Staying away
After the class was finally over we were done for the day, Vincent picked me up and put me on his hip.
“I can walk” I say still sniffling.
He ignore me and look at Dimitri “got a tissue” he ask and Dimitri hand him some, he try to wipe my face but I won’t let him pushing his hand away with both of mine.
He walk us straight to our room and set me down on my feet I try to get away but he take hold of my arm.
“Stop with the attitude Rory, you’re mad since I plan to change you but that won’t change a thing you’re still getting changed. Not today and not tomorrow I’m giving you time to learn about what’s like to be a vampire fledgling. Be a good boy for daddy and behave” ~Vincent
He let me go and I run toward his room, I don’t sleep with him every night, I got my own bed in the other room. But his bed is a bit higher and perfect for hiding under it, not the best hiding places but it will do.
His words didn’t make me feel better at all, if he talked to me before sending me to that awful class I wouldn’t be mad. We talked about this after Sophia accident, he told me I’ll be a vampire one day, that he’ll tell me beforehand. If this is his way of telling me, then it’s a terrible way.
Somehow I still had some tears to cry, I was never a cry baby, hell for someone with my little age I don’t cry at all. After another episode of crying I fell asleep still hidden under the bed.
I woke up to Vincent voice.
“Baby it’s time for dinner”
I don’t wanna get out, I’m safe here.
“Rory please come out don’t make me drag you out”
My answer is still no
“Baby boy be good for daddy and I’ll let you chose your own desert”
Tempting
“Rory I’m counting to three get out or I’m dragging you out and no dessert”
From bribery to threatening classic.
“One…. come out and you’ll still get your desert….. two Rory…..”
“I want to sit on my own” I negotiate
“Fine now out” he reply.
I get out a bit sore from being in the same position for too long. Vincent take my hand and drag me to the bathroom, against my protest he wash my face and hand. He change my diaper and clothes to some sweats.
Once at the door he offer me his hand but I refuse.
“Hold my hand or I’ll carry you” he says casually, I don’t want to he carried so I give him my hand.
At the cafeteria he fill my plate with food will I eye the deserts, I chose a big cupcake with frosting and edible glitter on it. We go to sit in our normal table, Sophia is already there whining she’s not hungry.
Usually I’ll sit in Vincent lap or next to him, this time I run and sit between Dante and Elise. They all look at me weird, they knew what happened this morning and my puffy face is another clue.
Vincent let my seating choice slide and sit opposite to me, I wasn’t hungry either I just wanted my cupcake. I try to take it off the trey but it’s snatched away, I look up expecting it to be Vincent but its Dante.
“Tsk tsk sweaty you need real food first” Elise says to me.
I pout and cross my arms in front of my chest, I didn’t want to eat or come here to begin with.
Elise chuckle and take my fork off the trey and start feeding me, no one ever spoon fed me except Vincent. I’m skeptical first but she make plane noises and my little side like that.
She fed me my whole plate and told me I can have my cupcake now.
I look up to see that Sophia have a cupcake too but she’s attacking it with her fangs and making a big mess, she looked adorable.
I tried not to make a big mess like her but it’s a cupcake with frosting so don’t blame me. When I was finally done Dante wiped my face for me.
I know we’re all family and they all help with taking care of each other but this is my first time being taken care of, I liked it.
After dinner we all went to Dimitri’s dorm, me and Sophia wanted to watch “miraculous lady bug” new episode and the others just tagged along, they’ll probably talk about family business.
When it was time to leave I went and hide in Elise arms, I didn’t want to go with Vincent.
“Aunt elite can I sleep with you” I slipped to my little space, even when little I know that I don’t want Vincent he’s mean.
“You need to ask your daddy Rory” ~Elise
I shake my head no, when she tried to leave I hug her leg and cry wanting to stay with her.
“That’s enough Rory let her go, it’s bed time” ~Vincent
“Nuuuu I wanna sleep with aunt ellie” I cry.
He tried to pry me off her but I climbed her leg and looked at her with pleading eyes. She sighed and pulled me up her arms.
“Vincent I don’t mind let him sleep with me tonight” she says softly
“No” Vincent reply through gritted teeth.
“P… please… d… da… daddy can… I sl… sleep with aunt… ellie” I stutter
Vincent look hurt from my request, he look up at Elise who nods.
“Just this time, I’ll drop his overnight bag in a few” he says and leave the room.
“I wanna have a sleep over at aunt ellie too” Sophia pout.
“Princess I get scared at night you can’t leave me alone” Dimitri replied while snuggling her in his arm.
They all chuckle and ellie tell me to say goodnight before she carry me toward her room.
