Jane and Mrs. Johnson are on the top of the bedroom’s mattress, sitting on the top of the bed while stressed as David is walking inside the bedroom with his hands folded on his back as they are all stressed out with the missing of Brian.
“Frankly speaking this is really insane, how did this happen? Did you recognize the culprit who kidnaped your son?” Jane asks the question with anxiety on her face as she looks at David while he is moving around the bedroom’s room.
David sighs and stops walking immediately, going towards the place where Jane and his mother are sitting on the top of the bed.
“This is really quite difficult for me to work on. At first, I thought that everything went well during the police operations but after receiving the news recently, I’m starting to lose hope again slowly as the time goes by.” David says as he sits down on top of the bed together with his mother.
Mrs. Johnson furrows her brows and interjects. “But I thought this issue was going to end really soon, so what happened now David? Did the police managed to capture the culprit who kidnapped Brian?” Mrs. Johnson asks the question with the face filled with curiosity.
David sighs. “For the reports that I received this evening is that, when the police went to the place that they suspected Brian will be there, they did not find the culprits on that place at all.” David says.
Jane knits her brows. “So, does it mean they did not arrive in time at the scene, right?” Jane asks.
David nods slightly. “Right.”
Jane sighs. “This is really tough David, how are you going to rescue your son in this kind of situation?” Jane says.
Mrs. Johnson interjects. “Yes David, how are you going to rescue your son like this, It seems that the police have failed to located your son up to now.”
“I don’t know what I’m going to do now, but I guess I will have to wait for their call first before making any move on the search of my son.” David says.
A pause of the moment of silence follows inside Jane’s room as they are all sitting on the top of the bedroom’s mattress, thinking on what to do in order to help Brian out so that he can be free from the culprits.
“So, David how are you going to address this matter concerning the issue of the missing of Brian to your wife?” Jane asks, her look demands explanation as she looks at David straight on the face.
David sighs. “I’m not really sure about that but I’m planning on solving this matter as soon as possible without informing her about anything.” David replies.
“What about her scandal David? Are you going to leave it just like that and forget like nothing happened?” Jane asks with a blank face.
Mrs. Johnson furrows her brows and interjects.” Jane please this is not the perfect time to discuss about this matter.” Mrs. Johnson says.
“But mom, when is it going to be the perfect time to discuss about this matter?” Jane asks.
Mrs. Johnson nods and sighs. “I know that you are right and there is a need of actions that should be taken, but darling right now it is not the perfect time for all of that, okay? “Mrs. Johnson says.
“What if the baby that Arianna is carrying is not David’s son, do you think we should continue to keep quiet and not saying anything concerning this matter.” Jane says with dissatisfied look on her face.
As Jane and her mother continues to argue to each other, David’s starts to get irritated inside his heart by Jane’s speech as he looks at her with a contorted look on his face.
“Okay that is enough Jane!” David exclaims at Jane.
Jane and Mrs. Johnson takes a quick glance at David while taken aback by his reaction.
David continues, “There is no need of discussing this matter right now. That is enough both of you.” David says.
Jane looks at David with her facial features hardening. “But David don’t you think that you are being a little too harsh to us. What we are saying here it is really the truth.” Jane says.
David stands up from the bed with grimace look on his face and then looks at Jane.
“I know what you are saying to me it is really the truth, but what do you want me to do? Do you want me to chase Arianna far away from home with her condition like that and not knowing what really happened to her side?’
Jane raises a brow and looks at David. “Don’t be so naive David, after all these years that you have been with her, haven’t you already studied your wife properly? What if she is lying to you about her pregnancy and the scandal that she has been involved in.” Jane says.
Mrs. Johnson interjects. “Jane Stop, that is enough. There is no need of speaking to your brother like that, don’t you see that he is so stressful right now.” Mrs. Johnson says.
“Yes mom, I know that he is really stressful right now but the truth shall always be said no matter the circumstances.” Jane says.
“Okay that is enough Jane! There is no need of keeping on talking on that issue right now.” David says.
“Why David? Are afraid of confronting your wife for the crimes that she has committed against you?” Jane asks.
Mrs. Johnson pinches Jane’s skin on her arm with a grimace look on her face. “Jane that is enough, this is not the right time for that discussion.” Mrs. Johnson says.
David sighs. “Mom, Jane is right about that. I think i need to take action on what Arianna has done to me.” David says.
“So, what are you going to do son? Are you going to chase your wife out of the streets?” Mrs. Johnson asks David a question with a contorted face.
“First I need to find Brian to the place where he is right now, and second I will deal with this issue concerning Arianna after that.” David replies.
Jane furrows her brows. “But how are you going to do that? The police haven’t figured out yet the place where your son might be at this time.” Jane asks.
“Don’t worry, I will figure it out soon by myself.” David says.
The phone rings inside David’s pocket, and then David plants his hand inside his pants pocket and takes off his phone and answers it.
“Hello.” David speaks.
“Hello, is this David?” The person on the phone asks.
“Yes, it is me and who are you?” David asks with knitted brows.
“Listen I’m the one who have kidnapped your son Brian, but after what you did by sending the police to the place that we are right now. you have really put your son into serious trouble.” The kidnaper replies.
“Hold on wait a minute, I need to speak with my son right now! Where is he?!” David speaks with the voice of command.
Shortly the voice of Brian echoes from the phone speaker.
“Daddy, Daddy please help me, please help me.” The voice of Brian comes out of the phone speaker, causing David’s heart to shutter down into pieces.
“Brian are you alright?! Are you Alright Son?!” David asks.
Jane and Mrs. Johnson looks at each other, taken aback by David’s reaction.
“Listen. Now we have reduced the numbers of weeks and if you want to see your son again, you should bring us our money in no more than 21 days, Goodluck.” The kidnapper says.
The beep of the cut phone call follows immediately after the end of the phone call, causing David to remain with confusion.
“Hello! Hello!” David speaks in a louder voice without getting any response from the kidnapper.
