THE CEO ALPHA KING
Chapter 18: Meeting Madam Lucas
Writer’s POV
Elena left the king’s chambers to find Grandma Felicia, and she was taken to her room in the mini-mansion.
When Grandma Felicia saw her, she could not hide the surprise on her face.
“Good morning, Alpha Elena.” Grandma Felicia greeted her, bowing slightly in submission to the female Alpha.
Elena smiled, fondling her fingers. “Felicia, how have you been?” Elena inquired before taking a seat on the sitting room sofa.
“I have been very good, Alpha Elena. So what brought you here?” The older woman asked.
“It is the King.” He brought me here, and it is a serious situation. Everything that was written down is now taking place. Elena grimaced and looked away briefly before returning her gaze to Grandma Felicia.
“Where is the halfbreed?”
“Oh, she is at the castle, Alpha Elena. “Do you want to speak with her?” Grandma Felicia inquired, surprised that the female Alpha was aware of the new slave.
“Of course, I would love to talk to her later. You will have to keep a close eye on His Highness. We can not be certain he will not kill her. His hatred for the female species is fueling the killing force. His dislike may take over and he will end up harming her, so you must ensure she remains safe here.” Elena explained.
“Yes, of course, Alpha Elena. That is the reason I am still here; I will do my best. Of course, she will suffer physical damage that cannot be avoided. You know the king is naturally hot-headed and stubborn, but she is the direct opposite of him.
“It really bothers him.” “The moon goddess certainly knows what she is doing by combining the two.” Elena smiled, pausing for a moment before proceeding.
“You know, when I saw her at the company, I was not sure if she was the one written about, but once I made her see the king up close, everything started on its own.”
“I was not even sure that the prophecy would come true. I am very glad it is happening.” Elena smiled as well, a spark of joy lighting up her heart.
“You are a good friend, Alpha Elena. Believing in the king’s redemption is one thing; holding onto it is another. He is going to be so grateful to you after all of this.” Grandma Felicia supplemented.
“Thank me? The King? That will not happen. Do not count on it; the king is too arrogant and self-centered to thank anyone.” Elena scoffed and rolled her eyes.
Grandma Felicia laughed softly.
“Alright, tell her I am waiting for her in the garage.” Tell her to join me there right now.” Elena instructed while standing at her feet. As she stepped toward the door, her aura radiated poise and power.
“Alright, Alpha Elena.” Do enjoy the rest of your day.”
“You too, Felicia.” She said, walking away with a small happy smile on her face.

“Wow! Isaac, my new room is beautiful. Were you the one who chose it? Serena inquired, taking in the larger and more beautiful room.
There was a massive queen-size bed in the center. There is a closet room to the right, and huge, sparkling white drapes hang from the ceiling, blocking the sunlight.
“Nope. I believe the king’s beta, Adam, did. It is closer to his room, so be careful. “At least until I get you out of here.” Isaac groaned, not pleased that the room was so close to the Betas.
“Yes.” Serena nodded absentmindedly as she walked to the bed to sit down. She almost moaned in delight because it was the softest bed she had ever had.
There was a massive chandelier hanging over her head, and she looked to the left to see a bathroom door. There is also a dressing table just before it.
She lay back against the bed, unable to stop the moan from escaping her lips.
“Do you like the room so much?” Isaac inquired, looking around irritably before coming to sit beside her.
Serena nodded, looking around with excitement.
“Perhaps we should reconsider our plans to leave here.” Isaac teased l, looking at her.
“Of course not.” We should; I can not handle the king’s temper. He might kill all of us, so we are going to stop that before it happens.” Serena turned to pin him with a glare.
Isaac sighed and leaned back against the bed, his gaze fixed on the chandelier above him.
“I can not help but be nervous. We are about to fool the king. What if it does not go well? Though I am confident that it will.” His voice became more worried after a while.
Serena turned to face him, and she could feel fear creeping up her spine as well.
Yes. What if the king finds out? What will he do? He may suspect foul play because Isaac will approach him once he has gotten me out.
I know the king is very smart. He also reads people’s minds. Yes! He hears people’s thoughts but pretends he doesn’t. Isaac would be arrested when he returned to seek permission to stop working for him. The king will hear and understand all of his inner thoughts and feelings.
That is really bad. That is terrible. When the king discovers that he has been duped, he will not take it lightly with Isaac. He could turn Isaac into a slave or, at worst, kill him.
No. No. That is terrible. I cannot allow that to happen to my brother. For my freedom, I will not let him die. They all seem to be unaware of his ability to hear and read people’s thoughts. We will all be busted, and his friend, Kendrick, may face the same punishment as him.
So, what should I do? What should I do? I cannot allow my brother to be killed. I can not let the one person who cares too much about me die because of me. I will not be able to live with my guilt. It is enough guilt that my mother died giving birth to me. Isaac cannot die either. He can not die.
What should I actually do? How should I go about this without causing Isaac and his friend any trouble? Even if I am caught, I want to serve my punishment alone.
I do not want them to be punished for my sake. I just need to think of something. Anything. Staying here is clearly not an option for either Isaac or me.
Staying here means he will have to spend the rest of his life here. I really need a good plan. I need a plan that will not get them into trouble.
