Angel POV.
They didn’t come back by the time for dinner as they promised and Blair was calling them, she tried to hide while on the phone, but she couldn’t hide from six littles, especially when one of us is young enough to want to be near an adult at all time.
“What did they say?” I asked Katie when she was back in the bedroom with us, I slept in Evelyn’s room, which my daddies have taken over, but tonight, I guess I’m sleeping with the girls until they get over here.
“I only heard B’s part of the talk,” Katie answers and I roll my eyes at her, she could understand some things from that part.
“Then tell us what she said,” Lyssa says.
“She said ‘Mhm, mhm, mhm… I understand,'” she says and Lyssa just laughed.
“Anything else?” Lyssa asks.
“I’ll take care of it,” Katie says ending the chat which meant that we didn’t get anything from Blair, I could ask her to let me talk to my daddies again, maybe this time I call daddy instead of Papa to get him to tell me some more but I’m mad at them both for grounding me.
“I’m tired,” Katie says laying down on the bed, she yawned and placed a finger inside her mouth, sucking on it as she fell asleep, I looked at Ilyssa who shrugged.
“I have insomnia, don’t expect me to sleep, but I can sit next to you until you do,” Lyssa offers.
“You don’t want to try?” I asked her, I was sleepy but very mad at them to fall asleep, I was in so much rage that sleep wasn’t coming, not tonight.
“I’m not tired,” I say laying on the bed next to her, I look at Katie, but she’s deep asleep.
“I bet you’re exhausted, that was a long day,” Lyssa says.
“We had the same day,” I remind her, we spent the whole day together.
“I was only told off, you got grounded,” she says with a shrug.
“How did you know that?” I asked her, I didn’t tell her so.
“I heard you,” she says and I shrug, they weren’t very loud but not too quiet either and with the whole house sleeping, she could probably pick the chat up.
“Okay,” I say and close my eyes, I’m mad at them, I’m not going to sleep, I’m staying awake until they get here so I can yell at them for doing that to me.
“I love cuddles, no one cuddled me before the vampires took over,” Lyssa says sleepily hugging me, cuddling me, I hugged her back, I didn’t want to sleep, but she needed the hug and that’s why I hugged her back, that until my eyes refused to open again, I stayed asleep.
“Should we leave her here?” I heard a voice mumble.
“I just need to get to bed, your call Hunter,” Logan the other voice says, they both got closer to me, kissing the top of my head, I scrunched my nose at them, Lyssa was a much better friend than both of them, thankfully they left me to sleep next to my friend instead of taking me away toward their room.
I woke up the next morning, and both me and Lyssa slept in, we clearly needed our rest and we didn’t want to wake up early, too tired to open our eyes or leave the bed yet, so we stayed in until we felt a creature jumping on top of the bed, jumping on us, and trying to push us apart to get us to wake up.
“Katie, go away,” Lyssa groans, so that’s the thing on top of us, I ignored her and tried to get back to sleep.
“No, wake up, Hunter said I can wake you up,” she says and I groan, he had to send the cutest girl alive to wake us, and I didn’t want to hurt her.
With a groan, I woke up and so did Ilyssa, we both got out of bed and moved around the house getting ready for the day, I wasn’t sure if I was going to work today or not, I hoped that I was going to work, although I loved spending the day with the girls, I prefer working and not to stay at home.
“You don’t have to get dressed for work,” Hunter says as I walk into our room to get some clothes.
“Again?” I asked very hurt, they couldn’t keep me home every day, this wasn’t fair.
“You’re not grounded anymore, you got an appointment,” Hunter says.
“What kind of appointment?” I ask him with a raised brow.
“It’s a doctor’s exam, you need to get your physical,” he says and that’s worse than being grounded, I prefer to stay home and not go anywhere.
“Pass, thank you,” I say with a smile on my face.
“It’s not up to you,” he says but it was, I wasn’t going to the doctor, I wasn’t hurt, I’m feeling great.
“I don’t need the doctor, I’m good,” I assure him.
“Just get ready, and go see your papa, he misses you,” Hunter says but last night all papa wanted to do was sleep.
“Then he shouldn’t have been that late at work,” I say with a big pout, getting angry at him.
