“You should be grateful I didn’t hit you!” Aurelia waved her fist at her aggressively. Evelyn immediately lowered her head and trotted to pick up her wallet.
Seeing Evelyn being humiliated, Virgil pointed at the tip of Aurelia’s nose and snapped, “If you’re meant to make a scene here, I will call the security to throw you out!”
Aurelia shrugged him off before saying indifferently, “Whatever!” Aurelia did not give a damn about Virgil.
She wasn’t afraid of anybody until Callum showed up. Did Virgil have the guts to offend Callum by killing her?
At the same time, outside the boutique store, people were discussing something. When they saw a wallet thrown out, they all fell silent.
When Callum saw the scene, he seemed indifferent. Soon, a girl with red eyes came out to pick it up.
The general manager of the mall, who was wiping his cold sweat, saw this commotion and felt that something was happening. He immediately said, “Mr. Finnegan, allow me to check it out!”
Callum came to inspect the mall unannounced. The management of the mall were caught off guard and immediately rushed back.
As Callum’s face grew colder, the general manager drenched in cold sweat.
Callum seemed not to hear his words and looked coldly at the commotion in the store not far away.
The next moment, a man was pushed out by a woman.
More onlookers gathered in front of the store, pointing and talking.
When the general manager recognized who the man was, his heart skipped a beat. What the hell was Virgil doing? Did he have any idea he had irritated Mr. Finnegan?
Inside the boutique store.
Virgil, who had suppressed his rage, rushed back and pulled Aurelia out by the wrist. “How dare you touch me?”
Aurelia looked at her wrist being held by Virgil and gave a disarming look to Cathy and Liana who were about to come up.
When the two of them reached the outside of the store, she shook off his hand and threw him over her shoulder without saying a word.
Aurelia hated being touched by strangers too. This scumbag had it coming!
“Ah!” Virgil’s scream sounded through the third floor of the mall. Now there were more people watching, even blocking Callum’s view.
The woman involved looked familiar… Callum suddenly had a bad feeling and immediately strode over.
The general manager and his subordinates who followed behind wailed bitterly in their mind. They were finished!
Virgil’s face twisted in pain as he was helped up from the ground by Evely. He glared at Aurelia fiercely, regardless of his image as the deputy general manager.
He raised his hand to slap her, but his arm was grabbed by Aurelia. Before he could react, he was kicked hard.
“Aurelia! Awesome!” Cathy clapped her hands and looked at the stunning Aurelia excitedly.
Liana echoed in admiration, “Very impressive, Aurelia!”
Callum came over later and heard Virgil groaning in pain.
Aurelia?
He had seen how good she fought many times before. How would she be so strong like a man?
As soon as the crowd sensed Callum’s domineering aura, they immediately made way for him so that he could see the situation clearly.
Virgil fell to the ground, unable to get up due to the pain. Aurelia was ready to knock him out again at any time.
“Damn it. I’ll make you pay!” Seeing Virgil struggling to his feet, the crowd covered their mouths and laughed.
After seeing this, Evelyn didn’t dare to come up, fearing that Aurelia would attack her.
Aurelia raised her leg again and kicked Virgil in the stomach as he just stood up. He let out a scream and almost fell to his knees before clutching his stomach.
He used all his strength to stand up from the ground, staggered to Aurelia, and prepared to slap her hard.
His arm was stopped again, but this time it wasn’t Aurelia.
Before Aurelia could figure out what was going on, she felt a familiar cold aura and saw the man behind Virgil in disbelief.
Why was Callum here? What bad luck!
Which woman was he with this time?
Virgil didn’t know who was behind him yet, so he turned around, his eyes flashing with malice. However, when he met the cold eyes of the man behind him, he was so scared that his mind went blank.
Mr. Finnegan? Callum was famous in Evercrest. Everyone knew him, including Virgil.
Virgil was thunderstruck.
Callum shook off Virgil’s arm with one move, and easily sent Virgil flying. Seeing Virgil look embarrassed after being thrown made everyone cover their mouths and laugh secretly again.
The ones who didn’t laugh were the management of the mall present and Aurelia. Cathy and Liana seemed to have forgotten the previous conflict between Callum and Aurelia, looking at Callum with admiration.
“Callum…” Aurelia was a little on edge when she met Callum’s gaze. Clutching the corner of her clothes tightly, Aurelia looked like a kid caught in wrongdoing.
Was he going to kick her out again?
Callum looked coldly at a salesperson in the store before asking, “What’s going on?” His terrifying aura made the salesperson stutter for a long time.
Evelyn was completely stunned when she saw Callum. He was too handsome! Recalling he helped her out last time, Evelryn was convinced that Callum was interested in her.
Thinking of this, regardless of the fear in her heart, she walked forward and said gently, “Mr. Finnegan, my name is Evelyn. I had my eye on a brocade box before I went to the bathroom. When I came back, Miss Sheridan was going to pay for it. I told her that it was mine, but she didn’t listen. She even hit the deputy general manager to take it away from me! Look, the manager was beaten badly!”
The scheming Evelyn didn’t mention that Virgil was her boyfriend.
Callum seemed not to hear her. After a glance at Aurelia, who was glaring at Evelyn, he strode into the store. “Where’s the brocade box?”
The salesperson immediately brought the brocade box and handed it to him respectfully.
He took the box, opened it and took a look. Why would Aurelia buy a tie pin and a tie clip for men? Or was she just being unreasonable as Evelyn said?
