Inside Emperor Aufdzek’s palace,
In one room, a couple was sleeping. However, a man with a thick beard was restless in his sleep, as if something was happening there.
“Where am I now?” muttered the man, panicking.
The atmosphere around the place where the tall man was was very dark indeed. He tried to look around but found no one there. “How did I end up in this strange place?”
It was hushed, which caused fear in the man’s heart. He could not see anything, so such a state frightened that mortal male, as everything that existed became terrifying.
“How do I get out of here?” said the man, agitated. He tried to stare in all directions again. However, doing so was futile. “I would rather walk towards the front than wait here.”
In the dream, the burly man walked on. After a while, there was a cold wind, but he tried to ignore it. The dominant darkness was still felt by that mortal male. He shuddered by himself as if there was an appearance of an invisible creature. However, such a thing was only sometimes the case.
The red-haired man went into the forest, even though he did not know where to go. Before long, the green-eyed man came to a large field. “I hope I do not find anything creepy here. Where should I go now? O Goddess Asile, please guide me.”
Unbeknownst to him, a woman was carrying a torch and accompanied by two large black dogs, but they were not as big as their master. “Did you hear that, Tatvatha and Tegothra? That damn mortal summoned his useless goddess. We will prove that no matter what happens, Asiles cannot help him.”
The two magical dogs did not bark, as if holding back so that the mortal male would not notice their presence. The Queen of Witchcraft grinned, giving her face a terrifying look. “I am going to let that moron Aufdzek so that he can meet a special guest. I want to see his reaction.”
That immortal goddess and her two dogs disappeared from there, leaving a chill in the air. Aufdzek felt it, giving the man goosebumps. “Are there ghosts here? Why is the air so strange? I hope I don’t run into any spirits.”
After walking for seven hundred meters, Aufdzek saw a man with his back to him. However, he could not recognize the person, as the body of the unknown person was still in the same position and was now illuminated by the moonlight. A man in his thirties walked closer out of curiosity. After standing right behind the target, he suddenly realized why he was in such a strange place.
Hey, why am I even in the forest? Could this place be the forbidden forest? If that is the case, I must leave here as soon as possible because I have entered a dangerous place. For the sake of Lord Brazakh, what has happened? He thought anxiously.
Aufdzek tried to move, but there was no energy at all. That young man felt as if something had put his entire body under a spell, rendering him helpless.
“Aufdzek, you are as cowardly as Droitzon. Where were your guts that said you wanted to follow in the footsteps of your ancestors? You did not stop the order to kill every newborn child if it was indicated to be a messenger of the Goddess Magia, especially after listening to the prophecy of the Seer. Did you think that you could kill the Chosen One?” The strange voice was heard.
A man who felt his name being called as soon as possible fell silent and tried to find the source of the voice but could not find it. Who called out? I do not see anyone else here except the man standing in front. Could it be he called me? Guessed Aufdzek anxiously.
“Do not bother looking. I have been here all along,” said an unfamiliar voice.
Aufdzek was terrified but could not argue. His tongue felt like it was locked up. The man who had his back to the emperor now turned toward him so that the green-eyed man could see the form of the interlocutor.
“Do you think you can destroy the messenger of the Goddess Magia? The curse that was pronounced seven hundred and fifty years ago is irrevocable and will soon be fulfilled. Prepare to die, for that is what you deserve, Aufdzek,” said the man whose body was illuminated by the moonlight.
The mysterious man’s words stunned the emperor, whose full name was Orfintzh Aufdzek.
By the Gods of Brazakh! Is that Lord Utzkah, the enemy of Emperor Droitzon? This situation is genuinely frightening! How could he even enter my dream? I must get out of here so as not to die in vain! Aufdzek thought, terrified. The emperor tried to move his body, but it was in vain, as nothing changed for him.
A terrifying laugh came from the stranger so that anyone who heard it would be terrified, and so would the young emperor. “Do you want to run? Death has already entered your kingdom and is only one step away, so all will happen soon. Enjoy your life while you can because everything there will perish after this. Yes, ALL OF YOU WILL DIE! Ha… ha… ha ….”
A tall, well-built man shuddered even more, especially after hearing the words of Lord Utzkah. The man’s laughter was heard again, making the atmosphere tense.
Ugh! How can I get out of here? At least I should be able to wake up. If that scary witch gets close and does something evil, I definitely will not survive. O, Lord Brazakh, save me! Aufdzek screamed in his heart.
“Call your God, for he will not defend. I will not spare Droitzon’s descendants and all of Zlatav’s people, who have proven treacherous, especially those who harmed the Chosen One. You are all bastards! Filthy blood! Human scum! The curse has run its course, and no one will be spared. Prepare to die!” the red-eyed man swore. He was filled with so much vengeance and rage that the other man panicked.
Aufdzek was even more frightened, as the look on the other’s face was terrifying. A man with a thick beard tried to move, and… it worked! That burly man ran away as fast as he could, and an eerie roar of laughter echoed throughout the forest as if wherever he went, Lord Utzkah followed.
The emperor’s right foot hit something, and he immediately fell down. Before long, the red-haired man woke up, breathing heavily, as if he had been chased by something. Sweat was pouring down his body, but he didn’t care. Meanwhile, his wife was still fast asleep and did not wake up at all.
“Oh my god! I met Lord Utzkah earlier. How could it have happened? Any human who dreams about him, except Goddess Magia’s devotees, will be afflicted. This time it was me. The man said, ‘The curse that was pronounced seven hundred and fifty years ago is irrevocable and will soon be fulfilled,’ even telling me to be ready to die. Then, the girl who was promised to be the liberator of the witches had indeed been born and survived? Why is there no report on the child? This is really bad!” muttered Aufdzek, panicking.