“We’re sorry it took us too long to finish work, I got myself in trouble and Papa had to save me,” Hunter says coming toward me, going down on one knee, pulling me toward him, hugging me tight, and taking a deep breath near my neck.
“Daddy…” I say with worry.
“Yes, little bear?” he answers me.
“Are you going to eat me?” I ask worriedly, he’s still a vampire after all.
He froze at first not understanding my question, but after a couple of seconds he laughed, he laughed out loud and pulled back from the hug, he looked at me with a smile and then attacked me with fake bites, I screamed with fear and might have peed just a tiny bit, but it’s due to the fear not cause I’m a baby.
“What’s wrong? What’s going on?” Logan says running in, I ran to him, his evil mate is about to eat me.
“He tried to eat me,” I cried to Papa.
“Really Hunter,” Logan scolded him.
“I’m just playing with her,” Hunter defended himself, but I was too mad at him for that, it’s not nice playing.
“Be nice to the baby, don’t scare her,” Logan scolded him one more time before leaving the room with me in his arms.
“I need to change my underwear,” I whisper to Logan, who nods and takes me toward the bathroom to change.
“Why am I going to the doctor? I’m fine,” I try to explain to Papa that I’m fine.
“It’s a routine check-up, nothing too serious, you need to go through it to be cleared for the school, we have those as well,” he assures me.
“It won’t hurt?” I ask him.
“Of course, it won’t, I’ll be right there with you,” he assures me, and I trust him right now.
“What about the rest of the girls?” I asked him, they were supposed to be joining the school as well.
“They had their examination or would be having theirs very soon,” he answers me.
“Oh, okay,” I say, we all got our breakfast and Blair was around, she was sitting and having her breakfast with the rest of the girls.
“Are you staying with us?” Lyssa asks me.
“No, she’s off with us today,” Hunter answered for me, I wasn’t happy about it, but we had to go, and they had me sitting in the car seat as they drove toward the doctor’s office, a big pout on my face, I don’t like doctors.
“Tell you what, once we’re done, we can have ice cream,” Logan offers me.
“Nu want it,” I whined.
“We’ll see then,” Hunter said as he kept on driving, I tried to look out the window to see the streets but they were different from the days I used to drive and I wondered about my old car, my old house.
“Hunter,” I say getting his attention.
“Yes, baby?” he answers me.
“What happened to my car?” I ask him curiously.
“Towed away, you don’t need a car,” Hunter says.
“We got our personal chauffeur, him,” Logan says pointing to his mate making me chuckle.
We parked in front of a building that I recognized, it’s the same one from the day I was classified as a blue, but this time I had two vampires on my side as we walked in, they gave my name to the nurse and took a seat, I noticed a girl from my first visit here, Victor the guy who was here and took our questionnaire, sitting next to him dressed in blue was full glam, I don’t remember her name, but I was happy seeing that they’re together still.
“Black, you’re next,” Victor says calling us to go in.
The doctor looked to be nice but I don’t trust doctors, he told my daddies to get me on the scale, and they did, taking my height and weight, I have lost some weight since joining the vampires, and that made me smile a tiny bit.
“She lost weight, are you feeding her?” the doctor scolded them, I turned to him with a pout, that’s not fair, I’m happy about being a bit thinner.
“Of course,” Hunter answers him.
“Three meals a day? Snacks included giving her plenty of water,” the doctor asks, I’m not a child, I’m having most of those every day.
“Of course,” Hunter answers him while I glared at him, a die bitch glare.
“Put her here,” the doctor says pointing to another chair, it looks like a dentist’s chair, daddy picked me up with ease and placed me over in that chair, they both stood near me, holding both of my hands.
“Now say Ah child,” the doctor says and I close my mouth tight.
“Come on baby, please,” Logan begged me, and I kept shaking my head no, the doctor had to use some force to make my mouth open and check my teeth.
“She has two that need to be fixed, we can set an appointment for those,” the doctor says and I cry, I hate doctors and dentists especially because he looks and sounds evil.
Logan picked me up and tried to pet my back, trying to calm me down, saying it was all okay, but nothing felt okay right now.
