Yayoi lifted up her head and closed her eyes, allowing the cold water to land on her face.
She was trapped within her thoughts and didn’t notice that someone was approaching secretly from behind.
Suddenly, she felt a tight hug around her waist. She opened her eyes in shock and turned around, where a handsome but angry face entered her eyes.
“What are you doing? Tormenting yourself or me?”
Morphy didn’t expect the water to be cold. When his hand touched the water, rage emerged in his heart.
Facing his criticism, Yayoi turned her head around in indifference. “It has nothing to do with you.”
Her tone was emotionless.
Morphy’s pupils dilated before he smirked. “Do you regret what you did?”
Yayoi didn’t answer.
Morphy squinted his eyes, a dangerous light simmering from within. He squeezed her tiny chin and forced her to stare into his eyes. However, she was stubborn and gazed away from him.
He smiled seductively and forced himself forward. When his lips were about to press onto hers, she turned around to evade his advances.
“Morphy, don’t make me hate you,” she said coldly.
“Hate me?” Morphy raised his brows before tracing the beautiful curves of her body with his fingers, with emotions lingering on his fingertips.
“Morphy… I… hate… you.” Her voice broke apart as she endured her innate desire.
In her natural and primate instincts, Yayoi lost herself.
She could no longer turn back after so many wrong decisions.
After everything ended, he helped her clean her body before carrying her into bed.
Yayoi pulled the blanket up, covering herself. “Please leave.”
Her sobbing voice emerged from within.
Morphy looked at the woman hiding under the blanket with a deep and dark gaze. “Yayoi, you will only suffer by lying to yourself. Why not just admit it to yourself?”
She didn’t respond.
He continued, “I will wait for you.”
He knew that she was still confused, and he did not want to force her.
Hence, he picked up his clothes from the floor and put them on one by one. He stared intensely at the woman hiding under the blankets before leaving.
He shouldn’t rush when it comes to such matters. He was confident that she would eventually be his.
Yayoi didn’t go to work.
Lina called her many times but she was unavailable. Helpless, she could only ask Rosiley for help.
When Rosiley heard about this situation, she called Yayoi immediately. However, she was still unavailable.
Knowing that Yayoi left her house the night before, Rosiley was worried that Yayoi had met with an accident on her way home.
Concerned, she drove straight to Yayoi’s house. Once she reached her house, she went to knock on the door when it was pushed open from the inside.
The person who Rosiley saw stunned her.
Morphy also didn’t expect to see his sister-in-law here. He was dumbfounded as well.
After a long while, Rosiley spoke. “Why are you here?”
“He is here. What about Yayoi?”
“Could they have?”
Morphy didn’t seem to be frightened. “sister-in-law, we are all grown-ups. I shall not explain.”
