Chapter 553: From Now On, You Belong to Me

“Alright! I’ll leave Batakov in Niarak. If you need anything, you can always find him,” Ladugin said with a smile.
Five hundred billion dollars was no small amount, even for a super-rich individual.
But for the billionaire Gulowski family, it was just a minor matter.
Especially since it was the King of the Underworld who asked. Even if he wanted half of their assets, the Gulowski family would gladly offer them up.
Moreover, with such a powerful figure as a guarantee, this five hundred billion investment would likely bring substantial returns.
“No matter who you leave in Niarak, I need the funds to be available immediately when I require them,” Flynn said calmly.
“Rest assured, I’ve given Batakov the transfer key. You can use it anytime,” Ladugin replied courteously, escorting the two to the elevator door before turning back to his room.
“What are you laughing at?” Flynn couldn’t help but ask as the elevator descended and he noticed Rose smiling at him.
This woman always had such expressions, making him uneasy.
Last time on Southridge Mountain, she did the same and ended up taking his sports car, forcing him to hitch a ride back with Brandon.
“It’s nothing. I just think you look quite handsome in a suit. Why don’t you wear one more often?” Rose asked with a smile.
In her memory, Flynn had only worn a suit once, and it had left quite an impression on her.
He looked like a walking clothes rack; his whole demeanor was different.
Flynn shrugged and said smugly, “A guy like me looks good in anything. Whether dressed or undressed, my charm remains unaffected. So I wear whatever’s comfortable.”
“Praising you a bit and you’re already full of yourself,” Rose couldn’t help but shake her head.
But what he said was true; Flynn was indeed that type of person.
He didn’t look bulky in clothes but had explosive muscles when undressed, especially his abs-they were something else.
Uh… undressed…
Thinking about it, Rose suddenly recalled the scene from yesterday when Flynn accidentally exposed himself.
No, no…
The image was too awkward and shocking.
If it weren’t for Trusova’s issue weighing on her mind, she wouldn’t have known how to face him when their eyes met.
Sneaking into a villa late at night and catching a man exposed-if the tabloids got wind of this, they would surely create a scandal!
“Full of yourself?” Flynn was displeased by Rose’s response:
“Ms. Sharp, don’t you have any sense? After helping you so much, not even a thank you? And can’t you praise me a bit more?”
He always felt like Rose treated him like an enemy, never feeling satisfied unless she insulted him a few times a day.
“Thank you? You owe the Sharp family your life. Helping out is the least you could do. Why should I thank you?” Rose said with a half-smile.
Flynn almost spat blood in frustration and said gloomily, “Are you planning to hold this over my head forever?”
“Fine, I’ll repay the Sharp family with my life sooner or later. It doesn’t matter.”
Rose covered her mouth and laughed softly: “You said it yourself. From now on, you belong to me. Just be my subordinate!”
If those guys from Demon Island Prison heard this, they’d probably be scared out of their wits.
In this world, only Rose dared to speak to Flynn like that.
Seeing Rose tease him like this made Flynn furious.
It felt like she was taking pleasure in his suffering.
Not one to take things lying down, he lightly punched Rose’s shoulder and pouted:
“Fine then. From now on, I’m yours.”
“You’ve seen everything anyway. Ms. Sharp will definitely take responsibility for me, right?”
“Ew! That’s disgusting!” Rose quickly distanced herself from Flynn upon seeing his shameless expression.
“Who wants to see you exposed? And don’t think you’re at a loss here. I haven’t even settled accounts with you for undressing me when I was drunk!” Rose glared at Flynn fiercely, wishing she could punch this shameless man to death.
Flynn was taken aback and then grinned cheekily: “Why don’t we take responsibility for each other?”
“Get lost!” Rose’s face darkened instantly; she couldn’t stand Flynn’s slick talk anymore.
Seeing that Rose couldn’t take a joke, Flynn sighed: “If I told you that day you undressed yourself while sleeping, would you believe me?”
“Me? Ha! Excuses!” Rose naturally didn’t believe him.
In her mind, Flynn was just an old pervert who would seize any opportunity with beautiful women while pretending to be righteous. Of course he wouldn’t admit to doing such things.
Flynn felt utterly wronged.
That day he saw Rose undressing herself in her sleep and immediately left the room without seeing anything further.
But she didn’t believe him.
Had he known this would happen, he might as well have taken another look or two!
When the elevator door opened, Rose quickly exited to get away from the old pervert.
Flynn touched his nose in displeasure.
After helping so much, all he got from Rose were insults or cold shoulders.
Enough is enough!
Maybe he hadn’t spanked her hard enough last time!
As they walked out of the lobby towards the parking lot, they ran into Lilia.
All three were momentarily stunned-what bad luck!
Neither Flynn nor Rose wanted to deal with Lilia; they pretended not to see her and turned to leave.
But Lilia’s face turned icy as she sneered:
“Using honey traps to scare away my investor and now feeling guilty? Can’t face me?”
“Flynn, weren’t you so arrogant before? Now you’re running away? Cowardly trash!”
Flynn stopped in his tracks and turned around angrily: “Are you sick? Do you feel uncomfortable if you don’t provoke me for a day?”
Even if Lilia’s suspicions were correct, she should be troubling Rose!
Why mock him?
Lilia narrowed her eyes and said coldly: “Rose couldn’t come up with such low tactics. It must have been your idea. Don’t blame others for causing trouble when you’re being despicable!”
The Sharp’s Group had played tricks causing her to lose an eight-billion-dollar investment; Lilia was furious beyond belief.
Her stomach had been hurting all morning; she hadn’t eaten a bite due to anger burning through her insides.
Calming down and analyzing the situation led her to conclude that it was Flynn’s idea all along.
After all, in her mind, Flynn was just a despicable scoundrel who had been in prison-a vile person full of dirty tricks.
Flynn smiled slyly: “Even if it was my idea, do you have any evidence?”
Lilia was momentarily stunned and choked on her words-she had no proof despite knowing it must be true based on intuition alone.
“So there! You need evidence before making accusations. Otherwise, I’ll sue you for defamation!” Flynn raised an eyebrow provocatively.
Lilia looked at Flynn’s smug face and nearly exploded with rage. After calming herself down slightly, she sneered:
“Don’t get too cocky. We found Sordoff once; we can find another Sordoff again. The power of our three-family alliance is beyond your imagination!”
“No no no!” Flynn shook his head: “It’s not the power of your alliance that’s impressive; it’s Layla’s power that’s impressive.”
“Of course that’s relative-to me Layla is nothing!”
Lilia was so infuriated by these words that she nearly blacked out; if she had a knife right now she’d stab Flynn without hesitation.
“Hmph-”
“You think you’re so great but still came crawling to Cherry Blossom Inn?”
“Trying to get investments from Mr. Rainier? Did you even see him?”
“I bet they didn’t even let you near the elevator!”
Lilia glanced disdainfully at the stack of documents in Rose’s hand as she mocked them mercilessly.
