Rachel stood frozen, her heart sinking as she watched the cake and the shattered perfume bottles lying on the ground. The room fell into an eerie silence as Zech’s anger filled the air. She couldn’t believe what had just happened, all her efforts were a total waste.
Zech’s face twisted with a mix of frustration, grief, and rage. His carefully planned birthday surprise had been ruined by him, and the weight of his father’s death anniversary weighed heavily on him. The moment he went to his Father’s cemetery to pay his respects his found it in ruin, he knew it was Peter’s doing, he wanted to get to him and he did, he was so angry, he had been fighting to calm his rage, but this blew it all up.
In that moment, his emotions overflowed, and he directed his anger towards Rachel.
He stared at her coldly and harshly like an enemy.
“Why are you being so pathetic and disgusting, I have told you I can never fall for a frail low life like you, you keep throwing yourself at him have some pride, you’re cheap and you can never be my type, I only took pity on you asking you to come here, but it seem that was a mistake, you can just pack your stuff and leave don’t ever come back, your mere sight disgust me”.
He didn’t mean to hurt her, but his words came out cold, harsh, and heart-wrenching. He lashed out, unable to control the storm inside him.
“Zech” Vincent shouted his name in rage, he knew how much Rachel put into this, and this is what she get.
He stopped him by raising his hand, he stepped closer to her and whispered to her “you’re just a wolf less omega, you don’t deserve me, not in this time not ever, you’re just a toy I can use whenever I feel like and toss it away” Vin was filled with rage. he walked up to Zech and punched his face, something he had never done before.
Zech stood up with blood in his mouth, “oh so you whoring around, I guess that’s why he stood up for you huh,” another punch came.
“Enough of this nonsense Zech, it’s not her fault” he said Zech just sat on the ground devastated.
Rachel’s eyes welled up with tears as she ran out of the room, feeling crushed and utterly devastated. She had put her heart and soul into creating the perfect gift for Zech, and now it was all destroyed, he said those harsh cold words to her, he touched her vital spot by calling her wolf less, she got to the room and started packing her stuff and tears rolled down her eyes uncontrollably.
Vincent, after hitting him, rushed after Rachel, his concern evident on his face. He found her in her room, packing her stuff, her body shaking with sobs. He gently approached her and wrapped his arms around her in a comforting embrace, Rachel hugged him back and sobbed more.
“I’m so sorry, Rachel,” Vincent whispered. “I know Zech didn’t mean those words. He’s just going through a really tough time right now.”
Rachel sobbed harder, her voice choked with pain. “You don’t have to console me, and you don’t have to speak for him. He made his point clear, I just didn’t expect this kind of reaction from him, especially on his birthday.”
Vincent hugged her tighter, offering his support. “It’s his Fathers death anniversary, it my fault I should have told you, this wouldn’t have happened, I’m Really sorry, just give him some time to process everything,” he said softly.
“He’ll realize his mistake and come to apologize. Zech is a good person at heart, and he values your friendship, it’s just that his rage gets the better of him most times”.
Rachel wiped away her tears and took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. “It doesn’t matter anymore, I will leave here and the company, I’ll go to a new place and start a new life there.
“Rachel please listen to me, don’t leave he won’t be able to live without, please” he said pleading with her.
But Rachel’s mind was already made up and nothing he would say was gonna change that “I’m sorry Vin I can’t stay, she took her luggage and walked out of the room, she could feel her eyes a little blur the pain was begning yo attack her again.
Vin rushed after her and stood in her front “Vin it not gonna change anything” she said with a cold voice tears still rolled down her eyes.
“At least tell me where you’re going” he said pleading
“I haven’t decided, I’ll text you when I do” she said and walked out of the mansion, the maid were all sad, they too felt hurt at what their master did, he indeed went too far.
Meanwhile, Zech stood alone in the room, his anger slowly subsiding, leaving behind a profound sense of regret. He realized the severity of his actions and the pain he had inflicted on Rachel. He never meant to hurt her, especially not on his own birthday, but he couldn’t control himself.
Overwhelmed with guilt, Zech hurriedly made his way to find Rachel. He searched through her room but couldn’t find her, his footsteps echoing loudly in the empty corridors. Finally, he found Vin standing outside the door, then it dawned on him that she had left, but he didn’t want to believe it, so he rushed to where Vin stood and grabbed his chest by the neck.
“Where is she?” He asked anxiously, his eyes held pain and anger but it was directed towards himself.
“She’s gone Zech, she gone” she said in a tried tone
“What do you mean gone, why didn’t you stop her, why? He said angrily, he left Vin and entered his car, he drove in high speed going to her house thinking she had gone back there, but to his surprise she wasn’t there, he sat in front of her door frustrated, he tried calling but her number wasn’t connecting, at this moment he knew he had lost her.
Rachel was walking down the road at night, her vision was becoming Kore and more blur, till she passed out on the road, a young man in black car saw her and took her into his car.
