I laughed as Noah facepalmed, shaking his head at the door. Is he always such a delight in the morning ? I smiled, bending down to pick up my clothes.
This is him on a good day, trust me, he said, walking past me and opening his door. Turning back around to face me, he smiled. Do you want to stay for breakfast ?
I better go back to mine to have a shower and get changed in to some new clothes, I said, walking past him and in to the living room.
As I walked in, Dean turned around from the kitchen counter and his eyes widened as he saw me. They raked down my body, landing on my bare thighs. Frowning, I looked down at myself and realised I was still only wearing Noah’s shirt, that reached just below my ass.
Oh hell, I muttered, shuffling my feet and trying to hide behind the clothes I was holding.
Damn, Dean muttered, walking towards me. I’ll pay you $1000 to dump that idiot and come out with me.
I laughed as Noah walked in behind me. Dean, would you stop ogling my girlfriend. She’s for my eyes only.
Oh come on man, Dean whined, waving his hand in my direction. If a girl walks in to a room wearing just a shirt, I have to look. Especially one that looks like you Lily.
I laughed again as he winked at me. Take a picture, it’ll last longer.
His eyed brightened and he pulled out his phone from his pocket, pointing it in my direction. My mouth fell open as he grinned at me and tilted the mobile. Strike a pose, he whispered.
No ! I yelled, marching over to the front door and looking back over my shoulder.
I wasn’t suprised to see Noah right behind me, blocking Dean’s view. Looking up at him, I smiled and shook my head. He’s a handful that one.
Yeah, he muttered, shaking his head slightly. And I have to live with the guy.
Rather you than me, I grinned, reaching up and kissing him lightly on the lips. Oh hey, I have a soccer match today after college, will you be there ?
Your damn right I’ll be there, he laughed, nodding at me vigorously. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn’t come to cheer you on ?
Oh I don’t know, I whispered against his lips. You’d still be a pretty good one.
He laughed softly and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in a little closer, causing the clothes I was holding to push against his chest. As he rubbed my side, I heard Dean clear his throat from the kitchen.
Ahem, he coughed loudly, causing Noah to sigh loudly and drop his arms from around my waist. But if you two are gonna suck face again, could you do it somewhere else. I’m trying to eat my breakfast over here.
Okay. I’m going. Always a pleasure Dean ! I shouted over Noah’s shoulder.
Right back at ya sister ! He shouted back, his mouth full of cereal.
Looking at Noah, I winked and twirled around, opening the door and walking to my apartment. I’ll see you later gorgeous, he said behind me. Just look for me in the stands, I’ll be the one cheering like crazy.
I’ll hold you to that, I smiled over my shoulder, before opening the door and walking in to my apartment.

Noah POV :
Brushing my hair out of my eyes, I wandered through the stands at the side of the field. The sun was shining overhead, and it was a very hot day. Perfect weather to watch girls tackle eachother if you ask me. But of course, I had my eye on one girl in particular. Scanning the stands, I smiled when I saw Jen at the far end. Making my way over, I breathed heavily when I finally reached her.
Hey Jen, how’s it going ? I smiled, taking the seat next to her.
You want to know how I’m doing Noah ? She snapped, looking at me like I was stupid. I’m sweating buckets, I have an unfinished paper due in a week and I ate a sandwich earlier which I think was out of date.
I stared at her speechless, not knowing what to say. Um that sucks, I shrugged, reaching in to my backpack to hand her my bottle of water. Here, you can have this if you want.
She stared down at the water and made a face. You’re giving this to me ? Jen asked, her voice radiating surpirise, and hope.
Sure, I nodded, handing it to her. If you want it, it’s no big deal.
She looked like she about to cry as she took the water. Thank you Noah, she breathed, clinging on to the bottle as if it was some priceless gem.
Are you ok ? I asked, thinking she was acting a bit weird.
Yeah I’m sorry. I’m just having a tough day. But cheering on Lily will help me feel better.
Smiling, I reached in to my backpack again and pulled out the sign I had made. Holding it up in front of me, I nudged Jen and she looked down, a giggle escaping her lips. You can’t hold that up !
Of course I can, I argued, looking at my handiwork. Lily’ll love it, don’t you think ?
Before Jen could reply, the two soccer teams burst on to the pitch. My eyes immediately scanned for Lily and I found her in no time. Her long blonde hair was tied in a ponytail, and she had on the team uniform, a red shirt and shorts with white socks. She looked beautiful as her hair flew behind her as she ran on to the pitch. Smiling, I watched as Lily looked in my direction and waved. I took that as my cue to hold up my home made sign.
GO ON LILY ! I yelled, jumping up in my seat andwaving the sign. KICK THEIR ASSES !
I laughed as Lily raised her hand to shield her eyes away from the sun. The sign itself was pretty big, with thick black words on a white background, so she would be able to read it. I watched as a huge smile spread across her face and she shook her head. I peeked up at the sign and grinned.
‘Number 13 is my girlfriend. The hottest girl on the pitch. GO TEAM !’
As the match got underway, I sat back down and glanced at Jen out of the corner of my eye. She liked the sign, I said smugly, waving it in her face.
You two really are perfect for eachother, she laughed, shaking her head at me. And although I didn’t say it, I was thinking the exact same thing.
About twenty minutes in to the game, I was jumping up in my seat as Lily scored the first goal. Cheering loudly, I waved the sign and pumped my fist in the air. That’s my girl, I shouted proudly, before collapsing in to the chair and fanning myself with the sign.
The air was getting humid and I was beginning to sweat, so I put the sign on the floor and pulled off my shirt, turning around to hang it on the back of the chair. As I did so, I saw a girl walking towards me, a flirtatious smile on her face. I looked her up and down, eyeing the short white skirt and vest top she was wearing. Giving her a small nod, I turned back around and scanned for Lily again, not wanting to miss watching her looking so happy. But as my eyes finally found her, I felt a tapping on my shoulder. Sighing, I turned around and saw the girl.
Can I help you ? I smiled politely, noticing the way she was staring at my bare chest.
Well I couldn’t help but notice that you’re really in to the game, she smiled, batting her lashes at me. I was wondering if you could explain the rules to me.
Oh, uh how come your watching the game if you don’t understand it ? I asked.
She seemed caught off guard by the question, and she opened and closed her mouth several times, obviously searching for an answer. I waited, slightly annoyed that I was missing Lily play. In the end, she laughed and gently brushed my shoulder with her fingertip.
Truth be told, I don’t really follow the game. I’d rather be getting a manicure or something, she smiled, raking her nails back over my shoulder. But I figured I’d give it a shot. And it seems like I made the right choice.
I smiled, trying my hardest not to grimace. There was no doubt about it, she was a beautiful girl with her short brown hair and big brown eyes, but she was no Lily. Taking hold of her hand and removing it from my shoulder, I smiled politely.
