Vincent POV
Rory been holding in to ellie since dinner, he let her feed him and now he want to sleep with her. He’s never this clingy well at least not with anyone other than me. He’s independent most days, in the year we’ve spent together he never acted like this.
We did talk about him becoming a vampire after Sophia went through her change, we agreed on it. He was scared of being suddenly changed so I decided to give him a chance to know what’s he’s getting in to, hence the class.
Something most have happened during class, I knew the teacher wasn’t the nicest person but it’s the only class available for this semester and since the war we’ve been through with Solonik family. I didn’t want to risk it, Rory is the only one for me, and I refuse to have another sub, so the class will have to do.
I don’t know when I’ll change him but soon, better be safe than sorry. I decided to let him sleep over at Elise, being sad is making him slip to his little space and I really love it when he does that. I want him to get used to being in his little space, it’s who he is meant to be so I know it’ll make him happy and more relaxed. Plus once he do get changed to vampire he’ll practically be a baby for the first month, I don’t want that experience to shock him.
I got him an overnight bag ready with diapers, pacifiers, bottle, pj and school uniform for the morning , I also added hygienic stuff. I deliver the bag to ellie room and go to give him a goodnight kiss but once he saw me he went to hide somewhere.
“Hey Vincent it’s okay I’ll take good care of him and you’ll have him back in the morning” Elise says
“Okay if anything happen just call me” I reply and she nods.
I don’t go to my room, I don’t feel like sitting there alone. I go to Dimitri’s hoping his little brat is already asleep.
“Hey she’s sleeping?” I ask after I let myself in.
“Yeah just keep it down” ~Dimitri
“Got any of the good stuff?” I ask meaning alcohol laced with blood.
He go to the kitchen he got them hidden in the highest shelf, so Sophia won’t be able to reach. Pouring us two generous glasses.
“Wanna talk about it?” ~Dimitri
“He’s mad about being changed “~Vincent
“He don’t want to be changed?”~Dimitri
“No it’s just I enrolled him in intense vampire class to get him ready, I think he’s scared I’ll do it suddenly like you and Sophia” ~Vincent
“Oww talk to him… I wish I talked to Sophia maybe then she wouldn’t been kidnapped. He’s probably scared” ~Dimitri
“Yeah you’re right I’ll try to talk to him in the morning” I reply.
We sit in comfortable silence, we’ve been friend since the day we were born, it’s funny that we both ended up being daddy doms and our littles are best friends now. I love Sophia and I’m glad she’s friend with Rory, I might call her brat but she’s our family brat.
I lean back in my seat and feel something poking my back I reach back and it’s one of Sophia many toys it look like it belong to her kitchen set.
Which gives me an idea “hey man you well with going shopping tomorrow?” I ask
“Sure where to?” he ask
“I’ll show you tomorrow, you think the guys can babysit for us?” ~Vincent
“Sophia got Lucca and Rory seem to be getting close to Elise” ~Dimitri
“Great then I’ll see you tomorrow” I say and leave toward my room thinking about my plan.
I called Elise around 3 am I needed to check on Rory, I couldn’t sleep with him that far away.
“Hello” came Elise sleepy voice.
“Hey I wanted to check on him”
“He’s sleeping Vincent”
“Did he give you any hard time”
“No but you are, goodnight vin see you in the morning”
She says and close the phone, I sigh and try to sleep morning can’t come fast enough.
Well I did end up sleeping for a full hour before it was time to get ready, I was the first one of the family to make it to the cafeteria and just sat down waiting for my baby.
He came in with ellie, I already had some food for him, all his favorites.
“Good morning baby” I say looking at him I really missed him last night.
“Good morning… sir” again with the sir, he’s still mad at me.
“Baby can you be a good boy and listen to daddy while you eat” I say and push the tray toward him, he eat alone usually. He nor his head and dig in the pancakes.
“I’m sorry hunny for not talking to you before, the class is only to get you ready so if anything happens I want you to be ready for the change. I won’t change you till we both agree you’re ready or it’s an emergency. But Rory it’s going to be soon so just be ready for me okay?” I say trying to explain everything to him.
He stop eating and look lost in his thoughts for a minutes then he whisper “okay daddy”.
I kiss his head and let him eat in peace, I have my ways to make him happy again.
I walked him to class as usual and went to mine, hardly paying any attention to the teacher, I’m busy planning for later. Before the bell ring I got an msg from Timmy asking me to go to Rory class and that’s it’s an emergency. I stand up abruptly, don’t bother excusing myself I just run toward my baby.
