Back in the room, Olive frowned as she saw Jericho speed out from her front.
“What is wrong with him? Tsk, tsk, tsk,” she mumbled and purposely banged the door in Wayne’s face. The Big Bad Alpha stood speechless and motionless for long seconds. Then he made a chesty chuckle. Then a throaty chuckle, then a mouthy chuckle. And finally he began to laugh. Olive heard the laughter and paused in her walking back to her vanity. Why was he laughing like a maniac?
Wayne ruffled his hair and lifted his face to look at the ceiling. He couldn’t believe himself at the moment. Olive had ignored him. Openly flirted with another man right in front of him and even banged the door in his face?
‘You are one lucky woman,’ he thought and laughed again. He wasn’t angry anymore. And that was a new development.
He only got rid of his anger while transferring it to something else. Maybe objects or even people. But just now, he couldn’t even transfer it to Jericho who was the reason for the anger. Or rather, the object of the anger. Instead, he was laughing like a maniac.
‘I know what you’re trying to do, mate. But I am going to show you that you cannot play this game and win. Why?’ he smiled to himself.
‘Because I… am the master,’ he grinned and walked away slowly. Not even realizing that he looked like a mentally unstable person few seconds ago, talking to himself and laughing.
He entered his gym and began to work out. All the while planning on how to make his mate jealous and talk to him again.

Olive purposely wore a skimpy printed skirt and a short sleeved crop top to the Circular Cabinet. Her hair was in a loose ponytail, with the short strands falling freely and sexily over her face. She had rubbed a light red lipstick on her lips and added mascara to her eyebrows. It wasn’t much makeup, but she looked beautiful more than before. As she walked slowly into the Circular Cabinet, Dolly and Vanessa’s eyes popped open.
“That’s with the ‘high school girl is meeting her crush’ outfit?” Vanessa quickly asked. Olive chuckled and walked in fully. She looked around and when she was certain it was just the three of them in the room, she sat down and crossed her legs.
“Wayne and I are fighting,” she declared in a firm tone, like she was proud of it.
“What?! Fighting? So soon!” Dolly bursted out and Olive almost rolled her eyes at Wayne’s overreactive and overdramatic sister.
“He blamed me for ignoring him when I obviously didn’t! And then he began the silent treatment,” she huffed and crossed her arms.
“Wayne began the silent treatment?” Vanessa asked and laughed. When she saw Olive’s deathly frown at her, she choked.
“Sorry, I just… I just didn’t believe Wayne could stoop low and enter the silent treatment with someone because he was being ignored. That’s so twelve year old,” she explained and laughed again.
“She’s his mate. Haven’t you heard that mates are like children to each other? They do all sorts of unbelievable things,” Dolly stated.
“Well, as I was saying. Wayne ignored me totally until lunch was over. So, I decided to ignore him too. And yes, I’ve been ignoring him ever since,” Olive declared triumphantly. She lifted her chin up and squared her shoulders in pride.
Dolly laughed.
“So what’s with the outfit then?” she asked and Vanessa spanked her on her bare shoulder as she was wearing a spaghetti strap dress.
“Ouch!”
“You’re so daft, Dolly! She’s trying to seduce Wayne into talking to her. Can’t you see that?”
“Oh,” Dolly mumbled and chewed on her lips. She didn’t know anything about these things. All she knew was science and logic.
“Exactly,” Olive giggled.
“Yeah, but not with the way you look,” Vanessa said while circling her index finger over Olive’s face.
Olive frowned immediately.
“What’s wrong with the way I look?” she asked. She too, like Dolly knew nothing about those things. All she knew was martial arts and getting the enemy to talk.
In the next second, Olive and Dolly were pulled off their feet and being dragged along by Vanessa. In the next thirty minutes, Olive couldn’t believe what she looked like as she stared at Vanessa’s mirror.