“Serena! Serena!” Isaac’s voice interrupted Serena’s train of thought.
“Yes.” She blinked, then turned to face him.
“What were you thinking about so deeply that you did not hear my first call? “What are you thinking of?” Isaac asked, sitting up beside her.
She could not tell him. He had been very nice to her, but he might not agree with her plan. He would risk everything for her. She needed to plan and execute everything on her own.
“No… Nothing.” She responded without meeting his gaze when he turned worriedly to her.
“Nothing? Come on, Sis. You do not have to lie to me; I am on your side in everything. I do not need you to keep secrets from me.” Isaac spoke.
“Yes, I am not. I am just wondering why Kate has not called me since I became the king’s slave.” Serena lied through clenched teeth, avoiding her brother’s gaze.
However, the fact that her sister had not called bothered her. Maybe Kate was truly glad that she was a slave now.
“Is that your other half-sister?” Isaac questioned.
“Yes.”
“If she does not care about you, you should not worry about her. She is a b*tch, according to what you told me, and I am not going to fuck her if I see her.” Isaac snorted.
Serena burst into laughter at his words. What the fuck?
“Come on, Isaac.” She tapped him.
“It is the truth, though. She is just a bitch, and you do not have to worry about her now that you have me. And she is only a human; she will age and die before you know it, whereas you will live far longer than her on Earth.” Isaac said it nonchalantly before returning to his bed.
Serena looked at him and smiled. She was always at her best when her brother was present. She was always happy and never worried about anything in the world. She rested beside him before engulfing him in a bone-crushing hug.
“Woah, that was unexpected!” Isaac chuckled and hugged her back.
“Thanks for everything, Isaac. I am not sure how I would have survived staying here without you.”
“Come on, love. You deserve it.” Isaac mouthed before kissing her on the forehead.
Serena looked up as he abruptly came to a halt. That stop and concentration…
Someone was speaking telepathically to him, Serena sighed at the realization.
“What is it?” Serena inquired, her curiosity piqued.
“There is a lady, Madam Elena, who is actually waiting for you in the lot. “Why on earth would she want to speak with you?” Isaac frowned, stood up, and arranged his clothes to appear prepared.
“Madam Elena?” Serena inquired, frowning; the name sounded foreign to her.
“Yes, she is his company’s vice president and, let us say, the king’s oldest friend. She is just as strict and tough as him. I wonder what she wants from you.” Isaac said, peering out the window at the parking lot outside.
“In that case, I should really go see her now,” Serena said, getting up and heading for the door.
“Whatever it is, I will find out once I talk to her.” She said this as Isaac stood next to her.
“Wait; I will follow you. I do not trust her; she does not know you.” He remarked as he opened the door.
They both left Serena’s new room and went to the garage to find Madam Elena. Serena’s heart was pounding in her chest the entire time.
Serena could immediately tell that the lady standing outside a white car was the one asking for her once they reached outside. The woman was tall, beautiful, and nothing like Serena. Her blonde hair sparkled in the bright sun, and every part of her body exuded power and elegance.
She moved closer to her as Isaac followed her. When Elena turned to face her, her mouth opened wide.
“Madam Lucas!” She exclaimed. Not expecting the guest to be her. What a surprise!
“Hello there, Serena Williams.” Elena chuckled.
She is laughing. The strict woman was actually laughing alongside her. Isaac exchanged confused looks with her guards but did not say anything.
How is this even possible? She is a fierce and tough woman from the Williams-Zee fashion label.
How is she here? Serena contemplated. Her face showed confusion.
Isaac greeted, “Good morning, madam, Elena,” and the vice president turned to face him.
“Morning,” Elena replied, her face flushed with confusion as she met his gaze.
Serena noticed her confused expression and responded quickly, smiling proudly.
“He is my brother, Madam. He followed me because he was concerned that I was in trouble with you.” She spoke sharply.
“Your brother?” Elena gave a frown.
“I thought you only have one sibling, a female who works for the king’s empire.”
“I thought so too, but it turned out that I have a lovely brother from my father’s side,” Serena explained to her.
“Okay. Understandable; I would like to chat with you over breakfast. “You have not eaten breakfast yet, right?” Elena asked.
“No, madam. But…” She paused.
Madam Lucas was not a friendly woman, but she was suddenly smiling and approaching her. Even though she felt safe around the woman, it was unpredictable and left her confused.
“But, what?” Elena inquired.
“But will the king let me follow you? “I am now his slave.” Her eyes were lowered in shame.
“I am sure His Highness will not mind. “Get into the car.”
“I am sorry for interrupting you, Madam Elena, but I will have to follow you guys. You know, to bring her back to the castle and keep her safe along the way,” Isaac told her.
Serena smiled gently. Of course, Isaac would not be comfortable letting her go anywhere without him.
Elena paused, looking between the siblings, before groaning and rolling her eyes tiredly.
“Of course.”
“I will get the truck and follow you from behind.” “Come here!” Isaac drew his sister closer, putting more space between her and Elena.
“Wait here while I get the keys. “Do not go with her; I do not trust her.” He whispered into her ear before dashing out to get the car keys.
