Damian takes a seat and looks at them. His eyes met Teresa but only one glance. Just by one glance, he could see how much slutty she is. Her eyes are begging for him to bring her under him.
“It’s such a delightful to have you here, Mr. Angelo,” Frank chuckles.
He hummed.
“Please, have a taste of our food before we start our conversation,” Frank politely smiles, gesturing him to dig in.
Damian stares at the food on the table. Everything looks delicious and not suspicious. Still, he can’t fully put his trust in this guy.
“I come here to discuss and not have a…. dinner,” Damian slightly pushed the plate.
“Oh, we just thought we could discuss it while we are eating,” he chuckles. Seeing Damian just gazes at the food with disgust, “Are you thinking that we are going to poison this food?”
“That’s how people around me,” Damian leans on his chair.
Frank let out a low chuckle, “I’m sorry, Mr. Angelo if you think like that. But I’m sure you that this food is safe to eat.”
Damian just sighs. “Is this your daughter?”
Teresa put down her spoon and fork as she got mentioned. Frank smirks, “Yes, Mr. Angelo. This is my pretty daughter, the one and only.”
With pride, he introduced his daughter. Matthew and Victor exchange looks and gazes at Teresa. Somehow, their expression is nothing but disgust.
She’s pretty but her behaviour is not. They could see it very well.
“What’s your name?” Damian asks.
“I’m Teresa, Mr. Angelo. It’s nice to meet you,” she tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear.
“Hm. I see. How old are you?” he questioned, deadpan.
“I’m 22 years old,” Teresa smiles, leaning forward exposing her breast.
Matthew and Victor look down, holding their laughter. They always met this kind of woman and it becomes their joke.
“You must be a bad one,” Damian commented.
“Not really, sir. I’m more like… a good girl. I follow orders very well,” Teresa blinked her eyes, “But… if you want me to be a bad girl… I can do it too.”
Somehow, Damian just mentally sighs. He snaps his fingers and Victor hands him the paper of agreement.
“This is our agreement about this marriage. It’s just a business marriage and I don’t expect any intimate activities between us,” he put the paper on the table.
“What do you mean by that, sir?” Teresa frowns.
“It’s mean… I don’t want any sex from you because this marriage is not to produce the next heir,” Damian rolls his eyes.
Teresa scoffs, “I will be your wife, sir! Of course, there must be an intimate touch!!”
“It’s an agreement. I just want this marriage for a business since I need it for some reason. I expect your father told you about that,” he glanced at Frank.
The girl looks at her father with a shocked expression. The reason she agreed to this is because she want to have sex with this guy. If she can’t have those what is the point in agreeing to this marriage?
“Dad!”
“Dear, it is one of the agreements,” Frank firmly speaks.
“But-”
She stops talking as Frank gives her sharp gazes. Teresa grunts and leans on the chair.
“Can I speak with my daughter for a moment, Mr. Angelo? I can see she’s getting bratty here,” Frank smiles, as he gets up.
Damian just replies with nods. Frank bowed his head and gestured for his daughter to follow him. They standing outside of the dining room.
“Just go along with it!” Frank whispers.
“Dad! The reason I agreed to this is because I thought he would let me touch him! That’s all and not because of your stupid plan!” Teresa snaps.
“I know, okay? But in the meantime, we just need to go along with his words. Your job is only to seduce him!” he holds her shoulder.
“How am I supposed to seduce him if he didn’t let me near or touch him!?” she frowns.
Frank grunts, “I thought my old wife gave birth to someone genius. Just do what you can do. It is one of your speciality.”
Teresa crosses her arms and huffs. She hates it when her father becomes demanding like this. But, if this gives benefits her, then she is willing to follow.
“Fine. But don’t even judge or stop from what I’m going to do!” she said.
Frank just sighs and nods. As long as his daughter didn’t do something stupid, then he’s fine with it.
They back to the dining room. Damian is still in his position and his eyes watching them like a hawk. Sometimes, Frank felt like this guy was trying to see through him. It makes him anxious.
“So?” Damian’s dark voice speaks.
“We agreed to this marriage,” Frank smiles. He turns to his daughter, “Right, Teresa?”
“Yes. I agreed. We wouldn’t have sex and I will respect your boundaries,” she softly speaks.
“If that so… sign it,” he nods at the paper.
Frank nods. He was about to grab the paper but someone barged in and snatched the paper before he did. Everyone is stunned to see that happened.
Melody standing there, panting and clutching on the agreement paper tightly. Matthew’s eyes widen to see her.
“Melody?” he frowns.
“Don’t… let them sign it,” Melody breathes heavily.
Damian arches his eyebrows. What is this girl doing here? Is she living here or what? He looks at her from head to toe and she’s wearing an animal onesie. So, she must be living here.
“Sir, don’t let them sign this! They are trying to do something behind your back!” she continues.
Frank clenched his fist. He felt like his blood is boiling right now. He gets up abruptly, “I’m sorry, Mr. Angelo. This… this girl is talking nonsense and she kind of has a mentally unstable.”
“Mental… unstable?” Damian smirks slightly.
Melody could hear a hint of mocking in his tone. She held herself from rolling her eyes at him.
“Yes, sir. So, if you excuse me, I have to bring her back to her room,” Frank chuckles.
He stomps to Melody and grabs her wrist. The grips tightened and he leaned on her ear, “You going to be the death of me, Melody,” he said with dripping venom in his voice.
Melody shuts her eyes, knowing she’s dead if Damian doesn’t say anything. She knows how mad her stepfather is right now. Maybe today is her last day in this world. That might be great but it’s not what she wants.
Frank pulls her harshly with him to the dining room. With each step, Melody prays that Damian will say something. Are they acting like they never met her? Teresa already smirking at the scene.
As they were about to step out of the dining room, Damian’s voice boomed in the room, stopping everyone on track.
“Stop,”
Frank looks at him, stunned.
Melody’s eyes which brimming in tears, stared at his. She felt like a heavy stuff had lifted off her chest.
“What is your relation with her?” Damian questioned.
“She… s-she is my stepdaughter,” Frank answers, tightening the grip on her wrist.
“A… step-daughter? What is your full name, Melody?” he looks at her.
Frank and Teresa were stunned to hear he knew her name. How did he know her name? Have they met before?
“Uh, sir. How did you know Melody’s name?” Frank frowns.
“We have met before,” he simply said. “Now, answer the question, Melody.”
“Um… my full name is Melody Juniver,” she answers.
