Sharing is caring, that’s what I was taught since I was a young girl, that sharing is a good thing, sharing with my sibling, sharing with my friends, sharing with my family, I knew that sharing some of my things is a good thing, I shouldn’t be that selfish, my brother has the right to have some of the gummies too.
I knew sharing wasn’t a bad thing, and I knew that being possessive isn’t always that good, I just lost it on a stupid wolf ass because he was being too possessive, I said that he should get his stupid soul and let me be, but now I’m sharing, or maybe I’m better saying I’m being shared.
Instead of having one stupid wolf who’s claiming that I’m his soul, I now have two, and the second one is the freaking alpha, I liked Milo, he knew how to make me laugh, and I loved teasing and challenging him, but he’s an alpha, and even Theo was nice in the beginning before he went insane on me, and I didn’t know how to deal with him anymore.
“Guys, do I get a saying in this?” I asked them, I was lost between them two, and I didn’t know where to run or hide.
“Of course,” Milo says while Theo just shrugs.
“How about you both take back your souls and you go have a good life together?” I suggest, since they love fighting, and they are good together why would they need me in their life? They can just have a good life together, and I’ll go live mine.
“Don’t say that,” Theo growls at me, Milo looks at him with a raised brow, he isn’t happy about the growl, and neither is I.
“Or what Theo?” I challenge him.
“Or…” Theo says and growls, that wasn’t even an answer, that’s just a growl, and it doesn’t scare me, if he thinks it’s a threat then it’s not working on me, in response I raise a brow at him, I might be afraid of bears, but wolves aren’t that bad, they are just giant dogs.
“Theo, stop growling at her, we can’t take our souls and leave Lil-star, we need you, we need you to be happy, healthy and near us,” Milo explains next.
“What if I don’t want to stay?” I ask him.
“We can’t let you go, I’m sorry Lil-star, but we can’t do that, we’ll do anything to make you happy,” he promises me.
“How about we start by not growling at me?” I say with a shrug.
“Don’t growl at her again,” Milo growls at Theo.
“She’s my soul and not yours,” Theo says not agreeing on the fact that they’re sharing me, maybe I shouldn’t be too happy about it either.
“She’s both of ours Theo,” Milo scold him.
“I don’t believe you,” Theo says, he doesn’t believe him, well neither do I, but we’ll find a way to figure out who’s telling the truth.
“When you’re around me how do you feel?” Milo asks him with a raised brow.
“The urge to kill you is very high,” Theo answers.
“You had more than once chance to kill me, and you didn’t, why?” Milo asks next, I was just listening to them, looking between them two, waiting, and trying to understand anything, maybe they are both wrong, and they think I’m theirs while I’m not.
“You’re my alpha, I can’t kill you,” Theo says with a shrug, but I could tell he’s lying.
“Liar, you can kill me, I won’t be the first alpha that has ever gotten killed,” Milo says and I felt terrible, I didn’t want Milo to die, or Theo to be the killer, I frowned at them two.
“I didn’t, how nice of me,” Theo says with a shrug.
“You couldn’t kill me ’cause I’m your mate, and when you’re near me, do you feel?” Milo says going closer to Theo, my eyes went wild seeing them near each other, their lips almost touching, are they going to kiss?
“I’m not your mate, I can’t be yours,” he says his voice trembling, I thought I was their soul supposedly how come they have a soul?
“Milo, can you explain?” I say, even if I’m not one, I’m still a curious person.
“Wolves don’t have soul, we’re born without it, instead we’re gifted one, the soul is usually in the body of a human, that human is our most precious treasure, they are our strength and weakness, they are everything we look for, and would protect at all costs,” Milo says, I didn’t know that I was that important to them, but they could always take their soul and leave me alone.
“What about a mate?” I ask next.
“A mate is another thing, not everyone got one, but the one that does, they are lucky bastards, there’s no real science behind it, but it’s a wolf or a human, we hate and love at the same time, we challenge but can’t kill, we can kiss though,” Milo says, with every word he said, he was going near Theo closer and closer and now he kissed him, it was a real kiss, like the ones I saw in the videos, like the one in the movies, it’s not a regular kiss, it’s a lover kiss, my mouth fell open watching them kiss.
“I don’t want to be your mate,” Theo says but it feels like it is too late, by the look of it, Theo is just about to know how I’ve been feeling around him.
“Too late,” Milo says out loud, that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking of.
“How do any of us know for sure?” I asked them, how do we know any of this was real and not just crazy.
“I just kissed him and he didn’t try to bite my neck off,” Milo says with a smirk.
