Ashlynn POV.
“Baby, wakey wakey,” he says begging me, but I wasn’t going to obey him, I don’t want to wake up, not after last night’s dream, it felt like shit.
“I don’t want to wake up,” I say with a groan, I don’t want to wake up, why is he trying to even wake me up.
“Please get up princess, I want to see your pretty eyes,” he begs with me, with a groan, I opened my eyes allowing him to see them, hope he’s happy now.
“Happy?” I groan at him.
“Very, now please get up,” he begs with me, he didn’t sound little but I had to make sure I’m not neglecting my little boy, I sat up and opened my arms for him, little Eliot would come and sit in my lap, he’d hug me, but big Eli pulled me in for a hug, placing me in his lap, he’s clearly big.
“You can take care of yourself for the day Eli, if little Eliot needs me, I’ll be in bed,” I say pushing him off and going back to sleep.
He allowed me to sleep in for another hour or so, but after that, I was wakened up by my mate again, this time he had breakfast for me, he made me pancakes, the same thing I had made for him yesterday, I smiled seeing the smiley face made with blueberries.
“Thank you,” I say taking the tray from him, he was eying the food, I saw little Eliot showing in his eyes.
“You want a bite?” I ask him, he nods his head yes, I took the fork and began to feed him the food, sharing it between the two of us.
“Hey little boy,” I say seeing him slipping entirely, he smiled at me, an innocent smile that melted my heart.
“Hi mommy,” he says, jumping up and down on the bed.
“What do you want to do today?” I ask him, trying to get him to sit still for a minute.
“We can go swim!” he says excitedly again, jumping up and down.
“Okay, we can do that,” I say, what else would we do on an island surrounded by the sea but go out and swim, it’s not Eli or Eliot’s fault, what I saw was a bad dream, a nightmare that felt so real, that made me tremble with fear, but it’s a nightmare, I shouldn’t be thinking about it, more sleep helped me rest and forget.
“I don’t have any swimming suit on me,” I say, I’m sleeping in one of the T-shirts, and I don’t have any of my clothes here with me.
“I know! I know!” he says leaving me on the bed, and running toward the closet, he opened one side of it, showing me woman’s clothes, including bikinis, and one-pieces.
“Whose clothes are those?” I ask him, did he bring a lot of girls here, if they left their clothes behind, I don’t want any of them, I felt the need to cry, to scream fight.
“Yours, me asked them to buy you clothes on our way here,” he says blushing but then he added, “If you no like them, I’ll buy you new ones,” he says making my heart skip a beat, he’s so sweet!
“No, I love them, thank you!” I say getting off the bed, and moving to check what he got, he got me all kinds of summer clothes.
“Now we go swim?” he asks me, I nod my head yes, choosing a bikini to wear.
“Get dressed Eliot, please,” I say, taking my new clothes to the bathroom, I changed seeing they fit me perfectly.
After I was done, I checked the bathroom cupboard, and finding sunscreen, I spread some on my shoulders and face, then took the bottle with me out of the bathroom, I went on the search for my little boy.
“Eliot,” I call him when I don’t find him in our room, I started to search for him, calling his name over and over again.
“Yes, mommy?” he finally answered me, I gave him a look, he needs to stop running away from me.
“No more hiding away from me, when I call you answer me!” I scold him, making him pout.
“Okay,” he says again looking down to his feet, avoiding my eyes.
“I don’t want to lose you outside Eliot, stay where I can see you okay,” I say in a firm voice, trying to sound a little softer.
“Okay mommy,” he answers me, still looking down, he was naked except for his swimming trunks.
“Let’s rub you with some sunscreen,” I say making him whine, but I ignored it, having his whole body covered with sunscreen not to burn out in the sun, even wolves can burn, Micah burns easily.
“Nu like it,” he whines, but I was done, I held his hand and went on the search for towels, better have everything we need first.
“Do we need anything else?” I ask him, having towels, a water bottle, and the sunscreen bottle if we need to add any.
“Nu mommy, we swim now?” he whines, he’s right, he wants to go swim and I’m holding him back.
“Yes, let’s go,” I say going out with him, there were some chairs waiting for us outside, and the whole place was well designed.
We left out things and got in the water, the water was perfect, the sand was slipping under our feet, tingling us, making us smile, as we moved more and more into the water.
“Stay where I can see you,” he order me in his little voice, I held back my smile, just nodding my head yes to him.
“I mean it,” he order me again, I couldn’t hold my laugh this time, I giggled at him.
“I will honey,” I assure him, bending my knees a little bit until the water covered my head, leaving just my dark hair up above the water.
“Ashlynn!” he scolds me in a loud voice, I got back up giggling, fine, I won’t scare him again, but I want to play. I splashed him with water, and he splashed me back giggling, now that we were laughing and having fun, I could get away from him a little, and with him following after me, we spent the next hour just playing in the water, I stayed more in the shallow side, afraid that he might fall or drown, although I’m sure he knows how to swim, I need to make sure he’s safe the whole time.
