Sebastian’s P. O. V
I watched her running away in the rain from the big glass wall of my apartment. I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel sorry for her. Seeing her drenched in the rain, shivering from the cold made my heart soft for a bit. But when my eyes fell on her face memories of the past replayed back in front of my eyes. Her lies, and her betrayals all came back like the freezing water drops of the rain and woke me up.
I first met Kylie four years ago at the welcome party for the freshers. Among all the girls, a cute simple natural beauty caught my attention. It was love at first sight for me. I was on cloud nine the day she accepted my proposal and became my girlfriend. I was so proud of her because I was her first kiss, the first man to ever touch her. Though I never revealed my identity as a billionaire heir we were happy. But she turned out to be a gold digger bitch as my Dad told me about her.
FLASHBACK…..
I was in a very bad mood because I had another fight with my father regarding my relationship with Kylie. I was so mad at him for spying on my personal life. That’s the reason I hated him. He always wanted to control me. On top of that, he said some lame things about my Kylie.
“Hey man, why are you sulking here alone?” Ray, my best friend said slapping my shoulder playfully.
“Not now, Ray. I am in no mood,” I glared at him. We were sitting at the bar near the boy’s hostel.
“Okay, had another fight with your Dad regarding your stepmother?” he asked with concern. I just shrugged at him. No one on the campus knew about our relationship. Kylie wanted it to be secret to avoid extra attention from the girls who had a crush on me; silly right?
When we were busy chatting and sipping our drinks few boys entered the bar. They were loud and noisy. We turned back to take a look at them and it was Noah, the football team captain, and his gang. They talking about some girl and I turned around ignoring their childish gossip. But all of a sudden I heard Kylie’s name. They were talking about her. I couldn’t ignore them anymore and walked toward them.
“Which Kylie are you talking about?” I asked Noah frowning at him. Maybe they were talking about someone else.
“The new girl from the design department. She is a total hot chick, dude. At first, she was playing hard to get but when I offered her a designer bag, she got ready to spend a night with me in an instant. I can’t believe how cheap these poor girls are. They work hard to get a scholarship in big colleges then seduce rich guys to lead a luxurious life,” he said and started laughing like a maniac. My blood was boiling with anger.
“How dare you say something like that about a girl? How dare you spread fake rumors about her?” I grabbed him by his collar and asked.
“What the fuck, Sebastian. I am not lying, let me go,” Noah yelled at me trying hard to free himself from my hand.
“What are you doing man? Let him go. Why are you fighting with him for a cheap girl like her?” Ray asked from behind. He was also pulling me to let Noah go but I was getting out of control.
“She is not a cheap girl. I know her well. This scumbag here is lying bout her,” I said through gritted teeth.
“I am not lying a bit. She slept with Jack last week for a watch. If you don’t believe me then let’s go with me. She is coming to my dorm room in thirty minutes,” Noah said yanking away my hands. It seems like I was hit by a truck at that moment. I remembered Kylie had a new Rolex watch last week. She said it was a gift from someone but what I was hearing now made me suspicious about her.
“Let’s go to your dorm. If she doesn’t turn up there then this is your last day in this college,” I told Noah Walking out of the bar.
On my way, I was praying to whichever god was up in the sky to make everything a bad dream. I loved Kylie so much that I didn’t want to lose her. Moreover, what I hated most in my life was cheating. If it turns out that she was cheating on my back then I might never trust or love anyone in my life.
After reaching the dorm, Noah asked me to hide in a far corner from where I could easily keep an eye on his room door. I was waiting with a thumping heart and to my surprise, I saw Kylie there. She knocked on his door and when he opened the door, they talked about something then she went inside. Noah winked at me with a winning smile before closing the door. My full body went numb as realization hit me. I was being fooled by her innocent face. She was a gold digger slut.
I don’t know how much time passed when I saw Kylie coming out of the room wearing a men’s T-shirt and a designer bag in her hand.

From that day I swore to make her life a living hell. She will never have a happy moment in her life. She will be tormented every day from now on. She cheated on me for money, and today I bought her with money. I will make sure she will beg for the love I once gave her but what she will get is only pain, insult, and torture.
‘KEEP AN EYE ON HER EACH AND EVERY MOMENT. MAKE SURE SHE RETURNS TO MY APARTMENT BY TOMORROW MORNING, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TO HER FAMILY.’
I typed the message and then sipped on my glass. The burning taste of whisky brought an unknown kind of pleasure in my mind. I knew what I was doing was right.
