Ashlynn POV.
God, my head hurt so badly, what happened? What did happen, I tried to wake up, to open my eyes, but they felt super heavy, I couldn’t wake up, but why couldn’t I wake up, I groaned to myself, this isn’t happening again. I’m a big strong dominant wolf, I’m not someone to be hurt or abused, I can wake up, I should wake up, but then I felt weak, I don’t want to feel weak.
“Mmmmm,” I whined and groaned trying to move my body, trying to get my consciousness to wake the frick up.
“Hey princess, my sweet princess,” the voice says, I recognize this voice, I’ve heard it before everything went dark, it was there.
I whined some more, why can’t I wake up, what did happen to me? I was suffering from lack of sleep, and insomnia, not being in a coma, was I in some kind of incident, unless if a meteor have hit me and sent me to a medical coma.
I think I fell back to sleep, the darkness took hold of me and my mind again, my dreams were interrupted by memories of Amber, memories of the nights I’ve spent there, what if my mate hates me, what if he doesn’t want me? What if he tries to abuse me too?
The bad thoughts and ideas made me cry in my sleep, I was having nightmares, I was afraid, the person holding me felt the fear that was coursing through my veins, the person holding me hostage, held me closer, petted my hair, kissed my cheeks, promised to keep me safe until my wolf and my human body calmed down until my eyes could rest and I went back to peaceful sleep.
“Princess, why won’t you wake up?” the person says, their voice was filled with frustration this time.
“Come on, I want to see those eyes of yours, please, please,” the voice owner begs me, I wanted to obey, I wanted to open my eyes and meet theirs, I want it so badly, but I’m too tired and sleepy to do so.
I woke up on my own sometime later, I don’t know how long have passed, but finally, my eyes have decided to open, I saw a white ceiling on top of me, and sunlight, I tried to move, but I did manage to move this time, I looked around me, I’m in a room, a white room, a giant bed in the middle that’s where I’m sleeping, with sliding doors that lead to the outside, one thing I knew for sure, I wasn’t home.
I tried to get off the bed, finding no restriction to keep me down, my head was very light from my sleep but other than that I was okay, I looked around for more details on where I’m. All I could find were some clothing articles that aren’t mine, a bathroom behind the first door, and a walked in closet behind the second door.
That left me with the choice of either the sliding glass door is where the sun is shining, or the last door which must open to the outside, I decided to pick the sliding door, I walked toward them, opening the glass door, expecting to be met with woods, our whole area is filled with woods, it’s surrounded with woods everywhere.
But the thing that met me was different, I wasn’t home, I wasn’t in Micha’s territory either, I doubted I’m in the same country anymore, I looked with confusion at the sand, yes the sand, salty air was hitting my face, I could smell the beach! The freaking beach! But how did I end up next to the beach!
I started to run, I can’t stay here, I shouldn’t stay here, I tried to run, go back home, find someone, anyone, call Keiran and tell him to come to get me, but as I ran around this place, all I could see was the house I just left, a beautiful beach house, the beach, and that’s about it. I kept on running, I have the power of a wolf, a panicked and scared wolf, if I shift now, I fear I’d go feral due to fear, so I stayed in my human form, running.
The piece of land I’m on right now is really small surrounded by beaches everywhere I go, the house was in the middle of it, with a couple of trees next to it, I was trapped on an island!
“You’re done looking princess?” the voice who was hunting my sleep asked, I turned to the owner of the voice, I was met with blond hair, and a big smile, the same hazel eyes.
“Mate,” I say without a second thought, my wolf was the one speaking, it’s our mate, he’s standing right in front of us.
“My mate,” the guy says, and run toward me, I didn’t know how to react, is he going to attack me? Is he going to kill me? Is he going to abuse me?
Instead of all of my speculation, my mate kissed me, he kissed me right on the lips, a deep kiss filled with emotions, our bodies moulded together into one, this is different from anything else I’ve ever experienced, no one has ever felt right, no one especially not Amber.
“Hey, wait, wait,” I say before things get even worse, before we do something else, even if he’s my mate, I want to get to know him before we jump in bed together.
“Why wait? I want you princess please,” he begs in the sweetest voice ever.
“No, I said to wait,” I say pushing him a bit away from me, making his pout bigger.
“Why wait, I’m the boss here, not you,” he says in a firm voice, he did sound firm, but not that firm, he sounds like me when I’m slipping into my middle space.
“You can’t be the boss, I’m the dominant one,” I say to him, I was fully dominant right now.
“No, I’m, I know I don’t sound like it, but I’m usually a dom,” he says looking frustrated.
“You’re a switch?” I ask him, I knew this feeling so well.
“I’m, but how did you?” he asks me.
“I’m one too!” I say with a big smile, we are perfect for each other, we can take care of each other when in a vulnerable space.
“You are a perfect princess!” he says hugging me, making me chuckle.
“What’s your name?” I ask him, everything is fuzzy after seeing him in Micah’s office.
“I’m Eliot and you are Ashlynn, my princess Ashlynn,” he says with a big smile, making my heart melt.
