Book:I Have Your Sons, Mr. CEO Published:2024-9-2

Momentarily, she wakes up with a start. She was consumed by anxiety as she tried playing it all back at that moment, as soon as Laura had woken up she had looked around to the clock..
Damn fuck. A very important fact she’d missed earlier suddenly struck her mind, she thought about how long she had been asleep for and groaned heavily.
“You’re late Laura.”She whispered the last word to herself as she hurried out of bed and nearly came to look at herself in the mirror.
She was in a bit of rush, doing all she could to get back to the hospital as fast as he could –
The entire environment had a combination of wicked humor and unbridled desire that crept through her soul.
“You couldn’t Wake me up.”He muttered.
She was a bit furious, Riley met her there at the moment and she was furious as well. She was walking and putting on her shoes as she made way out.
“Just arrived here as well, had to get the boys ready.”
“Oh that , are they on their way? ”
“Yeah, Damien is going to drop them off”
She was still trying to process all her thoughts that morning when she got to the car.
“Have you spoken to Antonia?”As she questioned Laura fell quiet, she didn’t know how to answer the question that she was a bit unsettled about leaving her with Christian.
“Yes, but you needn’t worry. I know exactly what to do.”
“How? No offense, but if you’ve never faced her since after everything that had happened, are you sure you should trust her?”
If anyone else could be right about the situation at that moment, it had to be her.
But as she had said she knew exactly what to do, she would have laughed at the situation In the past but not tonight. Not this moment.
. Coming from Riley, it sounded perfect. As perfect as the way she’d called to her on every other issue, since the moment she’d met her.
Still she couldn’t deny that feeling she was having, it had also frightened the hell out of her because this wasn’t like her at all.
The fact that she had not thought about all of these till this moment made it more critical, she was the logical one, one who had always thought over issues severally but she’d never gone to the extent She was at the moment.
She needed no further proof of her fear and anxiety than how her heart was beating heavily, feeling every inch of her skin ached.
She shifted on the chair as her heart began to throb, had she been foolish trusting Antonia?
****
The feeling he had was incredible, but if he hadn’t been so hungry, he’d found a much different way to keep to himself instead of insisting on the rest of the dinner being taken away
Deep in his soul, he had this overwhelming urge to go back home as it was all he could think about, in his soul he had that bit of glitch.
The feeling went straight to his heart, still something was empty, he couldn’t tell what it was but Something was most definitely missing.
So when Antonia had walked in later that day after putting the meal away he had asked the most thrilling question at the back of his mind.
“Are you sure there is nothing you want to tell me.”Immediately he asked that question
felt so damn good to voice that out loud.
At first she was shocked, the realization that she wanted to be with him was more than Antonoa could handle. This was
like having every dream she’d ever had about coming back home come true at the same time, yet she Knew that she hadn’t answered all her questions
She could feel the anxiety as it came off her in waves.”Why did you ask? ”
She wanted to know with a lot of questions running through the back of her mind that she felt the need to find answers to all that was thriving in her heart.
As she spoke the cutest little smile graced her face, and then she bit her lip. Her heart was throbbing now.
A fierce feeling rose up her neck and filled her face. She glanced around, clearly embarrassed
that he was about to find out the secret that she had been hiding but even more, she needed to understand this, once and for all.
“What are you hiding? I might not have my memories but I know that you are up to something.”
A look of fear crossed her face, and she wanted to lie again, it felt wonky in her head and it wasn’t right that she should be uneasy in this situation yet she was.
“All I can say is everything I am fixing is all well and good for you.”
“You shouldn’t just assume that you can do this all by yourself, you need me too .”
She wasn’t sure s he’d be able to wait until they got to wherever she was taking him before she should make that move.
She looked at him like she’d never considered he might actually love her.
“You are not scared of me love or are you?”
That sweet little voice, so almost childlike in its hope, spoke and with it a feeling of comfort so soothing that was his undoing.
He looked up at her again as she got closer,
tangling his fingers in her hair and pulling her as close as physically possible it looked as though there had to be more she had to do about the entire situation.
He tore his gaze from hers, she looked at him with adoring eyes, and he knew if he died tonight, he’d most definitely had wanted answers.
Yet in a way Nothing could be this perfect. It wasn’t possible that I could be lying.
“I don’t know. I know it’s crazy, but-”
“It’s not crazy.”She hollered.
All her protective instincts kicked in. She put down the folder and scooted her chair closer- Whoever might be watching was the furthest thing from her mind as got closer and Cradled his face in her palm.
“Now you listen to me. You’re my responsibility. That doesn’t only mean you can’t make your own decisions.”She uttered.
“It’s about something different-It means what affects you, affects me, and vice versa. Yet I’d
lay down my life to save you. I will always feel this way. You’re my responsibility -I’m in love with you.”she added.
“I swear I felt it the second I first looked into your eyes.”
Touching her face sent an ache to his entire groin. In a way he didn’t remember to feel.
“Is this real?”he whispered, his voice filled with wonder and anxiety –
“Yeah, in a few minutes we would be leaving for a much better place.”He bemoaned.
“Are you sure they won’t oppose this?”
“I’m absolutely certain.”
“What about others in my life ? Is there another family like that wouldn’t mind or would be waiting in the wings? ”
The image of that sentence, written in his word’s , rose up in Antonia’s mind.
Almost immediately, the doctor walked in.”It’s time.”He muttered.
