Alex is inside the compound with tommy, sitting inside the compound planning on their next move that they can use in order to get money from Mrs. Johnson’s family, the move that it may become a challenge on the mission someday.
Tommy arrives at the place where Alex is sitting with his chair, and pulls out the chair resting besides him nearby the room and sits closer. Looking at Alex face to face as Alex is sitting in front of him with his hands folded.
“Hello boss, how are you doing?” Tommy asks with a smile widening on his face.
“Thanks, I’m doing great. Did you give the kid the food to eat?” Alex asks.
Tommy nods with affirmation. “Edward is there at the kid’s room. I don’t know if he has given the kid the food or not.” Tommy says.
“You should make sure that the kid gets the food at the right time, we cannot afford to putting him into a risk of starvation.” Alex says.
“Don’t worry about that, I’m sure Edward is giving the kid the food right now.” Tommy says, assuring his boss about Brian’s safety.
As Alex is sitting together with Tommy, he then starts to scan around the compound while sniffing his nose with a contorted look on his face.
“Eww! The place looks ugly awful, It seems like there is a dead rat inside here the compound.” Alex says.
Tommy takes a quick glance inside the compound and starts sniffing his noses to clarify Alex’s suggestions.
“You got a point. it smells like there is something that has rotten for quite a while, like let says, a dead rat.” Tommy says.
Tommy returns back his gaze back to Alex and continues talking, “But are we going to do, we have nowhere to go up to now.” Tommy says.
Alex sighs. “I hope these people will be able to get that money as soon as possible because I cannot afford to stay here for so long in these such conditions. Just take a look at the boxes inside the compound,” Alex waves his hand towards the box’s direction and continues speaking. “These boxes have been inside here for quite a long time now, what if there is a dead rat or a snake inside the boxes.” Alex says.
Tommy nods with affirmation. “Yeah, you are right about that.”
As Alex and Tommy are talking to each other, suddenly the sound of the stomping of the footsteps on the floor spreads inside across the compound while Tommy and Alex are sitting on their chairs, continuing talking to each other.
When Tommy and Alex turn their heads and looks at the person coming towards their direction, then they both sees Edward rushing towards their direction while breathing heavily with his eyes wide open and his mouth wide agape.
“Boss! Boss.” Edwards calls.
As soon as Edward arrives towards Tommy’s and Alex’s direction, Alex and Tommy looks at Edward with blank faces.
“What is the matter Edward? Why are breathing like that?” Alex asks, demanding explanation from Edward.
“We have a serious problem boss.” Edward says.
“What is it Edward? What do you mean by that?” Alex asks.
Edward speaks with a shaking voice. “The kid has gotten away.” Edward says.
Tommy knits his brows and looks at Edward. “What do you mean by that Edward?” Tommy asks.
“The kid has escaped from this compound; he has run away.” Edward replies.
Alex stands up from his chair quickly with a contorted look on his face while Tommy looks at Edward with furrowed brows.
“What? What do you mean he has escaped from this compound?” Alex asks.
Tommy interjects. “But I left you with him a while ago.” Tommy says.
“I know, but after I finished giving him his food. The kid asked me to bring him some water to drink, and when I returned back to the room that we tied him, he was already gone.” Edwards says.
“Damn it!” Alex exclaims with the anguish burning inside his heart.
Tommy stands up from his chair and looks at his boss.
“So boss, what should we do right now?” Tommy asks, standing steady waiting for his boss command.
“Both of you should go to the streets and start looking for the kid right now and make sure the kid doesn’t go really far away from here, is that understood?” Alex says.
“Yes boss!” Tommy and Edward replies.
Tommy and Edward’s darts away from the compound, leaving Alex with a contorted look on his face as he faces the window inside the compound.
“I hope this kid is not far away from here, because if I will not get him on time. I don’t know what I’m going to do to his aunt Jane next.” Alex speaks to his inner thoughts as he looks straight at the window.

It’s dark in the night as Arianna is inside her bedroom together with David, as David is sitting on the top of the bedroom’s mattress, looking at his wife Arianna at the bedroom’s closet as she is looking for the night dress.
Arianna closes the bedroom’s closet halfway and looks at David.
“David, have you seen my night dresses around here inside this room?” Arianna asks.
David shakes his head with disagreement and smiles at Arianna. “No, I haven’t seen them.” David says.
Arianna opens her closet door again and then starts looking for a night dress inside the closet. “But as far as I know, I remember putting them on the middle of the closet section,” Arianna knits her brows and continues. “but right now I can’t actually sees them anywhere.” Arianna says.
David shrugs his shoulder with twisted lips. “Sorry… I don’t know about it.” David says.
Arianna sighs and closes the closet door halfway, looking at David straight in the eyes.
“What is the matter David? Are you alright?” Arianna asks.
David nods with agreement. “Yes, I’m alright.”
“But you don’t look alright, what is going on with you darling?” Arianna asks.
“It’s just I’m so exhausted right now that is all.” David replies.
Arianna furrows her brows. “Is that it, are you sure of what you are saying to me?” Arianna asks.
David nods with agreement, “Yes I’m sure. Don’t worry about me.”
“Okay.” Arianna replies.
Arianna turns her head back at the closet and continues looking inside the closet, leaving David looking at her with a cold stare on his face.
“I’m not done with you yet. I’m just waiting for you to give birth first on the baby that you are carrying so that I can get rid of you for good this time and take my children with me under my custody.” David speaks to his inner thoughts while staring at Arianna with a cold face as Arianna is at the closet looking for her night dress.
“I strongly believe David is up to something, but what I’m going to do? I need to find more evidence to prove my innocent of the allegations against me before it is too late.” Arianna speaks to her inner thought with a nervous look on her face.
