So, we have a request for you guys tonight, the DJ shouted out over the microphone. Apparently, somebody owes their boyfriend a dance, so the rest of you, grab someone and get on this dancefloor !
Just as I looked over at Lily, I saw that her back was to me and she was swaying lightly to the music. All of a sudden, the song switched and I recognised the new one blaring from the speakers. It was one hell of a sexy song, and my eyes were glued to Lily. That’s when she looked over her shoulder and winked at me, a small smile on her face. As the song echoed around the room, Lily’s hips started swaying to the beat, her dress showing off her pert ass and those long legs.
My mouth fell open as she bought her arms up slowly and threaded them through her hair, her entire back bare. I licked my lips, not being able to take my eyes off her. It was like everyone else in the room vanished, and Lily was the only one I could see. As the slow beat picked up tempo, she turned around slowly and faced me, looking me straight in the eye.
I gulped as she bit her lip and took the clip from her hair. Her golden hair tumbled over her shoulders and at that moment, I couldn’t have looked anywhere else. My eyes followed her as she bought her hand up and motioned me forward with one finger, still biting her lip.
Oh boy, I muttered, feeling the arousal flooding through me like a tidal wave.
I turned around and placed the bottle of beer on the bar, trying to get a hold of myself. As I took a deep breath and went to walk over, I noticed Pete standing behind the bar, a camera in his hand. Why do you have a camera ? I asked, wondering what on earth he needed one for now.
The boss asked me to take promotional shots for the website, he said a little too quickly. If they turn out okay, it’ll save us having to hire a photographer.
Eyeing the camera, I nodded and turned back around. Something seemed off, but at that point I couldn’t have cared less. Lily had her back to me but she was looking over her shoulder, a seductive smile on her face. Taking a deep breath, I pushed off from the bar and walked over to her slowly. I took my time, wanting to savour the view I had of her dancing for me. But the closer I got, the quicker I walked ; my desire to hold her overpowering me.
Stepping up behind her, I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her back against my chest, so there was no space between us. Leaning forward, I placed my mouth at the side of her neck and bit her earlobe gently as she swayed her hips against me. She tilted her neck and bought a hand up, threading her fingers through my hair to urge me closer.
I was so turned on, and there was no doubt that Lily could feel that I was,. As she danced against me, I couldn’t control myself any longer. I slipped a hand under the side of her dress, feeling the smooth skin underneath. Stroking her just above her belly button with the pad of my thumb, I felt her tremble against me. Smiling, I nibbled her neck, tasting the sweetness of her skin.
All of sudden out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash come from the direction of the bar. Frowning, I moved Lily slightly, so my back was now facing the bar, blocking Lily from view. The thought of anyone, espcially Pete, having a photo of Lily like this got my blood boiling. She was mine, and mine only.
But the thought left as Lily turned around and faced me, wrapping her arms around my neck and smiling up at me. I said I’d give you a dance, she whispered against my lips as the music faded away.
Lily, the things I want to do to you right now… I said, grabbing hold of her hips and gripping her tight.
She just smiled and kissed me hard, threading her fingers through my hair. God she was killing me. But I had a feeling that she was close to letting me in all the way, I just had to be patient a little while longer. Pulling away gently, I looked down at her and smiled. Do you want a drink ? I asked, anything to distract myself from what I really wanted to do.
Water, she nodded, It’s getting hot and sweaty in here.
I groaned as the words left her mouth and she looked at me innocently, not realizing the effect she was having on me. Images flashed through my mind of her hot and sweaty, lying underneath me. Taking a deep breath, I tried to shake the image away, but it was just not budging.
I’ll get you that water, I shouted over the music, the scene still playing over and over in my mind.
When I reached the bar, I turned around and saw that Lily had rejoined Jackie and Jen, who were dancing with Dick and Dean respectively. I grinned as I saw Dean grab hold of Jen and pull her close, wrapping his arms around her. And to my surprise, she let him. Shaking my head, I turned around and came face to face with Pete again.
