Milo POV.
A full week with my soul I’m the happiest wolf on planet earth, I’m the happiest wolf to ever exist and I’m the happiest alpha ever, I didn’t know what I was missing until I got it, I was missing her, I missed that girl, I missed my soul, but I didn’t know that I’m missing her so much.
“You’re happy,” Calesti says, she says that she doesn’t want to be near me for too long, she doesn’t like me that much, we’re not really friends, but she still finds herself around me most days.
“I’m very happy,” I assure her.
“I haven’t told Finny anything yet, don’t tell him,” she scolded me, trying to warn me off from telling her soul about the whole wolf concept.
“I’m not going to tell him,” I assure her.
I wished I was in school with them, but I’m older than my soul and my mate, and I don’t get to spend much time with them, not until they are done with school and get back home and only then do I get to spend some time with them, Little Star has been trying to communicate with me via our soul bond, but she’s not doing a great job, most days I don’t actually hear her, and others she has to call me through the phone to get my attention.
“Where are you going?” I asked Calesti, I didn’t want her to leave, I’m very happy having her around, it’s fun to have someone to talk to.
“Boss, don’t you have friends to spend time with?” she says with an eye roll.
“Oh Calesti, you’re my friend by force,” I say with a smile making her chuckle.
“I’m going to meet with my soul now, bye boss,” she says leaving the pack house, we’re sitting here for no real reason, somehow we always end up here.
“Calesti, you should be going to school more often,” I scold her, for no real reason, but to get back to her for calling out the fact that I don’t have many friends.
“I do go to school, but I had to have a blood check today,” she explains why she has missed class today.
“What’s wrong?” I asked her, I didn’t know she had to have any blood checked today, or any reason she might need to.
“Just a regular check, I need to be healthy for my soul, are you getting checked?” she asks me.
“I’m healthy as a wolf,” I answer her with a smile, I bet that was her excuse to skip school for the day, she’ll be getting her mate off the school and spending time with him.
I on the other hand had to share my soul with my mate, and my mate wasn’t too happy about the fact that he was my mate, every time I touched him he’d fight with me, but the fight usually ended up with me on top, he loves being a brat, he loves my touch, even when he pretend that he doesn’t. He wanted to have his time with our soul, and so I had to stay back and let him spend time with her, maybe they’d find a way to build a bond and not fight all the time, maybe if he lessened being a psycho around her.
The day was very slow with her not around, or having my mate around, I have not one but two lovers and they are both away from me, which made me feel extremely lonely, maybe Cici was right and I do need friends since I didn’t have any around the pack, I decided to call my long-distance friend slash relative, he’s one of my mother’s long-distance relatives we don’t even share any blood, but we’d call each others cousins just to make things easier, he’s ten years older than me, but we’re good friends, we’re the only two who are near each other ages and being alphas.
“What do you want?” my sweet, very sweet cousin answers the phone.
“It’s me,” I say, we’re good friends usually, good enough for me to call him when I’m feeling extremely lonely like today.
“I know it’s you, Milo, you’re the only one who’d dare to call me,” James says with sass, if you think I’m a bad alpha or a strict one, he’s one of the coldest people on planet earth.
“Oh, how dare I annoy your Highness,” I say, loving to tease him.
“Amelia told me you got a boyfriend now, or maybe she said you’re the boyfriend now, I wasn’t paying attention,” he says.
“You’re answering mom’s calls but not me?” I say with a fake pout.
“Go call your boyfriend Milo, I’m sure he’ll answer you,” James says ready to end the call.
“I’m the boyfriend, James,” I say and he just growls bored.
“Lucky you bitch,” James says ending the call, I wanted to talk some more to him, maybe ask him for his opinion, but too late, James is always busy with his pack.
‘Milo…’ I heard Lil-star calls through the bond, but when I tried to answer her, she blocked me off, she does that by mistake, she is either thinking of me while busy, or she’s not ready to hear my answer, I’m not sure what was up with her, I checked my phone and saw nothing, in the last week she’s been using her phone more often than the bond.
She was thinking of me, but she wasn’t talking to me yet, I tried to open my bond fully to her, but I didn’t receive anything back, I tried to get busy, but I didn’t have much to do yet, I’m just spending time at home.
‘Fuck you, Milo!’ I heard Theo yell at me through our bond, we’re still working on having him trust me, and calling me his boyfriend instead of that jerk, or die.
‘What did I do this time sweet mate?’ I ask him with a sweet voice.
‘Die!’ he yells at me through the bond and I know it’s time to call our soul, if he’s mad, he probably messed up with her.
‘Lil-star, what’s going on?’ I ask her.
‘Can you come over?’ she begged me, she didn’t have to beg, I’d come as soon as she asked me to.
‘On my way,’ I say, I didn’t ask her where she was, but if I had to guess, she’s either at her house or Calesti’s place.
I made it over to Calesti’s place and that’s where I found her and her brother, Cici wasn’t around to take care of her soul, so it’s my job to keep him safe and away from the wolves until she’s back, I decided to offer to take her home, or to my home, or maybe the pack house where I can show her off.
“Do you two want to go home? Or my place? Or want to stay here?” I ask them.
“I’m waiting for Cici,” Finn her brother says looking at us with curiosity.
“We’ll wait along,” Stella says still holding tight to me.
“So what are you two now? Lovers? You’re the side chick?” Finn asked me and I could feel the heat rising in her cheeks, the way she blushed so badly, she’s very shy, but I loved it.
“I think I’m the boyfriend,” I say with a smile.
“So what does that make Mr angry man who left? The abuser?” Finn asks, that was an interesting description.
“Mr angry? What did happen?” I ask Finn, she keeps lying and telling me it’s nothing, but it feels like something.
“The hell should I know? But he’s clearly mad at you, if you’re the boyfriend, why are you letting her spend time with him?” Finn asks me.
“Finn, I get to pick who I spend time with,” Stella says angrily, she doesn’t like being ordered around, but she’s the definition of a little, and she needs a lot of boundaries and rules, she even needs help picking who she spends time with.
“She’s a big girl, Finn, she gets to pick who she spends time with,” I say, I’m only defending her so she won’t feel like she’s being controlled, I wish I could forbid her from seeing Theo, but she holds his soul and they need to to find a way to deal with each other.
“I don’t approve,” Finn says.
“I’m your older sister,” Lil-star objects.
“You need help,” Finn says raising his hands up in surrender, I don’t know what Theo did, but I’ll have to deal with my sweet boyfriend and mate ass later.
“Hey, you still here,” Calesti says walking back in, I’ll have to ask her about Theo, but right now, I’m happy she’s here to change the topic.
“Yeah, we’re waiting for you,” I say with a fake smile.
“What do you want to do? Since you waited for me and all?” Calesti asked us, I didn’t care what we did as long as I was near Stella, and I knew that Cici did the same, we are just happy to be around our souls, they bring happiness and joy right into our hearts.
“I want to go back home,” Finn whines.
“Do you want to join us?” Stella asked me and she knew the answer would always be yes, I’d always want to spend time with her, no matter where and why.
“If you guys don’t mind,” I say, trying to make sure that I stay on her family’s good side.
“Come on boyfriend, let’s go introduce you to mom and dad and see what they’d say meeting you,” Finn says and I wasn’t sure if I want to go there or not anymore, I’m about to be introduced as boyfriend, and I’ll get to introduce her as my Luna.
