Chapter 48

Book:The CEO'S Delicate Wife Published:2024-8-24

Olivia woke up with a splitting headache and uncomfortable ache which cursed through her body, especially down there.
She slowly sat up, only to find out that she was tucked into Morgan’s robe, and then images from last night flooded into her head.
Olivia gasped, covering her mouth as her face turned bright red. She still couldn’t believe that she had sex with Morgan.
Thank goodness, he wasn’t in the room, if not Olivia didn’t know how to face him. She grabbed her phone to check the time, it was almost midday.
Gosh, did she really sleep that long?
Anyways, it was somehow good, as she didn’t get to see Morgan, else she didn’t know what to do or how to behave.
**Redcrest High collage**
“Oh my God! Olly you need to see how everywhere was crowded with wealthy socialites. Would you believe it if I told you that I saw Bianca Idris?!” Sofia couldn’t help how excited she was, as she told Olivia about the auction.
Unknown to her, Olivia was present, but because she was with Morgan, the famous young master, she stayed in the vip room all through.
“Who’s Bianca?” She asked, pausing to stare at Sofia.
“Don’t tell me, you don’t know who Bianca is…she’s a famous fashion designer, her works are all over the world!” she laughed.
Olivia still had no idea of who Bianca is or what she looked like, but, so as not to keep Sofia from continuing chanting and singing praises, she nodded, pretending to know Who she was.
“Did Miss Carla sell off all her designs?” Olivia asked.
“Yes, it was all sold out, and at a very high bid. But I still wished you were among the models, I’m sure we’d make more sales than that.”
Olivia smiled. They were walking into the class, when Olivia caught sight of Nessa and her friends, she paused and turned to Sofia.
“Who is that girl? I overheard her speaking to her friends that she was dating the young master, is that even possible?” Olivia asked, returning her gaze to where Nessa was seated.
Sofia burst into laughter, “Who on this campus doesn’t know that Nessa is a big liar. She keeps saying she’s dating all the big shots and that they are begging her not to leave them. But guess what? They don’t even know her.”
“I saw her at an auction, she was trying to get closer to the young master, but she was driven off by his bodyguards. I had to hold myself not to laugh.” Sofia added.
It was then that Olivia understood what really happened that night. Although she saw Nessa getting close with Morgan, she didn’t know what they said to each other, but his guards took her away.
“Even her friends are gullible, they believe whatever she says.” Olivia sighed.
“Anyways it’s not really their fault. They can’t go against or oppose whatever she says, they work in her family house. Nessa’s family is among the top richest families in Manila, that’s why she’s so annoying and proud.”
“There was even a time when her family, the Gills, brought a marriage proposal for Gilbert’s family. Nessa’s father wanted his daughter to Marry the young master, but the proposal was declined as the young master wasn’t interested in her. If he wasn’t interested in her then, why would he be now, oh pls Olivia don’t believe her lies.” Sofia added, rolling her eyes.
Olivia laughed along with Sofia, as they went into the class. They had the same class to attend.
Olivia was walking home, so she decided not to call Nicholas, as she wanted to walk home by herself.
She hasn’t gone far, when she noticed a familiar black SUV, she stared at the car for a while before she looked away.
Anyways, some cars had the same resemblance and looked like another, she thought inwardly and continued walking.
It wasn’t long before a red BMW pulled up in front of her, the glasses were wined down, revealing Xavier’s smiling and handsome face.
“Hey Xavi,” Olivia smiled and stopped walking.
“Get into the car already, why are you walking home? Did Morgan bully you?” He asked, helping her to open the door, as she got in.
“No no, that’s not it, I decided to walk home today, if it’s too long then I might get a cab.” She smiled, adjusting herself.
“Alright. How were classes? Is there anyone bullying my sister-in-law?” He teased, arching a brow.
“Of course not. You need not to worry.”
“Worry, my foot!” Xavier muttered inwardly.
Inside a black SUV, Nicholas found it hard to breathe as the atmosphere in the car was tense. Morgan was seated in the back seat, as he watched Olivia walk out from school, Nicholas already told him that she did like walking far from school before entering the car, so as not to draw attention.
They waited for her, almost for an hour, before she finally showed up. Morgan was already getting impatient, but when he saw her walking towards them, his eyes couldn’t help but flash with tenderness.
She watched their car for a while, as if thinking of something, but before Morgan could blink, she walked past them and walked ahead.
What? Does she dare to ignore him?
Morgan decided to know what she was trying to do, just then, Xavier’s car pulled up and she smiled at him and got into his car.
How dare Olivia?
Morgan was so angry, that his face turned purple, his knitted brows were deep that they could kill a fly.
She dared to ignore his car, but entered Xavier’s car. Not only that, she smiled at him.
“Follow them!” He growled, slightly startling Nicholas.
**Morgan’s Mansion**
Olivia was about to get into her room, when she heard Morgan’s deep yet cold voice. She paused and turned around to face him.
“You dare ignore my car to get into Xavier’s car? What’s your relationship with Xavier?” He asked coldly, narrowing his dark eyes at her.
Olivia frowned, staring at him with confusion etched on her face.
“Isn’t Xavier your step brother? Is it wrong to get into his car? Besides, I didn’t even see your car.” She replied, meeting his cold gaze.
“You smiled at him. What’s your relationship?”
Now, Olivia was more than confused, the more she tried to understand him, the more difficult he got.
“Smiling at him doesn’t mean there’s something between us, we’re just friends.”
Morgan smirked, “Fuck being friends!” He snapped, startling Olivia.
“Now listen to me, you won’t dare to talk to Xavier again. Remember, I have this contract at the tip of my fingers and I can terminate it anytime and make your life miserable. Just don’t get me provoked.” He warned.
Olivia’s body stilled at his words, her heart felt like it was being poked with needles. She glanced at Morgan, her eyes moistening as she nodded slowly and looked away.
Morgan’s face softened, as he noticed her moistened eyes, he was about to grab her but Olivia was quick to shake him off and slip into her room, locking the door behind her.