Get any good shots ? I smiled, knowing I had blocked Lily from being in any of the photos.
Some, he said through gritted teeth. Although some people step in the shots and ruin the photo completely.
Man, don’t you hate it when that happens, I smiled, pointing to a bottle of water.
Yes, I do, he said, his voice hardening as he shoved the water towards me.
It was easy to tell he was annoyed, and for some reason that pleased me. Placing the money on the bar, I grabbed the drink and faced the dancefloor. Making my way over, I frowned as a guy stood directly behind Lily. She hadn’t noticed as she was laughing with Jen, but my anger rose as the guy inched closer, his gaze focused on her ass. Squeezing the water bottle, I watched him carefully, my anger rising by the second. But the final straw came when he placed his hands on her hips and pulled her against him, causing Lily to stumble slightly and fall back in to his chest.
A red mist descended and I strided the last few steps, throwing the bottle to the floor. Grabbing hold of the guys hood, I jerked him back roughly and shoved him. Get yours hands off her ! I yelled, white hot fury coursing through my veins. She’s mine.
Yeah, the guy slurred, slinging his arm around Lily’s shoulder and trapping her against him.
Let go of me, she yelled, trying to squirm free.
Hey, Dick said, appearing beside me. You heard the lady. Let go of her.
He just stared a me with a cocky smile, so I stepped forward and got right up close to his face. Touch her again, I whispered, And it’ll be the last thing you ever do.
GET OFF ME ! Lily shouted again, managing to duck out from underneath his arm and moving behind me. Noah, forget it. Lets just go and get a drink.
Taking a deep breath, I nodded, trying to contain the anger that was coursing through me. Putting my arm around Lily’s waist, I pulled her to my side and turned my back on the drunk guy. But as we started to walk away, he grabbed Lily’s arm and tried to pull her back.
Just dance with me once, he slurred. You’ll enjoy it, I promise.
Spinning around, I lunged forward and punched him full in the face, sending him flying backwards as he looked at me in surprise. Blood gushed from his nose and he stood very still with his chest heaving, obviously trying to decide if it was worth fighting back.
I told you, she’s mine. And she dances with me, and me only. So drop it, I said, my voice hard.
Let’s go, Lily said behind me, taking hold of my hand and pulling me away to the side of the dance floor to an empty table.
I collapsed in to one of the chairs and ran my hand through my hair. Sighing, I looked up and saw Lily standing there, staring down at me. I’m sorry, I just saw red when that guy touched you, I mumbled, surprised at my own anger.
It’s okay. I have a thing for tough guys anyway, she joked, sinking down in to my lap. And that guy was an ass.
Nodding, I wrapped my arms around her and lent my head on her shoulder. It was just seeing that guys hands all over you, it made me angry.
Well don’t worry college boy, she smiled, stroking my jaw as she bent down and kissed me lightly. You’re the only one that gets to touch me.
Good ! I grinned, rubbing her back. And it’s gonna stay that way.
The scraping of chairs opposite caused me to look up, and I saw Jackie, Jen, Dean and Dick taking a seat, worried looks on all their faces. Are you guys okay ? Jackie asked, reaching over to rub my shoulder, concern in her eyes.
Yeah, we’re fine, I smiled, It was just a little misunderstanding.
Misunderstanding ?! Dean laughed, looking at me in admiration. You totally told that guy to stick it where the sun don’t shine and then beat his ass. It was awesome.
You’re so juvenile, Jen muttered beside him, but Dean just swung his arm over her shoulder and winked.
Yeah, but you love it, he smirked, raising his eyebrow at her.
As if, she mumbled, casting him an annoyed glance.
But as I watched them in amusement, I saw Jen blush slightly. There was no doubt about it, there was definitely some feelings there. Unfortunately, they were both too stubborn to admit it. Do you see that ? Lily lent down and whispered in my ear, like she was reading my mind. Is it me, or do those two like each other ?
Definitely seems that way, I grinned. But you know those two, they’ll never admit it.
