Olivia woke up in Morgan’s room again, she ended up falling asleep after giving him his pills.
Morgan had demanded she stay by, using his death as a lock charm, which Olivia also fell for.
What she couldn’t understand was how she kept waking up in his bed, when all remembered was sleeping on the couch.
She’s definitely going to ask him.
Her gaze searched the room, but he wasn’t in the room. It was still early, which meant he hadn’t left for the office, he was still in the house.
Breakfast!
Olivia hurriedly got up, she was about to get out of the room, when she heard the sound of an opening door, behind her.
She paused, and turned around to see Morgan, walking out of the shower, with his bathrobe loosely hugging his body.
His chiseled chest was in view, his messy wet hair was oozing hot smoke, which he got from the shower.
He was hot and hot!
Olivia couldn’t help but swallow, her gaze quickly washed him up and looked away. Even though she was looking away, her eyes kept trailing back to him, making her cheeks heat up from embarrassment.
“I…I…I didn’t know, you were washing up. I’d just leave already” she stuttered. Her gaze looked everywhere but his face.
Her cheeks were actually heating up, giving it a red glow.
“Who said you could leave?” Morgan’s deep and low, seductive voice murmured.
“Breakfast. I need to make breakfast.” She babbled, suddenly unable to come up with a coherent word.
“Alright.” Morgan chuckled lightly.
With that, Olivia hurriedly walked away from the room. Her heart was pounding in her chest, as she got to the kitchen, bending down to catch her breath.
“Get a grip on yourself! That incident didn’t just happen.”
“He is hot and handsome”
“No you can’t say that, he’s not handsome, he’s not even attractive and especially not my type.”
Olivia kept struggling to keep her cool, as her reminder kept drifting back to Morgan’s hairless and sturdy chest.
After she seemed to have calmed her mind, she proceeded cooking and when she was done she brought it out to the dinning.
Morgan left for the office, as soon as he was done with breakfast.
Olivia was scrolling through her phone, when she saw something that caught her attention. It was posted in the Redcrest High college social media group, the one she was following.
She decided to join the group and follow them online, since it was the easiest way to know more about the school, and get updates from them.
Under the post was the resumption day of the school written. It was just two days away.
Olivia felt an uncertain feeling of uneasiness growing in the depth of her stomach.
The last thing she wanted was to be identified as Morgan’s wife, in the school. She’d rather ask Nicholas to stop the car, very far away from school, then she’d trek to the school herself.
Olivia smiled, when an idea popped into her head. She giggled, feeling more excited about whatever that was going on in her head.
*****
Ava had been chatting with the anonymous person who chatted her up. She was already falling for him, even though she hadn’t seen his face.
He told her that he was rich and handsome and would surprise her one day by showing up, which she agreed to.
She was so happy that she kept daydreaming about him being so handsome and super rich, so that she would flaunt him In Front of Olivia.
Ava’s school would be resuming in two days time, but she hoped it would be postponed, so she could have more time to chat with her new lover.
The Diamond Club,
“Dude, I’m still trying to figure out why you called me here.” Enrique muttered, shooting a questioning look.
“I’m also trying to figure it out” Sean added.
“Can you all just shut up already, he hasn’t even said anything and you’re trying to talk too much!” yelled Josh, who looked pissed.
“It’s alright guys. I’d just go straight to the point.” Xavier said, waving his hands, as if brushing them off.
“I’m sure you know about Morgan’s return to Manila. That asshole decided to change his mind, just when I’m about to become the next CEO” Xavier stated, with a pained expression, which flashed past his eyes.
“I need your help, in any way you can. I just need to bring Morgan down and I have my plans tailed out.”
“It’s not like, were going to say no to any help, you want from us. Common Xavi, what are friends for? As long as you’re in, we’re in, right guys?” Enrique smiled, his gaze darting around their faces.
They nodded in unison. A proud yet genuine smile etched on Xavier’s lips.
“Thank you, guys. I’m happy we’ll be doing this together.” He smiled.
Xavier was glad, he knew, trying to fight Morgan on his own wouldn’t be that easy. He decided to call his friends over, and perhaps ask for their help.
Sean, Enrique, Josh and Xavier, had been friends for a long time. They sought help from Xavier, when they needed a strong Back up, as Gilbert was a big name.
Unknown to Xavier, they had been wanting to take down Klein’s enterprise, so their company’s name could be heard.
They could only achieve that, if Xavier was the CEO, but with Morgan…it was close to impossible.
Now Xavier had sought their help to take down Morgan. How could they reject such an offer?
After Morgan had dismissed the board meeting, he strode out of the board room in large strides, and headed to his office.
Shortly, after he had settled and was focused on his laptop, he heard slight movements outside the door of his office.
He paused, fixing his gaze at the door, and immediately the movements stopped. Morgan’s lips curved into a smile, a sly one.
He refocused on his keyboard, when his phone’s ringtone diverted his attention again.
“Vincent, say the hell why you want to say it already. Don’t make me listen to your breath again.” Morgan growled, his fist twitching to punch Vincent’s face if he was there.
Vincent burst into laughter, be knowing calling Morgan and keeping quiet after he had taken the calm was something that irked him to his bones.
“Okay, okay, I’ve heard you sir, don’t get so worked up. Come out let’s drink, I’ve launched my first project in San Francisco. It calls for drinking and…, oh you’re married.” he trailed off, followed by a loud roaring laugh.
“You asshole. It doesn’t call for drinking, it calls for more seriousness, well I trust your old man.” Morgan grinned.
“You didn’t have to mention that old hunk, it’s going to spoil my mood. And stop being all workaholic and bring your ass right here, don’t forget to bring my sister-in-law, I miss her.” He whined, letting out a laugh.
Now, Morgan was going to punch him for real.
“You wish!” Morgan deadpanned, hanging up the call.
Morgan’s eyes went back to the door, but it seemed that whatever or whoever that was there a while ago had vanished.
