LYRA POV.
I groaned softly, blinking twice as I carefully stood up from the bed, trying not to disturb the triplets. “Fuck, I can’t believe I passed out,” I muttered to myself, chuckling lightly as I gathered my clothes and quickly got dressed.
I tiptoed out of their room, peeking out into the hallway to pray that the alpha and Luna were still asleep. Seeing the coast was clear, I made a swift dash for my own room, hoping to avoid any awkward encounters.
As I reached my room, I let out a sigh of relief and closed the door behind me, feeling a sense of safety wash over me. I pull off my clothes, walking towards the mirror.
“Oh no”. I gasped, my whole body, from my neck to my thigh was covered in love bites.
“I will be dead if their parents see this”. I whispered, going towards my wardrobe as I searched for a top that would cover everything.
I finally found a loose-fitting turtleneck sweater that would conceal the evidence of my wild night.
“This is good”. I said examining the top, Turing my gaze, I looked at the time beside my bed.
“Oh it’s six already”.
Dropping the clothes I picked out, I hurried into the bathroom. I turned the shower on, wincing as the warm water hit my sensitive skin. I tried to wash away the lingering scent of the triplets.
As I stood under the showerhead, I couldn’t help but think about the triplets’ mischievous grins and the way they had teased me last night. I had tried to resist, but they had worn me down, and… well, now I was paying the price.
“Damn it,” I muttered, frustrated with myself. Why had I let things go so far last night? And why did I always seem to find myself in these situations?.
Once I was done bathing I quickly dried my body. As I dried myself off, I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror and sighed. My skin was still flushed from the night’s activities, and the love bites on my neck and shoulders seemed to be staring back at me, mocking me.
I picked up the clothes and started dressing. The turtleneck sweater I had chosen was now clinging to my damp skin accentuating the very marks I was trying to hide. I groaned in frustration, feeling like I was only making things worse. Why had I thought a turtleneck would be a good idea? Now I looked like I was trying to hide something, which only made me appear more guilty.
“I won’t be changing either way”. I murmured.
“And where is my bag… oh goddess, I left it at school”. I groan, hitting my palm on my head.
I took a deep breath before going out of my room, slowly walking down the corridor, till I reached the staircase. I stopped hearing the alpha and Luna voices. I could hardly hear a word they were saying but I’m pretty sure it’s about us.
“Good morning, alpha, luna”. I murmured, keeping my head low.
“Oh you’re up? Come here”. Luna Anna said with a smile, tapping the seat beside her.
“Why are you all covered up?”, she asked, staring at me curiously.
“Just a fashion choice, Luna Anna,” I replied, trying to sound convincing. “I wanted to try a new style.”
Luna Anna raised an eyebrow. “A new style that covers your entire neck and shoulders?”.
“Yes”.
Alpha Isaac just looked at me without saying a word, he hasn’t said a word to since the triplet declared their liking to me.
“Do you know Jake?”.
And my heart skipped a beat. I knew it, we are in trouble now.
“Yes, he’s from school”.
“His father called, he said the triplet bashed him up real bad. Care to explain why?”Alpha Isaac finally speak.
“He.. he tries to touch me inappropriately”.
“I can clearly remember that you can single handed my handle four warriors on your own, even beating them to the extent that they won’t feel a single bone in their body but yet you can’t handle a single person, and you have to get my sons involved in this mess”. Alpha Isaac said, his voice going higher.
“Isaac..”. Luna whispered, holding his hand.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to get them involved. I tried to stop…”.
“Nevermind lyra, that is gone. I have actually thought of changing your school”.
My eyes widened in shock as I raised my head to meet their gaze.
“But you all only have one year left before finishing, so instead I decided, you won’t be leaving home with them, or riding with them nor sitting with them in school. I think that would be the best for us all, don’t you think so too?”. She asked, smiling lovely.
“Yes, Luna Anna,” I responded, my voice barely above a whisper. “Anything you say.”
“I’m glad we understood each other, you can leave”. She murmured before turning to the alpha. My eyes dashed up, hoping the triplets will be awake by now but no, they sleep like a pig. Always late.
