Feeling rather disturbed Antonia walked into the room looking rather disturbed, she had just been with the doctor and while she had hopefully thought the short trip would make her rather excited, the result was an excruciating opposite.
Her heart hurts the most and she grits her teeth, refusing to let out that pain she was feeling deep in her soul.
She replays every word from the doctor-
“No pregnancy…”
The Doctor’s words echoed through her mind again leaving behind a very distasteful feeling.
She thought that perhaps the situation might have been a lot better for her to take in if she didn’t have those complications.
She slams the door to her room feeling absolutely disrupted, for no reason she thought it was best she wallowed in the darkness that was around the room as it seemed a more comfortable atmosphere for her thought.
“Come home, I need us to talk.”Her call to him was short and brief, no pleasantries.
She wasn’t in the mood for any as she just wanted the heavy thoughts out of her head.
For the curtains, they remained closed blocking out any remaining source of light, she cried against her pillow sniffing and letting out her pain as she breathed heavily into the darkness.
Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, every part of her felt that need to find something to do, it was only a matter of time till he arrived so she made an order.
With that need to clear her head and calm her soul, she stripped naked and walked into the bathroom, she turned the faucet on warm and let the water sluice down like heaven on her skin, beating down the last of the anxiety as her thoughts and memories of the day drained away.
When she emerges from the water, her soul felt much better, almost cleansed-
She gazed at the time and could see he would soon be home, half past eight.

Christian walked in an hour later looking rather disturbed, in his hands was the pancake she had ordered.
“Got this-“The rest of his words were drawn in his gaze.
“Are you fine?”He muttered after seeing the state she was in.
Causally he dropped the box of pizza and walked closer, she most definitely had been crying.
“I am fine? “She replied sniffing.
He looked around the room and could see the state it was in, from the tissues littering the floor to her clothes.
“I don’t think so, you are not looking exactly good… Moreover you called me.”
She interrupts.”But I am … “Antonia voice trembles as she tried speaking,
“Absolutely not.”he insisted, “And we are not even arguing about this, just say what the problem is!”
It had been a while since he caught Tonia in a foul mood, she looked broken as she stared dejectedly at him as at though she appeared to be carrying the weight of the world on her shoulder
Regardless, Christian pressed on.”You said you were going to the doctor today, what did the doctor say? ”
“I am fine?”She insisted this time, stubbornly.
He snaps, his dark eyes exasperated.”You keep saying you are fine and you look terrible . What do you take me for, kid? I will not sign off on this.”
His attitude has only frustrated her, making her temper flares, but she forces her voice to stay even.
“What do you want me to say, that I just have a slim chance to have kids? ”
His eyes narrow, he rebukes himself for being insensitive.”What, are you sure?”
Christian gaze went all cold, he paced around and couldn’t get himself to believe what he just heard.
She walked over to where the result was and picked it up, she sniffed again making her way back to him.
“Have it.”She spoke in a subtle tone.
“What is in it?”
“Why not see it for yourself.”
He blinked, unable to believe what was written in it.
“I am sorry Tonia, I -“He ran his fingers through his hair In frustration.
His mind went all blank as he didn’t know the right thing to do at the moment, he felt confused-
“No, I can’t believe this!”
He backed away.
“Christian.”She calls his name a bit puzzled.
Before he could say any more words he turned and walked out with the results in his hands, he was as dejected as her.

“What am I doing here?”He whispers to himself as he was starting to feel rather overwhelmed.
The drive had been so quick, he had driven out of the compound as soon as he heard the news just to clear his head and now he was feeling silly for leaving her to herself.
He gets a text from her telling him to thread carefully and pointing out the fact that she understood his pain.
He alighted the car and made way into the pub without having much time to enjoy the lush while feeling miserable.
Inhaling the crisp air of the pub, he walked toward Damien who was sitting not too far away.
His head felt light after the fifth shot of whiskey settled into a warm puddle in his
stomach, he was going for a sixth when he stopped him.
He was tipsy causing a lot of displeasure and concern from the other man.
“You don’t drink too much in public, what is wrong?”
He only made a grumpy noise not willing to share.
“You are not having any more.”He took the cup from his hands.
“I am your boss, you don’t tell me what to do.”
“Well tonight, I just might.”
He sighs.
“What is the problem? “Damien asked again.
He thought about the entire situation again, weighing it in his heart, he shut his eyes letting the pain out.
“She can’t have kids.”
“Who?”Damien asked, a bit surprised.
Just then his phone buzzed with a text from Laura.
Can we talk?
Very urgent!
He thought about it, but for a while… He weighed the options and bad timing.
