The sun was Shining brightly through her window, but she was still fast asleep, due to her sleeping late last night, but she was woken from her sleep by the sound of the knock on her door, “come in” she said as she stretched her limbs and rubbed the sleep from her swollen eyes.
“Good morning Miss Rachel ” Vin said with a smile standing at the door, he didn’t dare to go closer for fear she wasn’t fully dressed.
“Good morning” she said then she finally sat up after all the stretching, she looked at Vin and forced a smile back.
“Breakfast is ready, I came to let you know”, “oh that very nice of I’ll be down soon thanks” Vin smiled and closed the door and left, but he sensed something was wrong with her.
She was glad he hadn’t caught up on anything yet, she walked into the bathroom looking at her swollen eyes, she took her brush and began to brush her teeth, she went into the shower to take a cold bath, she wanted to clear her head.
She stood in the cold shower, without moving as what Vin told her kept replaying in her head.

Those words were like a thousand knife stabs to her heart. It just kept replaying, as tears flowed down her eyes, while the water from the shower washed it down, it had already been an hour she was standing in the shower. Her legs were always numb and freezing but she didn’t care.
She finally stepped out of the shower, and dried her hair, she put on a plain red gown leaving her hair to fall on her shoulders.
Vin and Zech sat down in the dining room eating in silence as one would think, but they were actually discussing their next plan through their mind link, it was one every wolf in a pack possesses.
They wouldn’t have minded talking out loud, but this time they were no longer alone, Rachel now lives with them, they wouldn’t want her overhearing their conversation, making her feel insecure.
“How did they find out your location?” Vin asked him.
“I haven’t figured that out yet, but I bet someone tipped him off about my location, he wouldn’t have been able to catch on so fast, the peter I knew before wasn’t this smart”. He said eating his food.
“Do you think someone else is behind him?” this time he asked looking at his face but as usual he could read his expression it was blank.
“I’m not sure yet, but since he had already made the first move, I won’t be too polite to fight back, but first I have to meet the seer Gerald told me about”.
“My father? What seer? When did he tell you that?” He asked with a confused look.
“He told me before I go to war, I have to seek out the old seer he made me swear to, so I guess it is really important to find her”.
“Do you even know her location?” He just kept staring at Zech whose face held not a single emotion but was cold, he was already used to it.
“Yes, I” he stopped talking as he noticed Rachel’s presence sake with Vin, “let continue this in my study later” he said but he didn’t dare raise his head to look at Rachel.
Rachel walked slowly down the stairs, she could feel her legs slightly shaking from the numbness, “common you food is gonna get cold” she hasten her footstep but she missed her step and almost fell But Zech was fast enough to catch her he held her waist firmly.
He gently carried her down the stairs and dropped her on the ground, Rachel just pushed him from her “I didn’t need your help” she said and walked away from him towards the dining table, Zech didn’t say anything he just went back to his seat, while Vin couldn’t understand what was wrong.
But what she saw on the table made her stop on her tracks, she turned to Vin, “what is this?” she asked him, but Vin was confused by her question.
“Obviously miss Rachel it’s meat” he said mockingly “yeah I know that, I mean why mean this morning”.
Okay He was even more confused. He didn’t understand what she meant by meat, it was breakfast. “I’m sorry miss Rachel I can’t seem to understand you”.
She sighs seeing he didn’t get what she meant, “I mean you can’t eat meat this morning, it is too heavy for eating as breakfast, this is called breakfast disorder.
Vin smiled and he now finally understood what she was trying to relay to him, “well this is our regular morning breakfast, red meat, you know as wolves we need our strength, so we have to eat this”.
She didn’t bother to sit down anymore, she just went straight to the fridge to open it, it was filled with meat, “come on Vin, no milk, uh floor maybe so I can make some pancakes’ ‘.
Vin just raised his hand in an I don’t know order.
“Well you have to start considering me if I have to stay in this house, I’m a lady for crying out loud I can’t eat this” she said pointing at the meat as if she had some beef with it, the whole time Zech had been stealing side glances at her.
“Take her to the mall later and get what she wants,” he said, looking at Vincent.
“Okay I wi..” He was cut off by Rachel “I can take care of myself, I don’t need some random person worrying about me.
He was angry at the way she Referred him as random, “you don’t speak to your boss in that matter” he said in a cold voice.
“Last I remembered we ain’t at the office, so please, do well to respect my space” she started walking away and paused “I’ll give you the due respect when were at the office Mr Zech Oliver” she said and then turned to Vin “I can’t go to the mall myself thanks” she left and slammed the door on getting to her room.
He slammed the table with his hands, how could she talk to him that way, she didn’t have the right, he would make her regret it, he stood “Come to my office when you’re done” he said walking away.
“Is everything okay with you guys” he asked through the link but Zech blocked him out right away.
“Oh come on” he said looking at the retreating figure of Zech.
She collapse on her bed immediately, her stomach was rumbling with hunger, he need to go out and clear her head she picked up her phone and texted peter, ‘Let see hope you’re free’ she then texted him a location of where they would see and the time her phone beeps ‘I’ll see you later than” peter texted her back.
She stood up, took her bag and left the room heading to the mall to get stuff, then she overheard Zech’s and Vin’s discussion. Her expression was filled with fear.
