Ashlynn POV.
“When we gonna go home?” I ask Aspen, I am still feeling little and I miss my brother, I want Kitty, I haven’t seen him for long, and I’m sad now.
“We’re going when the boat arrives,” Aspen answers me, but that doesn’t really answer much.
“When does the boat arrive?” I ask him with a bigger pout, I want to leave.
“Soon,” he says making tears start to go down my face, I want to leave, I want to leave now.
“Hey, hey, come here, why are you crying?” he asks me, hugging me closer to his chest now, we’ve been here for three days and I want to leave, I’m bored with the sea, and the sand, I want to leave.
“Wan to leave,” I say sniffling.
“Okay, we’re leaving, the boat is coming soon, then we’ll leave, I promise, now please don’t cry,” he says kissing the top of my head
“When we leaving?” I ask him again, I know when the boat come, but when would it come.
“Just after Eliot wakes up, and we all get our breakfast we’re leaving,” he assures me, kissing the top of my head, kissing my nose next and my cheeks and finally my lips.
“Forgiven,” I say with a smile, being pushed off my little space, I’m more in the middle space right now.
The day started slowly, I tried to wake Eliot up, but he’s really grumpy and doesn’t like being awakened, since Aspen is here, he wants to sleep in. Aspen had to go drag him from the bed and get him ready for the day until the boat finally arrived, all three of us moved there, Aspen was carrying me making sure I don’t get wet on the way there, in the boat I got sick, I didn’t know I was sensitive to the sea until now.
“Daddy, I…” I say before vomiting yet again on the edge of the boat, letting out my whole breakfast.
“It’s okay baby, it’s okay,” Aspen says rubbing my back while Eli was holding my hand and keeping my hair away from the icky vomit.
“When we gonna get there?” I ask them, laying my head on Aspen’s shoulder, I feel terrible.
“A few more minutes,” Eli says, I just nod happily to be getting back home.
“Then a very long plane ride,” Eli whisper but with my wolf hearing I could hear it which made me groan, why did he have to drag me this far away.
“You can sleep through the whole way,” Aspen promises but I didn’t want to sleep.
“Can we get drunk instead?” I ask him, and then beat Eli’s bum? But I did say that out loud.
“Yes! Get drunk and then sleep,” Eli says agreeing with me.
“We’ll see, you two can have a drink or two,” Aspen agrees with us.
“I’ll take a bottle,” I say vomiting again.
“Milk bottle? I’ll be happy to give you one, put you in my lap and baby you,” he says making me giggle, okay that isn’t worse either, but I’d prefer something with alcohol.
The boat torture finally ended and we’re on the plane, a private plane, ready to take off to the sky and get back home, but which home? Are we going to my place or their place, I looked at Aspen hoping he’d tell me but he didn’t say anything.
“Yes? Princess?” he asks me finally when I kept glaring at him.
“Where are we going?” I ask him.
“Home,” he says but that doesn’t really answer me, which home?
“We’re gonna go first to your place, I gave your brother a word, after that we can go to my place,” he says answering my confused glare at him.
“We going to see Kitty!” I say excited now, clapping my hands together.
“Kitty?” Eli asks confused.
“He’s Jordan but I call him Kitty, you shouldn’t though, he’d kick your bum,” I warn him.
“You mean Jordan? The alpha’s mate? The one who looks like he kicks puppies for fun?” Eli adds making me giggle, my brother isn’t that bad.
“No, he won’t,” I assure him but he doesn’t seem to be believing me.
“What about the bottle we were promised?” I ask Aspen.
“Yes, one glass of champagne for the two,” Aspen calls the flight attendant.
“Glass?” I say with a pout.
“When he’s gone, we’ll get drunk,” Eli promises me.
We drank the glass, we took a nap, we played rock paper scissors and even made Aspen read us a story, but it took us forever and ever to get there, why does it take so long, I don’t like that island anymore.
“Sit down, let me put your seatbelt on,” Aspen says as we got the warning to sit down since we’re landing.
“Can we not call Kitty?” I ask with an evil smile.
“The only reason I was allowed on his land was that he was interviewing people to get in his pack,” Eli says.
“Interview Eli? Eli, what else are you hiding from me?” Aspen asks, uh-oh, he’s in trouble.
“It was by chance, why not join them, they are Ashlynn’s brother pack too,” Eli says.
“Stop it, not here, not now, we’ll talk about this later,” Aspen says sounding angry, he doesn’t want to join my brother? Or is he mad cause he went behind his back?
“We’re on solid ground?” I ask them as the plane has finally stopped, and I could breathe.
“Yes, let’s go,” he says but the tension between him and Eli was still there, even when we got in the car, and started the drive toward home. I did call Kitty and told him I’m coming, hopefully, Micah would manage to calm him down so he won’t beat my bum.
“Uhhh, daddy Aspen,” I say slipping out of my headspace, the fear was having the best of me now.
“Yes princess?” he answers.
“I’m not little,” I say trying to stay out of my headspace.
“You’re my princess always,” he answers me with a wink.
“Uhhh, if Jordan is mad, you’ll talk to him right?” I ask him making sure I’ll have him to protect me.
“Of course, no one would touch my princess, she’s under my protection now,” he says, but my nerves weren’t doing so well, first I disappeared when I went out with Amber, and now my mates, my family is going to kill me for sure.
“Thank you, just remember those,” I warn him, making him smile.
“It’s not you who we should hide, it’s better if we get Eli there some bodyguards,” he says making me laugh out loud.
“I was here first, you gotta protect me too!” Eli says with a laugh, but we were both scared, and screwed, definitely screwed.
