Olivia flinched, looking everywhere but his face.
“Why do you want to terminate the contract?” Morgan asked, retreating from his steps as he walked towards her.
“You never told me, i-i I’d get to bear a child for you. Is that not cheating?” Olivia stated, this time staring at his face, which was very close to her.
“It’s not like I’d tell you the details of the contract, when I was going to just give it to you to read. How’s that cheating?”
Olivia was lost of words, Morgan was right. If actually she read the contract initially this wouldn’t have happened. But she couldn’t let Morgan win.
“Now that I’ve read it, I want to terminate it. I can’t bear a child for you. Never.” Olivia shook her head.
Morgan let out a low chuckle, his gaze now staring at Olivia with amusement and interest.
“And why’s that?”
Olivia shot him a glance, as if he was growing horns in his head.
“I can’t bear you child, and that’s final. Can’t we just end the contract and you’d look for another girl?”
Morgan stared silently at her, after a while he nodded.
“Alright, the contract would be terminated, but you’d have to pay back my money, the one I used for your mother’s treatment.” He reluctantly stated.
Olivia froze, her eyes widening at him.
“You’re not serious!”
“Of course I am, pookie.” he smirked.
“Ok, how is it?” She asked, trying to be bold.
“Hundred Million pesos.”
“Where do you expect me to get that kind of money?” Olivia half yelled, anger evident in her tone.
“I don’t know. If you can get the money before tomorrow, then fine, the contract will be terminated as soon as possible.” Morgan said, pinching his brows.
Olivia glared at him, anger pulsating from her. She knew he was purposely trying to make fun of her.
“You’re heartless!” She cursed.
“I’d do everything possible to pay back your money.”
“Good.” Morgan hummed.
With that he turned around and left.
Olivia went back to her room, tears rolling down her cheek as she squatted behind the door, crying.
Where did Morgan expect her to get such money from?
She continued sobbing, until she eventually slept off.
Shortly after she slept off, Morgan walked into the room, his gaze stopped on her figure that lay on the floor, her hair draping over her face.
Morgan frowned, because Olivia looked so fragile and petite. He couldn’t help but carry her to the bed, his gaze not failing to catch her tears-messed face.
He still couldn’t believe that she refused to bear a child for him. An opportunity and dream of every other lady in the city.
He could just terminate the contract and let her go since she doesn’t want to have his child. But deep down, he couldn’t let her go, not that easily.
After a while, he stood up and left her room.
In the morning, when Olivia woke up, she looked around the room, recalling what happened last night. She felt sick to belly.
She remained in bed, thinking of all possible ways she could, earn money and pay Morgan back his money.
Though it sounded so impossible to her, she didn’t mind giving it a try. Even though it might actually take her a long time to cater for it.
She was still thinking when there was a knock on the door. She immediately shut her eyes, not wanting to talk to anyone, not this morning.
Aunt Maureen walked into the room, she left after knowing Olivia was still asleep. She couldn’t disturb her, given that she saw her waiting for Morgan last night.
When Olivia was sure that Morgan had left the house, she climbed off the bed, heading into the washroom.
After she was done, she dressed up in a simple purple polo and black denim shorts, wearing a black baseball cap on the head to cover half of her face.
After tying the sneaker’s lace, she gave the vanity one more glance before she left the room.
Along the hallway, she prayed not to bump into aunt Maureen. She just wanted to sneak out quietly , without anyone finding out.
She almost made it to the gate, when one of Morgan’s men saw her. These one were in-charge of security and the gate.
She smiled awkwardly, suddenly regretting not knowing any of their names.
“Ma’am are you going out?” He asked politely.
“Ma’am?” Olivia swallowed.
If ma’am, then it was going to be in her favor.
“Yeah, I’d go visit my mom then I’d be back.” She smiled.
“Alright.” Nodded the man.
He helped her with the gate, and she left.
Olivia knew he was going to inform Morgan right away, so immediately she was out of the building, she took off.
Thank goodness the estate was so quiet, she couldn’t even sight a single soul. Soon she was far away from there, thanks to her choice of dressing.
Actually, Olivia had no plans of visiting her mom. Since she needed money, she’d need to work and that can only be achieved if she went out, in search of a job.
Olivia had no idea where she was going, but she kept going, finally she was able to see moving vehicles. She couldn’t hail down a cab as we had no money on her, neither did she know where she was going.
It wasn’t long before she came across a mall, it wasn’t the same mall Morgan brought her to.
There were many people queuing up In front of the mall. “Were they hiring?” She asked no one in particular.
She went closer, wanting to get more information. If actually they were hiring, she’d definitely queue up.
“Look at who came to the modeling audition, you can’t even fit into the clothes. Ha! who would choose you, go away from here.” a girl laughed mockingly, scornfully staring at a fat girl who was in the back.
“Go away! You’re such a waste.” Another girl sneered.
“Hey fatty, do you plan on ripping the cloth with your fatty body?” Another girl laughed.
Olivia was done hearing them body Shame the crying girl. She turned towards them, anger building in her body.
“Can’t you all keep quiet!! Stop bullying her!” She yelled, glaring angrily.
She walked towards the fat girl, who was on the verge of bursting out. She touched her shoulder, smiling gently at her.
“Don’t let what they’re saying get to you okay?”
The girl nodded.
“What’s your name?” Olivia asked.
“Emma”
“I’m Olivia. Just don’t mind what they’re saying alright?”
Once again the girl nodded.
They other girls, glanced at each other, secretly whispering to themselves, while eyeing Olivia, who didn’t bat an eyelid and walked past them.
