Xenia glanced at Olivia, “Hey, come on let’s go”
“What about Morgan? That man wants him to come, who knows what he’ll do to him.” She freaked, remembering what the man told her earlier, about killing Morgan.
For some reasons, Olivia couldn’t move her foot, she couldn’t leave when knowing Morgan was in there, it’s not like she could or anything, her heart ached, it ached for him.
“Please let’s go, it won’t be nice if we’re caught here. It would be a distraction to Morgan and it would be your fault.” Xenia snapped, becoming impatient.
They were about to leave, when Xenia heard a growl behind her, “You dare to trick us, by putting pills in the food?” He growled, lunging forward at Xenia.
But she was fast, to kick his groin, earning a painful yearn. “Run!” Xenia ordered, fighting the men that kept coming at her.
Olivia turned to run, but before she made it, her hair was grabbed and she was pulled back.
She cursed, suddenly regretting why she grew her hair long.
“Let her go!” Xenia growled, elbowing the man behind her, before giving him a hard kick.
Her voice just then sounded like that of a man, somewhat familiar, but Olivia couldn’t point it out. She might be thinking too much and rubbish, especially now, she was being held.
The man holding her hair was pulling her further into the mansion. No way is she going to go back into the house, not after coming out from it.
Xenia was done clearly by the men around her, she reached for Olivia, punching the man that held her, which he dodged.
He went for Xenia’s leg, but she dodged his attack, quickly releasing the amount of sand on her palm.
L
“Bitch!” He cursed, letting go of Olivia’s hair, as he held his face, rubbing his eyes to get the sand away from them.
Xenia had already grabbed Olivia’s hands and continued running, just when they were about to reach for the exit door, they were halted by an angry growl from an electronic voice.
“You won’t dare to take another step, if you still value your life.” He threatened.
They both turned to the direction of the voice, but didn’t see anyone. Xenia shrugged, thinking he was just kidding, just as she tried to move, the wall behind them was shot at, stopping them abruptly.
“You think I was kidding? Sadly I wasn’t.”
“What do you want with me?” Olivia growled, even though she couldn’t see him.
“You can’t escape me, especially when your fake husband isn’t here yet.”
Olivia frowned and glanced at Xenia, whose expression suddenly turned blank. She knew Olivia was giving her the ‘I thought you said Morgan was there’ look, she remained silent.
“Get you ass right back in there, or do you want someone to do it for me?”
“I won’t dare to go back there.” She spat, her eyes Focused on the direction his voice was coming from.
They could easily run away if he was insightful, but right then, they couldn’t see him nor make out what he was holding, and how close he was.
“Get her!” He bellowed.
Olivia and Xenia turned to see, who he was referring to, but they couldn’t sight anyone, just then, a loud bang erupted from inside the building.
“We have another visitor, let me take a look.”
“It’s Morgan.” Xenia whispered.
Olivia’s feet were suddenly rooted to the floor, just as Xenia was grabbing her hands, about to make for the door, they heard a growl.
“Stop right there!”
Not again!
They paused, turning towards three men that had their guns aimed at them.
Xenia’s hands secretly reached for her gun, as she waited for them to reach closer.
One of the men seemed to notice her movement, and bellowed at her to raise her hands above her head.
With hands raised above their head, they were escorted into the mansion, they were at a very close range, Xenia paused, quickly kicking the man on her right hand.
She grabbed his arm, causing him to pull shot at the remaining two, who were fast to lounge at her.
“Run as fast as you can!” Xenia yelled, pushing off Olivia.
Olivia could sense something was wrong, she frowned at Xenia, who pushed her to get going.
Olivia ran off, unsure of where to go, but she kept running, until she saw a door, she reached for the handle and opened, running into the room.
“Well well well, it seems like fate keeps bringing you back, each time you try to escape.” A familiar voice laughed, startling Olivia, she turned around immediately to see Xavier.
“You!” She widened her eyes, shock and hatred building inside her heart.
“You seem to love me too much, to not notice your darling fake husband.”
Just then, Olivia turned to see Morgan standing at the extreme, with more than five men pointing their guns at him. She swallowed, meeting his gaze, but he looked away almost immediately.
Olivia couldn’t fathom what she felt at that moment, how could all these people gang up against one man, especially if it was done by his brother.
With anger and hatred etched on her, she turned towards Xavier, “I can’t believe you’re this evil! It’s been you all along!” She spat.
“Ohh pumpkin, I’m sorry to let you see this side of me. By the way, how was my voice?” He teased and burst into laughter.
Xavier walked closer, grabbing Olivia’s hair, his finger grazing the flesh on her neck, as he circled around her.
“You have eyes for pretty ladies, too bad you don’t love her.”
“Get your fucking freaking hands off her!” Morgan growled, trying to take a step, but was stopped by the number of guns surrounding him.
“Aww, he’s being possessive. What if I kiss her right now?” He said, bringing his face close to Olivia, but winced and retreated when Olivia gave him a loud and resounding slap.
He got angry and grabbed hair, immediately the lights in the room went off.
“What the hell happened?” Xavier yelled, but was followed by a painful cry that left his mouth.
The sound of the gun was loud and kept coming, Olivia knew nothing but to bend at a corner, just then her arm was grabbed.
She tried to scream, but was stopped by Morgan’s voice, “Shhh, it’s me.” He whispered.
Her shivering body was carried in his warm arms, she leaned in, tears staining her face.
When the lights were back, everyone one of Xavier’s men was on the floor, with blood splattering all over place, the sight was ghastly and frightening.
Morgan left with Olivia on a ship, it was then that she noticed his chest was bleeding, his clothes was draped with blood.
“You’re bleeding!” She half cried, grabbing his arm.
Morgan seemed too calm for a person bleeding profusely, but his face was covered with sweat.
Olivia reached for his shirt, quickly ripping it apart, as she used a large amount of fabric to hold against his injured chest. She could tell that he was shot.
Morgan’s eyes were becoming hazy, closing slowly as a face was slightly furrowed.
“Hey don’t sleep, don’t close your eyes yet, open them please. My phone, where’s my phone?” She babbled, tears staining her face as she used her free hand to reach for inside her purse.
Morgan remained silent, sweat dripping all over his body, he couldn’t hold back how light headed he felt, all he wanted to do was to close his eyes.
But Olivia wasn’t letting him close his eyes, she kept crying, tugging his arms to make him stay awake.
She found Nicholas’s number and quickly dialed it, and it was answered immediately. “Morgan was shot, he’s losing consciousness, i-i I don’t know what to do..” she sobbed, wiping away her tears.
“Hand in there ma’am, I’m getting to him.”
“Please be fast, he might die, he’s losing so much blood.”
Olivia was still sobbing, when she heard the sound of a coming ship, it was riding fast and fast towards them. She paused, praying it was Nicholas and it turned out to be Nicholas, he replaced them in his ship and sped off.
“Please ma, you’d have to wait in the waiting room, he needs an urgent operation.”
A nurse said, stopping Olivia from going into the room with them. Tears stung her eyes, threatening to fall, her heart was aching so hard that she couldn’t endure it.
She couldn’t sit still on the chair, she kept pacing, praying he would be fine.
“Ma’am, you need to rest. I’d drive you to him, so you’d get a shower and eat, I’ll drive you back here.” Nicholas said, moving close to her.
“What about Morgan?”
“I know, he’d be fine. The doctor knows what to do.” He reassured her.
Olivia nodded, and followed him, but not without giving the room Morgan was in at last glance.
She really needed to bathe, her dress and body were stained with blood Morgan’s blood.
“Olivia?”
A familiar voice called.
