Irene snatched the phone to take a good look just as Kate insisted, it was indeed something to see.
“But….” Speechless, she sat back on the chair in thought. ‘The reporter…’
“Irene, I think things have turned around for the better, right? Dave is all yours now, she is no longer your rival.”
“JUST SHUT UP!” Her voice boomed in the room and all the assistants flinched. Ivy was never her rival in any way, she had her particular reason she wanted to ruin Ivy’s life. Kate froze, with her hands gripping to her chest. Irene was usually calm; all of a sudden she exploded. Wasn’t getting married to Dave always what she wanted? She couldn’t understand her friend anymore.
The day at the restaurant was supposed to be the day Ivy would be completely ruined for good, but a turn of events changed everything… And she didn’t see that coming…
“So what are we going to do?” Kate, having recovered, asked to lighten the mood. “Let her be and forget she even exists, right?” Kate made things worse. Irene knocked over the bedside table and struck the wall. Her hatred for Ivy would never subside until she becomes nothing, “even if she married a billionaire, it won’t change anything.”
Irene wasn’t done yet; she flung her shoe, hairpins, cosmetics, and anything her hand touched to the ground. Kate immediately stepped back as she sensed her anger. All her assistants stood watching her destroy the room in anger. She didn’t scream or roar to show her anger; she just took it out on the exquisite room. She thought her plan worked, but it was a total failure.
She bribed the waitress to put a sleeping pill in her food and also invited a reporter to watch over her and take any relevant photos to humiliate her. The close acquaintance she proposed to her was a Casanova she wanted to sell her to, to rape her and also take her naked photos in order to completely tarnish her image. Since she refused her proposal, she resorted to the only way she could disgrace her at that moment, leaving her to pay the bills knowing she couldn’t afford to pay for it in her situation. She was homeless… Well, that’s what she thought.
After she was done with her wild outburst, she picked up her cell phone and dialed a certain number. Kate breathed a sigh of relief; she was happy it didn’t take all day after all, it’s her wedding day.
“Hello…”
“That wasn’t the reason I invited….”
“Thank you for the invite, it was really a good story.” The voice from the other end sounded vibrant.
Irene stared at her phone in disbelief, ‘a good story, is that what he just said?’
“Are you….” No words of insults came as they were trapped in her vocal cords. She tossed her phone and sat down on the bed.
“So what now?” Kate said as she came closer. “Should we stop? After all, she…”
“Post the other video and do it now.”
“We can do that later; it’s your wedding. Isn’t that more important than spreading so…”
Kate squirmed when she met her glare.
“You know I hate useless people, and if you are one, you can get lost.” Even Dave was a tool to destroy Ivy’s career, so of course, she hated useless people. Kate could only do what she asks; she owes her a lot of debts, and she doesn’t have the money to pay her anytime soon.

Ivy found herself simply sitting back, allowing events to unfold before her eyes. When she initially agreed to meet her sister, she suspected that ulterior motives might be at play. However, she never fathomed that her sister would stoop so low as to purposefully seek to destroy her. It was a revelation that she never anticipated, leaving her uncertain of what her sister was truly capable of. Nevertheless, one aspect remained crystal clear in Ivy’s mind: Irene had transformed into a formidable adversary. She was no longer the sister she grew up with.
After she saw the news when she woke up, she knew Zack kissed her in public on purpose. Falling asleep was proof of that.
‘All those times she still had a deep grudge, for something that happened years ago…’
Her phone rang. *IRENE* This time she didn’t use a strange number. Ivy decided to ignore her a bit before answering the call.
“Did you call to wish me? Thank you in advance.”
“I just called to make my intentions clear….”
“You mean you want to confess.” Ivy cut her off. “I’ll be glad to hear all of it.”
“Really, is that so? You’ve grown some balls, huh.” Ivy keeps surprising her, a sister that was ready to do anything she asks suddenly changed into a courageous badass.
“You made me grow up, Irene. I can finally see the real you; you were just pretending to love me ever since, not knowing you were an enemy.” Ivy said sharply.
“Now you are talking. I like the declaration. I’m gonna make you pay for every bit of…”
“Irene, if you have nothing better to say, end the call. I got better things to do.”
Irene’s blood was boiling, so she made a conscious effort to conceal the intense emotions bubbling within her, ensuring they remained undetectable through the tone of her voice.
“You will regret what you just said.”
“And how do you plan on doing that?” Ivy replied. “Listen, Irene, we shouldn’t be fighting; Father wouldn’t want us…”
“You know how much I hate him, and you still dare to include him in our conversation.”
Irene hung up. Ivy chuckled; the mention of ‘Father’ did the trick. The intense hatred for her father was too frightening, and that was the reason she hates her too.
Her one and only family vowed to destroy her. It was causing immense pain internally despite her brave facade.

Meanwhile at the hotel, Kate had her own troubles.
“Irene is going to kill me! What am I going to do?” Kate was pacing back and forth. The wedding had already begun, and she still hadn’t posted the video.
“It was right here, so where did it go? Please, I dropped my phone right here. Did you see anyone take it?” She asked one of the assistants she found in Irene’s room.
“Well,” she gave an awkward smile. Of course, she saw who took it, but she wouldn’t dare betray him. A man that could crush the rich heir, not to mention a nobody like her. He wasn’t someone to offend.
