to make Finn less mad at me. I heard the boys trying to talk to me through the bond again, but I ignored them, it takes too much to try to understand them especially when my emotions are all over the place.
“Stella,” Theo says his voice sounding a lot louder, like it’s coming from outside of my head, how did he do that?
“Keep it down,” Milo’s voice came next and I jump up from the bed to see them both standing in my room.
“What are you two doing here?” I ask them, when Milo saw my tears he came toward me, he sat next to me and then he pulled me into his lap.
“We came when we felt you crying,” Milo says.
“He’s lying, he was too busy sniffing my ass,” Theo says in a lower voice, sitting next to us, hugging me as well.
“Why are you crying?” Milo asks ignoring Theo’s comment.
“I fought with Finn,” I say with a big sigh, I hate fighting with Finn.
“I’ll beat him for you,” Theo offers and I give him a dirty look along with Milo.
“I’m sorry sweetie, I’m sure all siblings fight,” Milo assures me but I didn’t think he had any sibling, how would he know?
“It’s not just that,” I say, hating the next part, hating the fact that I’m being treated like a child.
“What is it?” Theo asks me, sounding angry again, at least Milo is here to hold him back, and Milo doesn’t mind me being a little.
“I’m grounded,” I whined and they both looked at me with confusion, don’t they know what it means?
“What does that mean?” Theo asks me confused, he wasn’t sure if he should be angry or not right now, it’s kind of funny looking at him like that, lost in his own mind.
“It’s what a parent does when their kids act out, we’re locked in our rooms,” I whined.
“In our world you let your wolf take care of disciplining,” Theo says with a smile on his face.
“Your father grounded you for fighting with your brother?” Milo asks me.
“Pretty much,” I say with a sigh.
“He grounded you, but it’s okay for us to stay here with you,” Milo says with a smile on his face.
“No, it’s not okay for you two to be here, but if we stay really really quiet, then we can stay here,” I say with a smile on my face.
“I love the naughty part of you,” Theo says with a big smile.
“Thank you,” I say with a smile that matched his.
“You two are terrible,” Milo says shaking his head at us.
“Thank you,” Theo says picking me into his arms and hugging me tight.
“We’re happy being terrible,” I say agreeing with him.
“What did you and your brother fight about? What got you crying?” Milo asks me, I only stopped crying since they two were here and got my mind off things.
“We fought about you,” I say with a big pout.
“Me?” Theo says sounding offended.
“Not you, but the whole wolf thingy, he found out about you and now he’s mad at me for hiding the knowledge from him,” I explain to them.
“Who told him?” Theo asks confused.
“I’m guessing Calesti?” I asked them, I wasn’t sure who told him, but if I had to make a wild guess, I’d say it was her.
“She finally did it,” Theo says with a smile on his face.
“You’re weird,” I say looking at them confused.
“We love you,” Theo assured me.
“Thank you for the information but that doesn’t help my situation with my brother,” I whined.
“We’ll find a way to fix it with your brother, trust us,” Milo assured me.
“How do you know that?” I ask him.
“We’ll have a bone fire or something,” Theo throws in.
“You read a lot of stories?” I ask Theo.
“It’s a wolf thing, we all love a good fire, and burgers, and maybe hotdogs, and maybe grill some marshmallows,” Theo says with dreamy eyes, thinking of the food.
“Fine, but we’re both grounded for now, maybe afterwards?” I ask them and they both nod their heads, so it’s going to be later, a fire and a trial to get my brother to forgive me.
“We’re going to stay the night?” Theo asks.
“Only if it’s okay with Lil-Star,” Milo says looking at me.
“Sure, if you two want to,” I say turning red, if dad finds out about this, he’s going to kill me, no he’s going to kill them both and then send me to a coven to become a nun by force.
“We won’t let your father find out,” Milo assures me, laying down on my bed, and Theo does the same, they sandwich me in the middle between them two.
“Good, because I don’t want to be a nun,” I warn them, I prefer to stay as I am.
“A nun? I could tell you don’t like sex, but not that bad,” Theo says looking at me with a raised brow.
“Not by choice, but if Dad catches you two in my room, I’ll be forced to be one,” I answer him and he chuckles, sadly for him his laugh was too loud, I placed my pillow on top of his mouth shutting him up, making Milo laugh, I’m gonna need a lot more pillows for the night to pass.
