It is a brand-new day inside Mrs. Johnson’s house as the maids are inside the kitchen’s room preparing the breakfast for Mrs. Johnson family while other maids are mopping the floor at the kitchen as the daily duties inside the house goes on as normal.
Marcella is outside the kitchen talking with her phone with anguish burning inside her heart and contorted look on her face. The anguish that she always feels whenever her mother calls.
“Mom, I have already told you that I don’t have money right now, why can’t you understand that?” Marcella exclaims with a scrunching face, talking with her phone besides the kitchen’s door.
“Darling I have already told you that I’m in need of money now, why can’t you understand that?” Marcella’s mom speaks.
Marcella rolls up her eyes and sighs. “Mom, I’m so sick and tired of you always trying to demand the money from me while you are quite aware that it is not all the time that I usually I have the money.” Marcella says.
Throughout Marcella’s life. Marcella and his mother have been having a lot of misunderstanding throughout their life which caused Marcella to move far away from her home and her mother and go united states to find work.
Even though Marcella is far away from Mexico City but Marcella’s mom has been a pain in the neck since she always demands her daughter to give her money in order to drink alcohol and buy some her stuffs which are of no benefits.
Arianna walks across the house corridors, heading straight towards the kitchen while marcella is outside the kitchen’s room door talking on her phone with her mother.
Marcella scrunches her face. “Mom Listen, I have already told you that I don’t have money for now, why can’t you understand that?” Marcella says.
As soon as Arianna approaches the kitchen, she then sees Marcella standing at the kitchen’s door while talking with her phone.
“Marcella, Marcella.” Arianna calls Marcella as she walks slowly approaching Marcella’s space.
Marcella takes a quick glance at Arianna and then returns back to her phone.
“Mom, the boss is calling me right now. I will call you back.” Marcella says.
Marcella hangs up her phone and then looks at Arianna as she is approaching her space with huge smile on her face.
“Hi!” Arianna greets with a warm smile on her face.
“Hello Mrs. Arianna.” Marcella replies back with the smile on her face.
“How are you doing today? Is everything good?” Arianna asks.
Marcella nods,” Yes, everything is good, thanks madam.” Marcella says.
Arianna walks closer enough towards Marcella’s space and then pats Marcella’s shoulder. “Listen Marcella, I really need your help right now. There is something that I want to ask you and it is really urgent.” Marcella says.
Marcella nods, “Yes Mrs. Arianna tell me what is it?” Marcella asks.
Arianna sighs,” It is about that issue that you warn me about Mrs. Jane. I need to know what is going on? Is there something of a secrecy that I don’t really know or I’m not really quite familiar with?”
After Arianna’s question, Marcella pauses for a sec looking at Arianna with nervousness look on her face as she darts her eyes side to side.
“Oh My God, what should I do now? Should I tell her that I know everything about Mrs. Jane’s and her plan? But what if I ended up getting in trouble?” Marcella speaks to her inner thoughts, darting her eyes on every direction of the kitchen’s room as Arianna looks at her with furrowed brows.
Arianna shakes Marcella’s shoulder smoothly, causing Marcella to startle a little bit with a blank face.
“Marcella! Marcella! Are you alright?” Arianna asks.
“Yes Madam.” Marcella replies.
“Why do you look so nervous? What is the matter?” Arianna asks, lost towards Marcella’s reaction as she looks at her with contorted look on her face.
Marcella nods. “Yes, I’m fine. It is just I was just a little bit taken away by something a while ago that’s all.” Marcella says.
Arianna raises a brow. “Do you remember the question that I asked you?”
Marcella nods with agreement. “Yes, I clearly remember your questions very well.”
Arianna sighs. “So, tell me…. What is going inside this house? and what is going on with Jane and her malicious plans?” Arianna asks.
“Uh! Uh! You should be careful with Mrs. Jane from now on because I think she has little bit of envy on you that is all.” Marcella says.
Arianna raises her brow. “Is that it? Aren’t you hiding anything from me?” Arianna asks.
Marcella shakes her head with disagreement, “No madam, there is nothing that I’m hiding from you.” Marcella says.
Arianna raises her brow. “Are you sure? Are you really sure of what you are saying?”
Marcella nods. “Yes madam. I’m one hundred percent sure of what I’m telling you right now.” Marcella says.
“Arianna! Arianna!” David calls Arianna from the sitting room while Arianna and Marcella are standing talking to each other opposite the kitchen’s room door.
Arianna’s ears perks with full of attention. “Oh, that must be David. We will talk later as soon as we get another chance.” Arianna’s says.
Marcella nods with agreement. “Okay, we will talk later for sure.”
Arianna walks away from Marcella and goes back to the sitting room in order to listen to David’s call, leaving Marcella standing looking at her as she walks away from the kitchen’s room with the conscious feeling inside her heart.
Marcella clenches her teeth. “Oh My God, I really feel so bad for what I have just done to Mrs. Arianna. But what am I supposed to do? I don’t want to end up getting in trouble for snitching on Mrs. Jane, they may even decide to chase me far away from this house if I tell Arianna the truth.” Marcella speaks to her inner thoughts, looking at Arianna as she is walking back to the sitting room.
Marcella continues, “But from now on it is my duty to protect her from anything that Mrs. Jane will plot against her even if it means costing my on life to accomplish that mission.” Marcella nods her head with agreement, looking at Arianna as she is walking heading to the sitting room.