“Only because you’re my alpha,” Theo says, but I felt like he did that because he loves being kissed by him.
“Fine, that means you two are mates, I’ll applaud for you two and get going,” I say with a fake smile.
“You hold our soul,” Milo says.
“She can’t hold both of ours,” Theo says looking at me with possessive eyes, he didn’t want to share me, and I didn’t want to share with them either.
“It’s not heard of, but it could be possible,” Milo says, and I still have the same question.
“How would you two know for sure that I’m neither of yours?” I asked them, I didn’t want to be anyone’s soul, all I wanted to be was maybe someone’s girlfriend, but they could be each other boyfriends and I’d be a third wheel friend.
“When my wolf saw you, he knew for sure, the feeling of peace and love, it’s not a thing I felt before, and it’s not a thing that I could explain, so I know it is you, and there’s no other explanation than this,” Milo says.
“But how do we know for sure?” I ask them, there must be a way to know for sure.
“We could get her shifting,” Theo says.
“Theo, she’s not connected to either of us, doing that would only put her in danger,” Milo growls, it felt that whatever they wanted to do was dangerous, one that might get me killed, and I didn’t want to die yet.
“How about an idea that won’t kill me?” I ask them.
“I have an idea,” Milo says, and I prayed to god that it won’t kill me.
“Would I die cause of it?” I ask him with a raised brow.
“There might be some discomfort, but not death,” Milo assures me.
“Fine, let’s do this,” I say agreeing with them, but first I had to be sure that they would leave me alone once they understood that I was not theirs.
“Right this way,” Milo says and I decided to add my condition now.
“If I’m not your soul, then you two would have to leave me be, no more being possessive like this,” I say pointing to them both.
“You are ours, but if you’re not, we’ll let you go,” Milo promises me, while Theo doesn’t look too happy about any of this, he’s not letting me go.
They took me through the woods, I had no idea where we were, or where we were going, maybe they were taking me to the point where they were going to kill me, maybe I should call Finn and say goodbye, maybe I should call Calesti and have her come and keep me safe, but I didn’t have any of those options.
They found one point of the woods and pointed to it as if it were the way to know the truth, I looked at them as they shared looks, they screamed hate and anger, how come they are mates? They hate each other, maybe it’s a kink or something.
“Now what?” I ask them, waiting for them to explain what’s going on.
“Try to pass,” Milo says pointing to one of the trees.
“Why? What’s the secret?” I ask them, not understanding what’s the secret behind that tree.
“You just try and do that,” Milo says, Theo took a step toward me, but was pulled back by Milo, they really were going through with their test, maybe if I passed the magical tree would talk and say that I’m not their soul and they’re being idiots.
I took the first step and didn’t feel too good, the second step made me dizzy, the third had my heart dropping and I felt the same feeling I had in the car, the feeling of dying.
“Do you feel okay?” Milo asked me, and I shook my head no, I didn’t feel okay.
“Take a step toward her,” Milo orders Theo, and he runs toward my side, the feeling disappears, and suddenly I feel better.
“What about now?” Milo asks me, still standing on the other side, far away from the tree.
“Better,” I say confused as to why I felt better, how the whole feeling disappeared when Theo stood near me.
“Now both of you come back,” Milo says, Theo had this big smile on his face, this very proud smile, he felt like he won something, and I didn’t understand what did he win?
“Go to that side again,” Milo orders, and I do, the same feeling came over me again, the feeling of pain, only this time it was worse than the first, I fell down on my knees feeling terrible.
“Stay where you are,” Milo ordered Theo, and then he moved toward me, with every step he took the pain subdued until it disappeared as he was standing near me.
“I don’t understand what’s the secret?” I ask him.
“A soul can’t leave the pack land without its wolf,” Milo says holding me tight, making Theo growl at us.
“What does any of that mean?” I ask him, trying to catch my breath, the pain the second time was much worse than the first time.
“It means your mine,” Theo says with a smile on his face.
“He means ours, she’s both of ours Theo,” Milo growls at him.
“Explain,” I groan, needing to understand what they mean.
“Since you’re our soul it means you can’t leave the pack land, the land that’s under my protection as the alpha. If you leave it you’ll be in danger, and the gods know better, you can’t leave it without one of us, the pain you felt is the pain of danger and being away, you hold our souls and our souls need to be near their owner, the wolf,” Milo says.
“She’s mine,” Theo growls again.
“For the last time you idiot, she’s ours and not just yours,” Milo growls holding me tighter, although he’s been possessive too, but when it comes to him, I felt much better around him, than I did near Theo, maybe I’m going insane, and it’s better to keep it a secret from both of them.
