Aurelia could only take the bus back to the villa. She didn’t even dare to take a taxi because her trousers were stained, and she happened to be wearing light-colored trousers yesterday.
She stood on the bus all the way and walked for more than ten minutes before she saw the gate of the villa.
She was already feeling very uncomfortable down there, so in order to avoid more people seeing her miserable state, Aurelia had no choice but to run back.
Aurelia opened the door of the villa, quickly changed her shoes, and walked into the living room. Except Mary, who was busy in the kitchen, no one was in the living room.
At that moment, Callum came down the stairs, and Aurelia met the man who came downstairs for breakfast.
Aurelia simply ignored him and rushed upstairs.
“Stop!” the man ordered with a cold face.
Aurelia paused as she was walking up the stairs, feeling uncomfortable again. She continued running upstairs without saying a word.
But her arm was held by the man behind her. “What’s wrong with you?” The originally cold voice carried a hint of anxiety.
Aurelia looked back in confusion.
She noticed that the man’s eyes were fixed on something.
Realizing what he had seen, her face flushed. “Let go of me! It’s none of your business!”
The man did not let go, but asked, “Where are you hurt? Why are you hurt?”
“I’m not…”
The next moment, her whole body flew into the air, and she fell into someone’s arms as she screamed. “Go to the hospital now!”
Callum thought Aurelia must be crazy. Why was she running upstairs when she was already injured?
“No… Put me down and let me explain.” Aurelia was going crazy.
Callum ignored her protests and strode to the door of the villa with her in his arms. While he was changing his shoes, Aurelia said anxiously, “I’m not hurt, I’m having my period!”
“What does the injury have to do with your period?
Seeing the man about to open the door of the villa, Aurelia explained anxiously, “I mean menstruation!”
The man stopped opening the door, so the blood on her trousers was…
Aurelia was finally put down. It would be more accurate to say, thrown down… She almost fell to the ground.
Callum looked grimly as she looked up and down at him to see if there was anything stains on his clothes.
Aurelia said speechlessly, “Don’t look at it. I’m hiding it from you!” When he hugged her, she was afraid of getting his clothes dirty, so she was very careful about her posture.
After saying that, she went upstairs.
By the time she finished her shower and changed her clothes, Callum had finished his breakfast.
The man who was reading the newspaper called the girl who was about to leave and said, “Come and have breakfast.”
Mary came out of the kitchen with a bowl. “Mrs. Finnegan, Mr. Finnegan said you are on your period. I just made some honey water for you. Come and drink it while it’s warm.”
Huh? She glanced at the man who was still concentrating on reading the newspaper, as if he hadn’t heard Mary mention him.
Since it was already done, she should drink it before leaving! Silently sitting down at the dining table, Mary placed the honey water in front of Aurelia. “Thank you, Mary.”
“You didn’t have to. Come drink it. I will make you whatever you want for lunch today.”
“Mary, I won’t be back at noon today. You can go back first after you’re done with your work!” Aurelia didn’t plan to come back at noon. It depended on the situation whether she would come back in the evening.
“Okay!” Mary made her another sandwich before going about her own business.
After breakfast, Aurelia felt much better in her stomach.
She picked up the backpack beside her and headed towards the door of the villa.
When she opened the door of the villa again, she realized that snowflakes were falling outside. She was about to take out her phone to call her chauffeur Tony, but Callum stood behind her without her knowing and said, “Get in the car.”
As soon as he finished speaking, a black car stopped in front of them, and Rory got out of the car. “Mr. and Mrs. Finnegan, good morning!”
Aurelia nodded to him and said to Callum, who had opened the back door for her, “Thank you for your kindness. I’ll just call Tony.”
Then she stood aside and ignored Callum.
Rory looked at Aurelia in astonishment. Aurelia was indeed Madam of the Finnegan Clan. Only she dared to reject Callum openly! Aurelia was definitely the first woman who rejected Callum’s invitation.
Callum walked up to her with a calm face, grabbed her wrist, and without giving her a chance to refuse, he pushed her into the car in a domineering manner.
Rory secretly gave Callum a thumbs up and admired his dominance.
Aurelia was of course unwilling. She glared angrily at the man who followed her in. She really wanted to shout, “Callum, are you crazy?”
However, no matter how angry she was, she didn’t dare to provoke him. She could only glare at him fiercely to express her dissatisfaction.
“I’ve asked Laura to go back. I want to see you at the villa tonight.”
Aurelia snorted and turned her face away from the window, ignoring him.
Callum rubbed his aching brow. What should he do with her? “It’s okay if you don’t agree. I’ll take you to the company later and take you back to the villa in person in the evening.”
Aurelia turned around and said unkindly, “Are you only capable of threatening people?”
Callum suddenly grabbed her hand, pulled her into his arms, and said calmly, “The process is not important. As long as I can bring you back to the villa, nothing else matters!”
“Let go of me! Don’t touch me when you can just talk!”
“It’s too cold outside. I’ll warm you up!”
Rory couldn’t help but complain in his heart. Fuck! The heater in the car was on full blast!
Aurelia struggled for a moment but failed to break free from his embrace. “Thank you for your kindness, but I’m not cold and I don’t need warmth.”
“Then I’m cold. You warm me up!”
Why did things become a bit weird?
Aurelia couldn’t move in his arms, gnashing her teeth in anger, and ordered Rory, who was driving in front, “Rory, please turn up the heating, so that he won’t be frozen!”
Rory wasn’t stupid. He knew whose side to stand on at this time. He was quite tactful. “Mrs. Finnegan, the heating is already turned up to the maximum. Maybe the weather is bad today. You should keep Mr. Finnegan warm!”
Aurelia looked at the back of Rory’s head in disbelief, and at this moment she wished she could smash his head!
This heartless man obviously took Callum’s side!
Callum grabbed her waist and ordered domineeringly: “I won’t allow you to be angry again!”
Aurelia never got angry enough, and more importantly, he felt upset when he saw her angry.
