Ashlynn POV.
“Mine,” we both say at the same time, mine, but how could he be mine? He’s human, and I got my own mate, my traitor mate, but mine none of the less.
“Wait, what? how?” Eli asked behind me, I was so mad at him, I didn’t want to hear his voice, not a sound, I turned to him with a glare.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” I ask him, why didn’t he tell me he got a daddy?
“You said you hate humans,” Eli answers me, well I do but this human, he’s different, this human is mine, this human I want to keep forever.
“I do, but not… not him,” I say confusing myself now, how is he mine? While Eliot is mine too, I don’t understand how’s that happening, I’m giving myself a headache.
“Hate human?” the stranger asks raising a brow at me, making me blush, why am I feeling like this.
“Well, not you,” I say again with a blush, whole Eli gets closer to us, he was staying away from me, and now he’s standing right next to me.
“Does that means I’m forgiven?” Eli asks, making a duck face next to me, making me smile, okay he’s sweet but that doesn’t mean he’s forgiven yet.
“Really Eli?” the stranger asks him raising a brow at him this time, making Eli blush he looked just as confused as me.
“I don’t get it, it’s just that I feel connected to you both, and now I feel… I feel…” he says not knowing how to finish his line.
“Completed?” the stranger says, but that’s the same feeling I have, I feel complete, now I don’t feel the worry or fear of him leaving me, now I feel like I could trust him completely, which is weird, he’s my mate, I should be able to trust him no matter what.
“This makes no sense,” I say looking back at my mate, or maybe two mates, I say with a groan.
“I need a drink,” the stranger says, and I agree we all need a drink right now, he moved in the house with confidence, he knew where everything is, where the alcohol are and where the glass is.
He poured all three of us drinks, I drank the whole thing in one sip, I need more, I offered him my empty glass hoping for more.
“No,” he says in a firm voice, I looked at him with a raised brow no?
“No?” I repeat.
“Yes, no more drinks,” he says making me groan.
“He kind of limits my alcohol intakes, well ours now,” Eli explains.
“This still doesn’t make sense,” I say again.
“We believed that me and Aspen, his name is Aspen by the way is my mate, but there was always this missing feeling, and then I met you and it all clicked, you are my mate. And now that he’s here, I’m still connected to him and you, but mine and Aspen’s connection is finally completed,” Eli explains.
“And what was your plan? Double dating us?” I ask Eli, I can’t believe he thought he had another mate and still mated with me.
“Uhh… I would’ve thought of something, you know,” Eli says, making the stranger, I mean Aspen groan.
“Give me one good reason not to spank you,” Aspen says making me nod, I agree, he needs a good spanking.
“I found our third, I think,” Eli says then turns to me.
“Can wolf have two mates?” Eli asks me.
“I believe we can, I can ask my bro…” I start to say then remember Jordan, he’s waiting for my call, he must be worried.
“I need to call my brother again,” I say worried now, he’s going to kill me, and then my mate, how can I talk him into not doing that.
“Are you okay little girl?” Aspen asks looking and sounding worried.
“Uhhh… I told my brother, my very protective brother, that I want to go home because my mate got a daddy,” I say this time biting my lip, knowing that I messed things up with Jordan.
“We’re going to have a really, really long talk about mates, and what you are and aren’t allowed to keep hidden,” Aspen says to Eli, before turning to me.
“Let’s go settle things with your brother, you are safe love, more than Eliot’s bum for sure,” Aspen says holding my hand and taking me back toward the office, he got the phone and handed t me, letting me call my brother’s number.
“Ashlynn, we’re ready to come and get you, where are you,” my brother says right away, I looked at Aspen not sure how to answer my brother.
“I’m okay staying here,” I say making Jordan angry, he began to yell at me, asking if I’m forced, and if there was a gun held to my head, I looked at Aspen again, I don’t know why I’m looking at him in the hope he’d help me, he took the phone from my hand.
“Hello, this is Aspen, I’m your sister mate, well second mate,” Aspen says listening to the answer on the other side, and I knew he was yelling.
“I’m sorry for this misunderstanding, she’s safe, I’m here now to keep the littles under control,” Aspen says making me frown, I don’t need anyone to keep me in line.
“I swear on my honour,” Aspen says, making me roll my eyes, really?
“Yes of course,” he says one last time before handing me the phone back.
“Hey Kitty,” I say hoping if I called him by his nickname he won’t be super mad at me.
“You have two mates sister,” he tells me, I nod but he can’t see me nodding.
“One is human,” I mumble to him, I didn’t know we could have human mates.
“It’s rare, but it happens, the other is wolf right?” he asks me.
“Mhm, when we met we felt complete,” I tell him.
“Yes, sweetie, it’s how things go, you won’t feel complete until they both are there,” Jordan explains, even at this age, I still need my brother.
“Okay, thank you, Kitty,” I say feeling smaller than ever, I need to regress one way or another my wolf and body are demanding to go to our little space where we feel the safest.
“Stay in touch, I can come and get you,” Jordan says.
“Okay, bye,” I say ending the call with him, I turned back to Aspen.
“How about we go pick Eliot up and go to bed early? We can talk in the morning,” Aspen suggests, which sounds perfect, I’m exhausted, mentally and physically.
“Okay,” I agree with him making him smile.
