Hendrix instructed his secretary to draft the contract for Graeme’s dismissal. Both Hendrix and the major shareholders signed it.
After the meeting, everyone left. Hendrix sat in his chair, deep in thought with the dismissal contract in hand.
All he needed to do now was take the contract back to the Bradshaw family and get Graeme’s signature. Once signed, Graeme would no longer be the chairman of the Bradshaw Group.
Losing the chairmanship was one thing, but Quentin would certainly ensure Graeme met his end.
Although Graeme had been stubborn, he was still Hendrix’s brother. It was unfortunate that Graeme’s greed had led them to this point.
Hendrix sighed helplessly and headed back to the Bradshaw family home.
When he arrived, Graeme had already returned from the hospital and was sitting in the hall.
Graeme looked pale and haggard, veins bulging, eyes bloodshot with extreme resentment, appearing decades older.
He remembered how Ivan had been crippled by Quentin and would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. The anger made him nearly lose his sanity, wishing he could tear Quentin apart with his own hands.
But even Micah was no match for Quentin, let alone himself. He could only rage helplessly.
“Graeme,” Hendrix said as he approached.
“Hendrix, why are you back from the company so soon?” Graeme suppressed his anger, holding onto a shred of rationality.
“Graeme, take a look at this contract. If there are no issues, please sign it.”
Hendrix handed the dismissal contract to Graeme.
“What?! You treacherous dog, Hendrix!”
“Who gave you the guts to conspire with all the shareholders to dismiss me!”
“As long as I’m here, don’t even think about getting my signature on this contract. Now get out of the Bradshaw family!”
Graeme went berserk, throwing the contract at Hendrix’s face. He couldn’t believe his own brother would turn against him like this.
His fury almost caused him to faint on the spot.
“Graeme, don’t you understand yet?”
“You’ve completely enraged Quentin! He told me that if you don’t step down as chairman, the Bradshaw family will be wiped out overnight!”
“For the survival of the Bradshaw family, please sign it. Do you really want to see our parents’ hard-earned legacy destroyed?”
Hendrix picked up the contract and pleaded with Graeme, tears streaming down his face.
“Hah, you even went to Quentin to conspire against me.”
“If our parents were still alive, how could you face them!”
Graeme slammed the table in rage, his voice echoing through the Bradshaw family home.
“Graeme, I…”
“Bang!”
The Bradshaw family’s door suddenly burst open with a loud crash. Heavy footsteps approached like a heartbeat.
A man and a woman entered the hall-Quentin and Eileen. Both Graeme and Hendrix were stunned.
“Quentin?!” Graeme’s eyes widened as he pointed at Quentin.
“Head of the Bradshaw family, long time no see. Did you miss me?”
Quentin sneered coldly.
“Quentin, why are you here!” Graeme shouted angrily.
“Why? You sent your son and a Ground Realm expert to kill me!”
“And now you ask why? Have you lost your memory?”
“I’m here today to personally take your life!”
Quentin’s expression was icy cold, making Graeme shiver.
“You…” Graeme was speechless with rage.
“Quentin, please spare him. This is the dismissal contract signed by me and the shareholders of the Bradshaw Group.”
“If he signs it, he will no longer be the chairman.”
Hendrix handed the contract to Quentin, pleading.
“Do I need you to tell me how to handle things? What right does the Bradshaw family have to negotiate with me?”
“The four great families harmed my parents; he was one of the main culprits. I can spare the Bradshaw family, but he must die.”
“If he dies, I’ll consider sparing the Bradshaw family.”
Quentin threw the contract back at Graeme.
“Hah, Quentin, even if you kill me now, I won’t sign it!”
Graeme stood firm; this was his final dignity.
“You don’t have to sign it. But I can make your Bradshaw family disappear from Stresall overnight.”
“And your son lying in the hospital-the only male heir of your family-I will make sure he has no place to be buried. Your family will end with him.”
Faced with Quentin’s threat, Graeme felt as if struck by lightning. Ivan was the only heir of the Bradshaw family. If Quentin killed him, their lineage would end forever.
“Fine. As long as you don’t destroy the Bradshaw family or kill my son, do whatever you want with me.”
Graeme trembled as he picked up the dismissal contract and signed it.
From that moment on, Graeme was no longer the chairman of the Bradshaw Group.
Quentin walked up to Graeme and grabbed his forehead. Graeme closed his eyes, filled with unwillingness and regret.
He was unwilling! He had lived a glorious life as head of the Bradshaw family. Now he was about to die at Quentin’s hands. He regretted being blinded by greed and conspiring with the other three families against the Holland family.
Now Quentin had come for revenge. Was this his retribution for all his wrongdoings?
“Repent in hell. In your next life, don’t provoke those you shouldn’t.”
Quentin’s expression was as cold as a glacier. His hand exerted force; internal energy exploded. Graeme’s body flew across the room, his heart shattered!
“Brother!”
Hendrix fell to his knees, eyes red and roaring in anguish. Despite everything, Graeme was still his brother. Seeing him die before his eyes left him unable to remain calm.
He gently closed Graeme’s wide-open eyes…
“Graeme, from now on, I’ll take care of the Bradshaw family!”
