At the Bradshaw family home, Graeme and Hendrix were chatting and drinking tea in the hall. Hendrix had come to give Graeme one last piece of advice.
“Bang! Bang! Bang!”
The Bradshaw family’s front door was suddenly knocked on, startling the two men. Graeme instructed a servant to check the situation.
“Master, something terrible has happened! The young master…” A butler ran in, looking extremely panicked.
Soon, two servants carried in a person. His face was pale and haggard, his hair disheveled, both legs broken, and his body covered in blood. He was unconscious.
Upon closer inspection, it was none other than Ivan, the eldest son of the Bradshaw family.
“What happened! My son!” Graeme stood up abruptly and rushed to Ivan’s side, his chest heaving with shock at the sight before him.
“Master, when I went out just now, I saw the young master lying outside the Bradshaw family’s gate,” the butler said.
“Son, wake up!” Graeme patted Ivan’s face. Ivan slowly opened his eyes.
“Dad…” Ivan was extremely weak.
“Son, what happened?” Graeme asked anxiously.
“The Holland family… Quentin… Dad… save me…”
“Mr. Haney was killed by Quentin…” Ivan replied.
“What?!”
“Quick, take him to the hospital!”
Graeme was shocked. He couldn’t believe what Ivan had said. How could Micah, a Ground Realm expert, be killed by Quentin?
The servants carried Ivan out and rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
Graeme returned to his seat, picked up a cup of tea, his hands trembling so much that the tea spilled out.
“Brother, what exactly happened?” Hendrix was completely in the dark about the situation.
Graeme told Hendrix about sending Ivan and Micah to eliminate Quentin from the Holland family.
“What? Graeme, you! Sigh…”
“I told you not to go against Quentin.”
“Now look what happened. Not only did you anger him, but the young master’s legs are also broken. It’s a miracle he’s still alive.”
Hendrix said helplessly. This time, Graeme’s actions might have completely infuriated Quentin. The Bradshaw family could be doomed at any moment.
“I didn’t know Quentin would be so ruthless…”
Graeme was extremely angry but even more fearful of Quentin.
“Brother, you should go to the hospital to see the young master first. I’ll head back to the company.”
Hendrix left after speaking. Now he could only try to oust Graeme before Quentin took his anger out on the Bradshaw family.
At the Bradshaw Group, Hendrix secretly convened a meeting with all major shareholders.
In the Bradshaw Group’s shareholder meeting room, the shareholders were puzzled as to why Hendrix had suddenly called a secret meeting without even informing Graeme. Only Hendrix looked solemn.
“Everyone, I have gathered you here today because of a matter concerning the survival of the Bradshaw family.”
The crowd was shocked. The survival of the Bradshaw family? This was the first time they had encountered such a severe issue.
“I want everyone to join me in removing Graeme from his position as chairman.”
The room erupted in an uproar.
“Vice chairman, why make such a sudden decision? Please reconsider!”
“Do you want to take over the Bradshaw Group for yourself?”
“Have you and the chairman become enemies?”
Hendrix had anticipated these questions from the shareholders.
“Alright, everyone quiet down and listen to me.” With just a few words from Hendrix, the room fell silent.
“As you all know, the Edwards family, the Hill family, and the Duncan family were all wiped out by some hidden force.”
“And this hidden force is something none of our four families can contend with. Their target is us.”
“If we go against them, we will also face certain death.”
The crowd was horrified. They had long known that the three families were destroyed because they offended some powerful force.
“But don’t worry too much. I have already communicated with the leader of this force.”
“Their target is only Chairman Graeme. As long as we work together to remove him from his position, the Bradshaw Group will be safe.” After Hendrix finished speaking, everyone fell into deep thought.
“Vice chairman, how can we trust you without proof?”
Some shareholders asked. They didn’t dare blindly trust Hendrix. If he was lying, Graeme would not spare them.
“I swear on my life that if I am lying, I will die without a grave.”
“I guarantee that removing the chairman will not cause any loss to you.”
Seeing Hendrix make such a serious vow, everyone had nothing more to say.
“Alright, we will follow your lead and remove Graeme from his position as chairman.”
The shareholders agreed.
“We’ve wanted to remove him for a long time. He always squeezes our shares and delays dividends.”
Some shareholders murmured complaints, which Hendrix heard clearly.
Indeed, Graeme had done many things that dissatisfied the shareholders. He had even conspired with the three families to frame the Holland family and now had completely offended Quentin.
For the survival of the Bradshaw family, Hendrix had no choice but to sacrifice his brother for the greater good!
